Chapter 6

"Which year are we now?"

Sabrina was the first to react. She began to look at Noah strangely and then she asked:

"Did you live under a rock your whole live or what?"

Noah laughed and reply:

"Something like that, I trained my whole life and this the first time going out."

David said then:

"Your master is a hard person, to not let you out this whole time is very hard."

"Ok, we are now in the year 307 of the Goldenkrone Empire calendar."

"WHHATT?"

Noah was shocked, he knew now where he was and that made him feel frustration. He remembered that the Goldenkrone Empire has the year 3308. That means he is 3000 years in the past.

A lot of things began to flow in his mind, and he could not explain himself what he was feeling. But one was sure and that is that he feels regrets.

"Why did I run away and left my grandparents? Now I cannot see them again, will they be sad about my disappearance? Grandma can't lose me too, after father left us."

He was only thinking about his grandparents, they are like his parents and they are the one who took care about him and raised him. He knows that his grandparents will suffer a lot without him.

"I have to find a way back. If I could travel to the past I can also go back. This is not the end; I have a lot of time."

Then he remembered what Gibril said as he gave him the system.

"Don't worry, there is always a way to go back."

"If he said it, then he would know how, or he knows that this will be my wish after knowing where I am."

David and Sabrina where only watching Noah speaking alone and they began to feel worried about his mental state. Sabrina then said to David silently in his ears:

"I think, he was a long time locked and now he knows how long. His master is a real monster. Let us help him, I don't think he would be alright alone."

David hear her seriously and nodded as a reply. He thinks the same too and he wanted to help him too. So, he said:

"Hey Noah, it's not late to begin your life from new. We will help you."

Noah looked at them strangely as he heard the nonsense they were talking. Even if Sabrina spoke very silently, he was still able to hear her. But he still feels better hearing them, even if he only knows them since a short time. So, he changed his expression to a gentle one with a smile and said:

"Thank you, guys, I think I need really your help. Let us go to the portals, I am really hungry."

Sabrina and David smiled too and then Sabrina took a nut bar and gave it to Noah.

"We have a lot of way still to the portals. They are not directly here; we have to walk for a half day till we are there."

Then the three of them began to walk in direction of the portals. They chatted a lot and spoke about all kinds of issues.

As Noah expected they were from the famous Edelgrade House, one of the most famous knights' noble houses. They were also the heirs of the Edelgrade House, and both were knights. But the most curious thing was when they told him that both will inherit the position as the leaders of the Edelgrade House.

"How is that possible? Will that not be very conflictive?"

"No, as you know we are twins and that is our biggest gift and talent. We complement each other perfectly and when we work together then our work is perfectly made every time. Of course, my descendants will not inherit my position from me, but I can still guarantee then other things."

Explained Sabrina and she looked happy with it. It was not normal for a female to be the leader of a house and she had the opportunity to be a leader and to share it with her brother. To be in such a position and to share it equally with her brother is much better than being forced to marry another family for profit.

And Soon they reached the portal and it was not the same as Noah knew. They are much smaller, and the design was old too. Maybe right now these portals are already the best what here are.

They then took the portal to Goldberg City, the capital of Goldenkrone Empire. Because this forest was in the middle of the continent and all three empires shared land here, there were exactly three portals and each one had as destination the capital city of the three empires.

The feeling traveling this kind of portals is other too. Noah as a person who used constantly portals to go from one point to other felt bad after using this portal. Sabrina and David were even in a worser situation, but luckily a few persons came in carriages and helped them to go the house of the Edelgrade. They were the servants who were waiting for their young masters at their returning.

Now at the Edelgrade House, they are feeling much better and they can now sit rightly.

Noah said then:

"I will never use these demoniac portals again. What thought the creators as they created it, that we are made from stone and unbreakable."

Sabrina replied with proud:

"These are the newest portals and they were created ten years ago. The ones before were only made for magician and knights, if a normal human used it, they would have died. But now even normal human can use it, but they support a little pain to short the travel for a few weeks or even months."

Noah was shocked, he did not think the magic technology was so bad currently. He noticed that the capital Goldberg City was only twice bigger as Lopus Village, that means the population was lesser too. If in the future a village was as big as a city in this time than it means that the future generation did a good job reproducing descendants.
