Chapter 15: Encounters and Coffee Quests

I left the hall, stepping out through the door. Well , here it is . The inner garden . this place has a lot of doors and no signs whatsoever.

" Hey there, Elijah " I turned to identify the caller, finding a unfamiliar guy before me.

I replied " no, my name is James , why are you looking for Elijah ? "

He responded" nevermind. Some business "

Then he took a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. " so James wanna smoke? "

" I didn't know you could smoke in here "

" You can , as long as none of the teachers are watching"

I may not be a soccer player anymore. But I'm not gonna ruin my body . " Thanks , I'll pass "

" It's up to you. Too bad, I don't like to smoke alone " strange guy . 

" So James , can I ask your opinion? "

I replied" Go ahead "

" Don't you think this place could use an upgrade? "

 " depends on what you're talking about. "

" I mean. It's a hell of a place to find something . Not a sign . Not a map. Like the supermarkets. 

I've been going the wrong way all morning looking for the right offices. "

" Yeah , there's that. "

" Luckily, I haven't racked my brain yet. And I've already studied and memorized everything. "

I was a little astonished. " Really, you have , that fast ? "

He answered" of course it is , you don't believe me.? "

" No, why not, I do ...."

" It's easy if you just remember the right places. The room where the morning meeting was held on the track behind me . At the end of the courtyard. 

Well , on the sides is all the fun stuff. On the left is the library and Victoria's classroom. And on the right is the cafe And Sabrina's class. 

By the way. Have you seen Sabrina yet ? Dude , I still have a boner... I wonder if there's anything in the academy rules about student_teacher relations ..." 

"Ring...ring..." His phone ringing interrupted our conversation. He hastily grabbed the phone and started panicking. " Elijah , why is he calling me ? Did I mess up the meeting place? Okay it's important, I have to take this. It was nice talking to you . Good luck . "

" You too" what a weird guy . and what businesses could he possibly have with Elijah? Okay , i don't have the time for that right now. As I heard , the left wing, that's where the library is situated . 

I went to the library. But before I entered. Oh wow . Who's that hottie coming out the door with a stack of book ? And why does she need all these books ? . " ahhh.."

 what's going on ? I think she ...she tripped. Shit I can't catch her In time . She felt down . Poor thing... I have to help her . " Hey , how are you? Is everything okay? "

 She replied " I think so ..."

I knelt down to help her gather her books." let me help you " 

" Don't worry about it . I got it " 

" Come on , it's no big deal . " She turned to grab a book, and her skirt lifted . Ohhhh . Let's consider it a nice bonus to me for coming to the rescue. No wonder she tripped. With those heels. 

" Hey what are you....what are you looking at ? "

" Looking to see if we picked up all the books from the floor . Why ? What were you thinking? "

She blushed and said " just....thanks for your help. I'm so clumsy ...."

" Anybody can be , here , here are your books. Why do you need them anyway? "

She responded" I've promised Victoria to bring new books from the library . Thanks again . Sorry I'm in a hurry ." 

 I can't believe my luck . Are all the students here so pretty? What if she leaves and I never get to meet her ? Shit I need to think of an excuse to call her out.... Oh I know . " Hey ! Excuse me , please . But do you happen to know where Victoria's class is ? "

She turned and responded " of course I do. That's where I'm going . It's that door repair right down the hall. "

" Thanks . "

" Mo problem, see you later "

Fuck James. Where Is Victoria's class? Really? You should've thought of a better reason, dumbass. At least I should've asked her name. 

Okay, no need to get so dramatic . I'm sure I'll have time to get to know her better later. For now i have other things to do. 

Before entering the library, I decided to go to the right wing , Explore the place a bit. Upon reaching there, I noticed a girl standing outside a door.. Look she's angry. I wonder why 

" Ugghhh...goddamn it ! Is it really closed ? This is so annoying. "

Hmmmm, she seems unhappy about something. " Hey, is everything okay? Is there anything I can do to help ? "

She turned to me " uhhh. Are you talking to me? "

 " Well , yeah, There's no one here except you. " 

She glanced down and said. " Oh hey , you heard everything, didn't you? "

I replied " Did I hear you arguing with the door? You bet I did . "

She blushed and said" that's great grace .... It's your second day here , and you're already building a reputation as the local lunatic.

 I'm sorry you had to watch that scene . I just don't like when things don't go according to plan . I wanted to get a cup of coffee before potions class. But the local cafe is closed in the morning. Can you believe it? " 

" Bummer , of course . I'm sorry your plans got disrupted , really . You can stop by leonheart's dorm if you want , we have a coffee machine. "

She smiled and replied" that's a very nice offer . But I wanted to try coffee here. And I don't have time to get there and back before class. I guess I'll have to wait after class . Thanks for the offer, you're cute. "

Well she's nice too " no problem."

" I'm gonna get ready for class , bye bye "

" Bye bye , good luck " it seems that our conversation has cooled her down a bit.

 I didn't think anyone could be so angry about coffee. On the other hand , after all this talk about coffee, I'm craving a cup myself . Too bad the cafe is closed in the morning. I should stop by later. Now, I must head to the library; I've already missed enough time.
