CHAPTER 2

I ready myself, It's Brix wedding, I'm his best man. He already broke up with his girl, and of course he's raging mad. I don't know why he continue marrying that girl if he's not ok with it? what for? he already have a business, his parents can't blackmail him. I wonder why...

Shaun and I argue with the best man thing. He wants to be the best man, but in the end he gave up.

He's childish, well, he's spoiled by his parents that why he acted like that.

When I'm done, I leave my place and go to the parking lot. I need to be there earlier.

While the elevator are going down, my mind fill up with that name, Chanary it is, It has a beautiful meaning. Full Moon.

When the elevator's door opened i immediately walked and go to the parking.

I went near my car and opened the driver's seat. It's a BMW i8 2019 model. It's my favorite car.

I sit at the driver's seat and start the engine of my car and start driving.

His wedding will be held at their Hotel. That bastard marry before me, damn! I want to find her asap.

Then, what will happen if you find her? You will pursue her? what if she have a boyfriend or husband?

I tightened my grip on the steering wheel. I'm hoping that none of that will happened, she really make me crazy, I'm like a fool wasting money to find her.

I arrived immediately at their hotel, I direct my car on the parking lot and parked it there. When I came out of my car, Shaun arrive, He parked his car beside mine.

"Yo! bradeh" he greet me when he came out of his car. I went near him and do a fist bump. "You look good." I praised him that I shouldn't do.

"Hahahaha Small thing, just small thing." He said with a full confidence.

I shooked my head and continue walking, I forgot that he's so boastful. I will make a note next time that i should not praise him more.

After entering the venue, you can see the venue was decorated well, from lights and flowers that hang up in the ceiling. White is their theme. it's simple but they make it elegant.

"Wow! they really prepared everything for a one week preparation." Shaun commented while looking at the place.

Yeah! they make the wedding fast, maybe that's the reason why he's grumpy? I really don't know what happened to their talks, He didn't even told us everything.

"Did you see the face of his bride?" He asked me. I just shooked my head, This is my first time that I will see her face. "No!" I replied.

"What's her name again? I thinks it's Chanary." He said.

I saw Brix talking to one of their investors. when he us, He excused his self and walked toward us.

"Hey!" He greet us and make a fist bump.

"Are you ready to be tied?" Shaun teased him, This bastard really wants to die, asap.

Brix glared at him and didn't answer his question.

Brix excused his self to us when the organizer call him.

After a minute the organizer told us to stand by. I go beside Brix since I'm his best man, I saw Shaun make a faced when my eyes landed on him. pft! childish as usual.

The song was played, I don't know the title but it's a love song, if I didn't know that this is arranged by their parents? I will say that the song is fitted, too bad they don't love each other.

The bride make her entrance, Her wedding dress has a vintage feel similar to Anna Campbell gowns Her gorgeous gown designs are dripping with romanticism. Elegant decorations, airy, flowing materials, and classic forms combine to create old-world beauty.

She walked slowly toward us accompanied by his father, I think?, Even at the far, I can see that she's beautiful. I glance at Brix to see his reaction. Expressionless, That's the expression I can see on him.

He must be really annoyed by the fact that he will a girl he didn't love.

I shooked my head and glance at the bride who's slowly walking toward us, when she's already near us. the moment that she's already in front of us and clearly saw her face, my eyes widened.

What the hell? The girl I'm looking for a year, The girl who makes me crazy is in front of me, marrying my best friend.

I changed my expression when I saw her looked at me. fuck this life.

Brix accompanied her to the altar.

After the wedding ceremony, I quickly to the rest room. I can't stand watching her anymore.

Fuck it, I already see her, but damn she's my best friend's wife, for fuck sake.

I open the faucet and washed up. I felt someone standing beside me.

"What's wrong? I saw your expression a while ago." It's shaun.

I put my hand on the sink and looked at him through the mirror, "It's her." I said.

I saw him frowned and looked at me with a confused on his face.

"That Chanary, Brix's wife is the girl I'm looking for a year now." I explain to him.

A moment of realization then his face looked shocked, "What the hell man?" He said with a tone of disbelief.
