Despite the fact that they had a serious confrontation not very long ago, Natalia seemed to have found peace at the sight of Kiara by her side. Even though she said harsh things to her and even slapped her, the redness of which was still on Kiara's cheek yet she acted like it was nothing. Natalia laid back while she held onto Kiara's hand.
"I am sorry." She whispered with guilt in her tone. The corner of her eyes was shedding tears that had drenched her hair altogether. Her heart was suffocating and her head played the scene of her mother letting go of her for some random man she had met.
