Celestial Wargod, Mays!

"Captain, the demons were retaliating ferociously!"

"Squad three and four were almost done. We couldn't hold out anymore captain!"

"This is suicide. We can't fight them!"

The Wyvern Knight were in disarray after the demonic beings started counterattacking. At first, the demonic beings were ignoring them considering how puny their force was. With good coordination and great teamwork, the knights managed to bring down more than ten demonic beings by themselves. That enraged the demonic beings and they immediately sent out a great amount of demonic beings to kill these knights.

"Do not falter! We humans were not easy prey!"

"Show them the might of human!"

"Yes sir!"

Trying to raise the morale of his knight squad, Captain Romanov kept shouting words of encouragement nonstop. He knew that the moment these people lose their reason to fight, everything would be over. They were clearly outnumbered and outmatched by these demonic beings.

"A little bit more and they will crumble. Tell them to press the attack harder."

"Right away Sir Askoro."

Watching the scene where the wyvern knight got killed one after another despite trying hard to hold back, Askoro smirked in amusement. It was common for demonic being to enjoy human sufferings. After he ordered his minion to kill those human knights, Askoro once again turned his view toward the group of spirits fighting in front of the palace.

"Damia, should we help those humans over there? From the look of it, they would be completely killed if we leave them be."

Erocci who was in the front together with Damia asked casually. Erocci was never the type to care about anything else except those important to her. Damia was different though. Even Erocci knew that Damia was too kind hearted. If possible, she would even try to save her enemy.

"I… I also think we should help them. I guess."

"Master never said not to help those humans either."

"…"

Both Aloha and Mada supported Erocci's suggestion while Silvia silently nodded at it. They all agreed on helping the humans out of their consideration to Damia's kind side.

"Thanks, everyone. Since it was originally my intention to do so, I'll be the one to go. And Mada, can you cover my back?"

"Consider it done."

Nonchalantly replying while killing a flying monkey in front of him, Mada glanced at Damia for a second before he started attacking another flying monkey.

"What about us?"

At the moment, Damia was the appointed leader of this group of spirits. Mays himself decided so. Since Damia was going out from their encirclement to support those humans, it was normal for Erocci to ask her about it.

"Just keep whatever you were doing previously I guess. Master never gave any other orders beside to stick to plan B until master finished his part."

"Ah okies."

"Well then, I'm going now. Chariot's Burst!"

With [Chariot's Burst], Damia rammed through several demonic beings blocking her way before she stopped right in front of the wyvern squad. Chariot's Burst was an advanced version of [Knight's Rush] where the users accelerated forward and covered double the distance in an instant.

Even though [Chariot's Burst] had way longer cool down compared to normal [Knight's Rush], its additional move speed buff for another five minutes was something [Knight's Rush] didn't have. Thanks to that additional move speed buff, knights could even turn the tide of a PVP battle depending on the strategy at hand.

Though they were the proud wyvern squad of the kingdom, their current state was quite horrible. Most of them were wounded while less than ten of them still had their wyvern. The other wyvern were either dead or unable to move anymore because of heavy injuries.

"Ugh… this is the end of the kingdom's wyvern knight I guess."

Captain Romanov who just got stabbed sighed regretfully as he took out the sword from his torso. The owner of the sword had fallen under his sword but the damage he took was without a doubt, fatal. As his line of sight fell onto his squad members, he felt remorse over the fact that he himself led them into their own graveyards.

Captain Romanov tried to move forward, planning to take down at least one more enemy before his last breath.

"Kuhoook!"

Captain Romanov was sent flying several meters away by an attack his sight couldn't even follow. He knew that he got hit at his chest because that part of his body hurts so bad at the moment. It hurts even more than the area which got stabbed previously.

"You're still alive. Such tenacity for a mere human. Are you perhaps one of those so called heroes hurm?"

A lone figure stood in front of Captain Romanov. He was the one who attacked Captain Romanov just now, Askoro. After observing the fight from a far, he came to a conclusion that the only human worthy of his time was just this captain alone. But still, an attack from a silver ranked intermediate boss was indeed too much for a human.

"Well then, goodbye."

With his fist coated by lightning, Askoro once again threw a sonic punch toward the dying human. In his eyes, a human was no different than an insect.

"Bzzs! Bzzs!"

"Ehh?"

Askoro who was sure that his attack would definitely kill the human was shocked. The dying human was no more in his sight and his previous attack landed on the ground, hitting nothing as it produced a small crater with some remnant shockwaves.

"Fuh, safe."

Not too far from his current location stood a female knight who held a human on her shoulder. On closer look, that human was his prey. His former prey who should have been decimated if not because of the interference of this female knight.

Askoro was on standby since the battle started so he never knew that this female knight was actually one of the attacker affiliated with the godkins. The only thing he knew was that his prey was stolen right in front of his eyes. Nobody could ignore something that humiliating, not a prideful demonic being like him for sure.

"Drop dead, humans! Lightning Serpent!"

Shouting loudly as he commenced his attack, Askoro who was well versed in lightning elements art threw a fierce lightning serpent toward Damia. The lightning serpent moved as fast as real lightning, with its ruby red eyes fixed onto Damia.

"Not in my watch, demon! Elemental Break!"

The lightning serpent dispersed into thin air after it touched Damia's shield. The effect of [Elemental Break] was just too advantageous against magic caster. Even the strong level hundred skill would be dispersed if it got blocked. Too bad that skill could only break one elements, not multiples of them at once.

"Damn bitch. You're on!"

"Ugh, what plan should Mira follow now…? Plan A or Plan B or even Plan C? Master told Mira to just kill these demons until master... do what?"

Mira was obviously troubled by the plan suggested by Mays previously. She never was the type to use her brain cell. Even when Mays explained the condition for each plan to them before they commenced the attack, she fell asleep midway.

At the end of the briefing session when Mays asked everyone if they didn't understand any part of the plan, she pretended that she had everything covered. And now, Mira was totally at loss of what to do next.

"Mira can't spoil master's plan. Mira need to know what to do next."

Deep in her own thought, Mira searched for someone who could help her out of her current predicament. Soon enough, she smiled as she noticed the flying Emerald Thorn Dragon not too far from her.

"That's it! Golia should know everything. He looks clever. Hehehe Mira was a genius herself for figuring this out hehe."

The Dark Flame Dragon Emperor flew toward the Emerald Thorn Dragon at its maximum speed after Mira gave the order. As for the demonic beings surrounding the two dragons, they were totally thrown into a disarray at the sudden movement of the flame dragon.

A little bit further from the two dragon were Flamence together with Syaitona and Minerva. Mays was not too far from Flamence, still fighting a losing battle against four gold ranked intermediate boss.

"Urgh! Koff! Koff!"

After one hundred exchange, Mays was finally on the ground, coughing blood. The last attack he took was a direct hit which made him landed on land with a grandiose crater. His four opponents were all in good condition, none suffered a direct hit at all.

"Hahahaha… How the almighty godkin has fallen. Not on your high horse now eh, mister stray godkin?"

Babila was also on the ground, looking down on the injured Mays. They had been fighting for almost an hour and it was now clearly visible how exhausted Mays currently was. As if planning to make the fight looks better, he didn't plan to gang up on Mays any longer. The current Mays couldn't even fight him on equal term anymore for sure.

"Tch, at least I'm still better than someone who beat up others with number."

Clicking his tongue, Mays retorted to Babila sarcastically.

A prideful gold ranked intermediate boss bunched up together just to defeat one godkin. That surely was something shameful, even for demonic being themselves. It was after all a legit fact that a godkin overall abilities was on par with an intermediate boss corresponding to their levels.

"What are you talking about? The fight is between us alone yes?"

Grinning like a maniac, Babila approached Mays who seemed totally exhausted.

"Really?"

"Well of course. For the likes of you, I alone is enough."

Babila leapt toward Mays right after he finished talking. Both his hands were gripping the handle of his lance tightly, maximizing the force exerted for his attack.

"Holy Crescent Exterminator!"

A huge crescent shaped energy burst flew directly toward Mays who was still staggering a few meters away from Babila.

"You know what? You're god damn predictable!"

Mays who seemed to be devoid of will and power just moments ago instantly moved from his previous location and appeared in front of Babila who was full of openings after he executed his attack.

"What? What just happened?!"

Babila was the most shocked at Mays's sudden change. He was sure that Mays was already at wits end, a sitting duck who awaited execution. Never would he had expected that Mays still had other trick up his sleeves.

"Shit happened. Hahahhaha! Blade Dance!"

Mays's dual blade multiplied in mid-air as they showered Babila with countless sword strike nonstop.

"Ugh… Light SantARGGGGHHH!"

"Hahhahaha seriously man… This is too easy! Icy Thunder Slash! Soaring Sword Intent!"

Before Babila managed to set up his defensive barrier, his barrier was shattered from behind by the flying sword from Mays's attack. Following by closely was a thunder clad ice blade and invisible sword slash which landed directly at Babila who failed to defend against those attack.

"Don't bother. I got this."

The other three gold rank intermediate boss were about to join in the fight as they saw how Mays suddenly gained the upper hand but Babila asked them to stay put. His pride wouldn't allow him to ask for help again and again when fighting against just one person.

Babila took several step back before he pointed his palm at Mays's direction. He was focusing his mind as he closed his eyes and stopped moving.

"Ha! Fist of Judgement!"

A straight energy force field flew horizontally from Babila's palm. The force field was quite domineering as it swept everything on its path, allies and enemies alike. Even the earth was scooped in a straight line as a result from that horrifying attack.

Yet again, his attack missed.

"I'm here, dumbass."

Mays was already behind him, with both his sword shone bright red.

"Dual Slash!"

Babila's head were cut off from his body. It all happened in but an instant. In fact, the battle duration between Mays and Babila on land was less than three second. Everything happened way too fast for the other gold ranked intermediate boss to react.

---------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone who was close to Mays in HeavensTale saw Mays right now, they didn't even need to scroll over to verify his IGN. From his perfectly executed skills together with his loud dissing voices, they would know for sure that the person in question was Mays without a doubt.

At the moment, Mays was totally in his gaming mode. For those close enough with Mays to join their voice chat channel, or those who happened to join wars when Mays was still active, they were used to this kind of Mays.

To everyone in HeavensTale, Mays was the wargod. An eccentric hero who challenged every quest head on, pressing forward with an unstoppable momentum. Countless were in awe while many more yearned to be hailed as a hero like he was, as the wargod. But to his close friends, he was the same as any other game freaks.

He lazed around, enjoys gaming and do whatever he wanted like any other normal people do. Obviously, his freakish wild nature would never come to light when he played games. In fact, thanks to gaming, he managed to control his wild nature better. He wouldn't lose himself easily as long as there were nothing that impacted him emotionally.

"So… who is next?"

Confidently, Mays who just beheaded Babila stepped onto the air slowly. One step after another, his figure seemed godly, way too overwhelming for them to contend. On closer look, there were steam of crimson smog surrounding Mays. There were even a transparent halo on top of his head and behind his back were a pair of crimson transparent wings.

Those far away wouldn't be able to recognize those halo and wings as the crimson smog surrounding Mays kept dispersing into optical illusions of ferocious beast one after another, evoking fear upon those watching. Too bad the illusion wings couldn't help him fly.

"Die, godkin!"

One of the three remaining gold rank intermediate boss flew toward Mays who steadily climbed up the air. His mind was clouded with just one intention, to cut Mays to pieces. With just a casual swing of his large spear, a strong gush of wind blew past Mays before the spear itself came.

"Meh, another small fry."

The spear swing cut through empty air as Mays already disappeared leaving only his after image. Next second, Mays once again appeared behind the opponents with both his sword ready to cut off his opponent. The other two were feeling a sense of déjà vu as they watched the same scene happened again in front of their eyes. Another one of their comrade fell just like that.

"Minerva! Come here. We are going to get master!"

"Right away."

At Syaitona sudden shout, Minerva who was in a stalemate against a number of opponents immediately rushed back toward Flamence. The next part of their plan had begun the moment several illusions of ferocious beast appeared in the battlefield.

"These illusions would only last for ten seconds. We need to get master before then."

"Leave it to me. My master would kill me if I failed my part to protect Sir Mays."

The only people who might know what happened to Mays right now was probably the other hidden class players in HeavensTale. The state he was in right now was without a doubt a special state only those hidden class players could initiate.

Celestial Form.

The ultimate from a player could achieve in HeavensTale. A perfect form with nonsensical boost in every stat of the player. A state which boosted a single player fighting prowess, making it on par with a top level insane bosses.

It might sounds extremely awesome for those who never experienced the rumoured form. For Mays and the rest of the hidden class players, this ultimate form was a total joke to them. Not to mention the harsh requirement to unlock the ultimate form, even the effect was nowhere near worth it.

One hundred hit combo. A similar category opponent. No healing. No potions. All four requirement need to be met for this ultimate form. Yet this supposedly invincible form only lasted for a mere ten second. The drawback after entering this state was paralyzed state for a whole five minutes.

There never was a use for this state. Mays himself tried to enter this state back in the game twice but those attempt were proven a total waste. A mere ten second of over boost wouldn't help in defeating any gold ranked insane boss. It was of no use in war either.

"What about you guys? Not joining the fun?"

Provoking the remaining two, Mays stared at them while he kept taking another step forward. One of the gold ranked intermediate boss, a handsome blonde humanoid Pegasus, shrieked before he flew away from Mays. He obviously had lost all his will upon witnessing Mays's overwhelming might.

"One question. What happened to Arkenta?"

The last gold ranked intermediate boss who stood mightily in front of the domineering Mays was Kamara, Arkenta's brother.

"That guy? I behead him myself."

With a smug smile on his face, Mays replied nonchalantly. His eyes was fixated on the only opponent in front of him.

"DIE!! DARKNESS FALL!!"

Kamara flew toward Mays as he shouted out loud with both his hand engulfed by a spherical black orb. He was still in the middle of casting a skill.

"Same old, same old. You people can't improve your AI? Or maybe the AI themselves were tailorted after you guys. Whatever, Elemental Resonance!"

As if pouring all his remaining magic power into his next attack, Mays used his signature move against the charging Kamara. The sky trembled as the space surrounding Mays started cracking. Even Kamara was stopped mid-air as his movement got sealed by the space cracks.

Even before the energy force accumulated to its full potential, Mays already threw it at Kamara with haste. Four heavenly sword swing flew faster than lightning as they slashed through Kamara's body. Like a tofu, Kamara was sliced by all those slashes without any time to react. The might of this slash was obviously way stronger compared to when Mays used it against Ria some time ago, slashing even the earth in the vicinity.

"That's it. I can't even feel my own hand anymore."

Soon after he confirmed that Kamara had turned into pieces of flesh, Mays slumped as all of his power left his body. Without even the power to maintain air step, he fell down from the sky. Both his swords already fell down since he didn't have the power to hold them anymore.

"At least everything went smoothly according to plan heh."
