The Proposal

"Answer it," Koda Rei said after the phone buzzed a few times.

"Yes, Master Koda," Miss Fei replied as she accepted the call and put the phone to her ear. "Hello, this is Koda Rei's Secretary, Fei Ran, speaking. How can I help you?"

Not being able to hear what was being said on the other side of the line, Koda Rei waited patiently with his eyes closed so, he did not see the surprised expression on Miss Fei's face as she lowered the phone to cover the speaker with her hand.

"Master Koda, it's the head of Ye Corporation, Ye Sakura's grandfather. He wishes to speak with you," Miss Fei tried her best to say in a low voice. She really was surprised as she was just talking about him when he called.

"Let me talk to him." He said holding his hand out to receive the phone.

"Yes, Master Koda," Miss Fei replied before handing it over.

"Hello, this is Koda Rei Speaking."

Grandfather Ye's voice could be heard on the other end of the line. "Hello, I'm the head of Ye Corporation. We met yesterday if you remember."

"Oh, yes, of course I do. Again, I would like to apologize about that incident." Koda Rei said going into business mode.

"Oh, it is fine the incident wasn't your fault. Actually, I called you about a different matter. I hope it isn't discourteous of me to ask this after yesterdays events but, you did happen to be the first person I thought of that could help me." Grandfather Ye explained.

"Don't worry about it, ask away," Koda Rei said after his curiosity was peaked.

"Ok then, I will get straight to the point. It's like this…" Grandfather Ye then went on to explain what he wanted to do for his granddaughter and why he decided to ask him.

After listening to Granfather Ye's explanation and realizing which granddaughter he was talking about, Koda Rei got excited as he came up with a plan. Now, if he can convince Grandfather Ye, learning more about the pink haired girl who had the same name as his first love would become a lot easier. So, he then signaled Miss Fei to record the rest of his conversation.

"I see, I see…. Hmmmm…. I think I have an idea on how to help you. I know how the Ye Corporation is a part of almost all the major industries but it has yet to dive into the entertainment industry. How about we change that." Koda Rei exclaimed.

"Change it?" Grandfather Ye Asked.

"Of course, here's my proposal. You create a new sub company called say... Ye Entertainment, and I'll invest in it, as well as, provide some professional staff. All you need to do is hire the remaining positions required. A bonus from creating this company is that you can have your granddaughter take over the company as training after she retires. She would probably have more interest in an entertainment company, no?"

Koda Rei then explained more thoroughly the finer and more advanced details of his proposal to Grandfather Ye. He then answered all of his questions until he became satisfied.

"I am very much interested in your proposal, Mr. Koda. I plan to call for a shareholders meeting in three days to talk about this and I would like it if you could attend. It would be more likely for it to be passed if you are there to explain it yourself."

After discussing the time and location of the shareholders meeting they said their goodbyes and Koda Rei hung up. He had a smile on his face as his plans were going smoothly so far.

"Miss Fei, type up the proposal as I stated it just now to be prepared for the meeting."

"Yes, Master Koda." Fei Ran said before rushing out of the room with a recording pen after retrieving her phone.

If things went to his plan he would be able to get closer to this Ye Sakura girl. He just had to know more about this girl that had the same name has her, the same hair as her, and, if he wasn't wrong, the same aura as her.

Later that day, Ye Yuna was waiting in front of the door to her sister's room. She had been standing there for a few minutes now raising her hand to knock but then stopping herself repeatedly. She was still extremely nervous.

Even though the car accident back then was not her fault, she still felt guilty about it. She believed that if she had not stalled her sister from leaving for the set until the last-minute Sakura would not have been in that accident.

She had held these feelings throughout those two years she was in a coma visiting her every day. She was truly happy when Sakura finally woke up, but that moment she realized her beloved sister had no memory of who she was anymore she was left unable to say a single word to her own sister as the guilt seeped further in.

Today she had decided she needed to fix things, but she did not know how to do so with her sister's amnesia. Therefore, in the end, she went back to her room with her head down, sad that she was unable to even knock.
