When she closed the door, Snow found him standing right behind her.
"What are you doing?" she blinked.
He inched closer, "Why are you so focused on Carol and her department?"
"I thought you said you won't get involved in anything I will be doing?" she looked up at him.
His blue eyes gazed down at her like he was searching for answers in her eyes.
"Am not but Carol isn't someone you want to mess with" he said.
"Ohh, and why is that? She is an employee like everyone else "
Divean breathed. "Yes but also a very important person to the company. She has been doing her job diligently so am confused why you seem to see her as...".
Snow cut him off.
"She is a thief, criminal if I may say " she yelled.
He frowned.
"And why do you say that?" he asked.
Snow looked away not saying anything and tried to push him away.
That was when he grabbed her pinning her hang-up on the door. She glared up at him yelling to let her go.
"Then tell me what I want to know " he breathed.
"Carol might be arrogant but she is good at what she does " he said.
Snow smirked.
"Yeah good at stealing others' ideas. Don't tell .e you never wondered why we always ended up with the same product ideas. But even after you claimed it was yours I always won " she said.
"That was because you had a spy in my company," he said.
"You're that blind or she is so special you decide to turn a blind eye to her actions?" she asked.
Divean frowned, Snow felt him lower her hands as he let go of her.
She breathed pushed him away and walked to his seat taking over it.
Divean turned looking at her.
"What exactly do you know, Constance?" noticing her in his seat.
Snow smiled.
"Everything your sweet Carol has given you guys so far was mine. Stolen by her spy in my company. Not the other way round "
Divean moved to where she was seated, since Snow was in his seat he sat on his desktop.
"Do you have evidence, Constance?" he asked.
"Does Carol do, for as I know so far she didn't even know why her ideas were the way they were "
Divean could see the anger in her eyes, she was telling the truth and he didn't know how he knew but it was what he felt.
"Okay let's follow your plan " he said.
"Really?" she blinked.
He nodded. "I just hope you don't regret it "bending down close to her face.
"I won't " she smiled. "So tell me why you seem to treat her differently?"
He pulled away.
"She is my sister-in-law," he said.
"Huh?" Snow exclaimed getting up.
Divean gave a slight nod.
"You mean she is....she is..." Snow frowned.
"The sister to my wife " he finished.
She fell back in the seat with a pale face.
That meant Carol was her sister....and she had neither recognised her nor treated her like a sibling.
