"Are you okay?" Divean turned to Snow the moment the door of his office closed.
She nodded taking a deep breath.
"I am fine but feel bad too.." she muttered.
"You mean for what you did in there?" he led her down to the seats.
"I should not have done that..".
Divean chuckled.
"They are greedy old businessmen and letting you back into the company wasn't profitable for them " he said.
"Again....you mean your wife used to work here too?" she asked.
He nodded.
"Ahh...then they all know what she looks like. What if am exposed in front of them?" she looked up at him.
He leaned back in his seat.
"That won't happen if you are careful and none of them would dare after you threatened them like that "
Snow breathed. Divean always ignored questions about his wife.
"This is going to be tough " she muttered.
"I never said it was going to be easy " he smiled getting up.
A knock came at the door and his secretary walked in.
"She will take you to your office, in case of anything tell her she will help " he let out.
Snow got up she knew it was time to play her role but was more nervous than ever.
When they left Divean sighed.
....
Everything went smoothly on her first day, she was doing less work than she did in her own company.
"Patty who proposed this idea?" she asked.
"It was the general manager creative department " she answered.
Snow frowned getting up. She told Patty to grab the papers and lead her to the department.
"Can you tell me more about this manager?" she told Patty.
"She has been working here for five years now. And works well with the boss. Her ideas always surpass that of our biggest competitor " said Patty.
Snow frowned.
"You mean the Constance company?"
Patty nodded.
"They always copied our ideas, but she was smarter and made the first move "
Snow smirked. She always came up with all her company ideas but always wondered why the Alexanders took the lead in bringing them to the public.
It seemed there was a spy in her company who sold her ideas to them. She had gotten to the bottom of it but was betrayed before she could make a move.
They reached the department to find them in a meeting.
Snow walked in excusing herself. The whole room fell silent including a slim pretty figure up front.
She seemed to be the chair of the meeting.
"Sorry to interrupt, please go ahead " she said taking a seat.
They knew who she was since the rumours of the boss's wife had already circulated the company.
"You are?" the woman in front asked.
Snow's eyes under her veil moved to the screen where everything was displayed. She frowned noting something familiar on it.
It was her most recent idea for their new launch of a new women's perfume. Nothing had altered it was exactly as she had made it.
The designs, colours and concept of the launch.
She smirked pointing at the screen.
"Please if you don't mind, explain to me how you came up with such a perfect idea?" she asked.
