Chapter 16

Book I Chapter 16

Break Through suppression is a technique used by Sky Law Perception elders to prevent those below them from breaking through in a particular place that might cause great disturbance or destruction.

That is why, when a core disciple would suddenly feels about breaking through, but they are not prepared, they would call a Sky Law Perception elder and ask to delay the process.

Hence, it is called Break Through suppression technique.

But who would have known that they would actually witness such an event inside this place?

It was truly magnificent to see such a mysterious scene where a mere mortal could control such powerful auras.

"Is he really a mortal?" asked a core disciple while looking at Hyuna.

"Pfft… Don't you know him? He is that person who is always with that brat, Il Kwan." Someone replied.

Bin Yihwa and Han Jooho suddenly opened their eyes and showed astonishment. If the two were going to break through in this place, it would indeed cause chaos, especially Bin Yihwa who is now going to form her second elemental law.

As the two stood up, they cupped their hands.

"Sorry for the disturbance… Elders…" Bin Yihwa said politely.

"Sorry… Sorry…" Han Jooho said while cupping his hands and bowing.

But that huge grin on his face betrayed his feelings.

How could he not feel delighted when he a mere Inner Sect disciple was able to actually break through to the Law Perception realm at the young age of 25?

Of course, he is not as good as his crush, who is now going to reach two laws perception.

But being able to reach the Law Perception already qualifies him to be a core disciple.

"You brat! Hahaha… I have not truly wasted my time on you… Hahaha…" Elder Han laughed loudly as he felt a bit proud of his grandson.

Meanwhile, Min Jin-ah could only shake her head as she knew that her Little Jin would be swamped from now on with more work.

Suddenly, the grandfather of Han Jooho stood up and took a small pouch from his spatial tool, and handed it directly to Hyuna's hand.

"Hehe… it may not be much, but I think you will like it…" he said with a grin.

Min Jin-ah was astonished at this gesture as she did not expect that the old man would actually give something to Wu Jin.

"Say thank you to Elder Han… Little Jin." She said as she noticed that the little guy is still in a daze.

"Tha… Thank you… Elder Han." Hyuna cupped her hands.

Weighing the pouch she could tell that they are gold nuggets. Well, in the mind of a cultivator, money is more valuable for a mortal than any other thing.

Hyuna and Madam Il, went back home together while she held his hand.

"Sigh… You are truly a talented individual… I just wished that you could cultivate…" she suddenly said while showing a hint of regret in her eyes.

"Auntie… It's okay… As long as I can be with auntie then it does not matter to me…" Hyuna said childishly.

"Haha… You little boy already knows how to butter up, huh?" she said while ruffling his head.

As the two arrives home, they were greeted by Il Kwan and Il San Joon.

The four had a nice dinner before Hyuna walked back to her old courtyard.

As she arrived near the gate, she noticed a familiar figure leaning on the wall.

"Se… Senior Bin?" he called then quickly cupped her hands.

"Junior Wu… What took you a while to get here?…" she suddenly said feeling a bit impatient.

"I… I had dinner with Master Il and his family."

"Oh? Anyway… I would like to give you this…" she suddenly waved and a 1-meter wooden case appears.

"This is my thanks… I would not have broken through to two law perception realm is not for your guidance…" she explained.

"This…" before Hyuna could say anything… the figure of Bin Yihwa has already vanished.

She carefully opened the case and inside, she saw two long daggers.

Hyuna's heart skipped a beat and quickly enters her courtyard.

She closed the doors of her room and then quickly put the box on her bed.

She then carefully opens the box with twinkling in her eyes. Hyuna could not deny that she is feeling a bit excited when she first saw the dagger.

Now she truly wanted to take them out and feel them.

As her eyes landed on the two beautifully crafted daggers, she could not deny that her heart was stirred. She is truly grateful for what that Senior Sister Bin has given her.

"What marvelous craftsmanship and intricate artistry…" she almost could not believe that such a weapon is actually used for fighting.

"How were these things made…" she muttered as she caresses the side of one of the daggers and feels its surface.

Hyuna did not know that she is smiling like the child that she is right now and feeling a bit overjoyed for receiving something so precious.

She then saw a small letter inside the box.

"Junior brother Jin… What you did for me back then is truly something wonderful… I never thought that I could break through that easily after feeling the sound waves… You truly have opened my eyes, and I know that there is no value in what you did today… But I wanted to give these daggers to you…" she reads then flips to the other side.

"These daggers were given to me by my first teacher as my practice daggers… But I decided to keep them and modify them to be a weapon until I could get a more powerful dharma weapon… Now they will be in your hands… their new master. Take good care of them… P.S. I first killed my…" she reads but then stops as what's written next ruined the mood she is feeling today.

While she admires the daggers, she suddenly noticed that there are tiny inscriptions on the side. Then suddenly stood up and walk closer to the light of the room.

After checking it out, she was amazed.

"So these daggers could actually be controlled using one's spiritual Qi…" she muttered.

However, her expression dropped as she knew that she did not have any spiritual Qi.

Only those that have reached the Spirit Refining realm can use spiritual Qi.

"Well, these are still good daggers…" she muttered then looks at her old dagger.

Though that thing looks small and ugly, it has already killed a fierce beast, so she feels that it would be a waste to throw it away.

She then tilted the dagger and held its hilt.

She carefully unties the wrap of the hilt and exposes the inscription she put in there which would activate using either her blood or another external rune array.

Suddenly, an idea came to her mind but dares not to put it into action.

"No way… My level of rune inscription is not at the level yet… I don't want to ruin these beautiful blades…" she muttered while putting the two daggers back in the box.

That night as she slept, there is a wide smile on her face as she dreamt of something really wonderful.

She is in a forest and harvesting some mushrooms and wild vegetables. She plans to cook something good for someone special.

She suddenly saw the face of her mother calling for her. But she felt weird because she has not seen her for a while now.

She quickly finishes harvesting and then turns around to go to her.

As soon as she did, she suddenly saw two large green wild eyes looking straight at her.

Then she heard a low growl coming deep within the darkness.

She suddenly heard the rustling of the leaves as black snout slowly walks out followed by the row of razor-sharp teeth and the ugly mug of a giant black wolf.

Upon seeing the creature, Hyuna's heart could not help but skip a beat.

She is familiar with that beast because that is the same beast that she had killed before. The limp, stench and every little detail about the beast that she could remember is something she is now seeing in front of her eyes.

"I… I already killed you…" she muttered.

"I… I was even there… I was the one who cooked you…" she added while her voice trembled while pointing at the beast.

"How dare a mere mortal kill me… How dare you kill a fierce beast like me… You should have been to one to die!" the beast suddenly spoke in common language using a deep yet eerie voice.

"No… you… you're not alive! This… this is all just a dream!" she cried.

But she did not know what to do or how to escape this dream.

"Everything has a price… little girl…" the wolf suddenly said.

"What? How… How do you know that!" she was flabbergasted.

How could this thing know that she is a girl?

In her panic, she suddenly runs away from the beast.

But she was not able to escape as the beast suddenly pounces at her drawing its long dark claws.

She felt something hitting her back, and then she could see the long claws of the wolf tearing her body apart.

When she falls to the ground, all she could feel was that warm sensation flowing down her waist.

"No… I… I can't die…" she muttered as she forces herself to stand.

But the pain in her stomach is truly terrible that it is making her so uncomfortable.

She can feel the warm blood flowing down from her waist and then to her leg.

That sensation made her feel so afraid.

Then suddenly, she saw the wolf snapping at her face.

"No!" she cried as she suddenly woke up.
