As Jin was trying to figure out how to use it, suddenly his martial sprite exited his body and exerted an attractive force on viji banner.

Caught off guard the Viji banner slipped out of his hands and flew towards the settingsun god martial sprite.

"WHAT THE HELL?", cursed Jin as jumped and caught the viji banner.

But the attractive force from the martial sprite was too strong. Jin was lifted up in the air along with the viji banner.

"YOU MOTHER FUCKER LET GO", said Jin as he was pulled to 30-meter diameter sun. And soon he and the viji banner was swallowed.

10 seconds later. Jin was spat out of the sun completely unharmed.

"What now", said Jin as he looked at his interface.

Martial sprite level 0 Exp: 0/500 disappeared and was replaced with

"System can you give me an explanation cause I don't get what is going on".

Jin felt it was odd how the system didn't start with a *Ding*.

[All through an accurate definition has not been defined yet a martial sprite is an entity formed out 1000s of years of evolution of humanity absorbing world Qi. They are hereditary. They accelerate the rate at which you absorb world Qi. There are many types of martial sprite in this world. They are classified as, offensive, defensive, control, auxiliary, elemental, and finally growth, in which growth type is the rarest.

Offensive and defensive are self-explanatory.

Control those are those that have binding or movement restricting ability.

Auxiliary type has abilities that help the user either indirectly in battle or help the user in cultivation. For example, a martial sprite that stabilizes emotions, or in your case a buff that raises your level by 6.

Elemental martial sprite is one that controls the elements.

Growth type is the rarest of all the martial sprite. All nongrowth types have fixed level at there awakening and for them increasing the level is almost impossible. While growth types the ability to grow by absorbing world qi, or other treasures. There are 2 drawbacks, one is that these martial sprites need another ability along with the growth ability to fully display there might. The second drawback is that they start at level 0.

Your martial sprite belongs to offensive-auxiliary-elemental-growth type. Now that you have gained powers of the viji banner it can also be called a defensive.]

"The small sun can attack so its offensive, it gives me buff so its auxiliary, it produces sunfire so it's elemental and it can level up by eating river sprites and tressures so its growth", said Jin

"So what use does my martial sprite have other than the sunfire and the buff", asked Jin.

[It can accelerate the speed at with you absorb world qi from the atmosphere higher the level of your martial sprite is the faster you can absorb energy from the atmosphere]

"I already have auto-cultivation and all I need to do is kill so living thing to level up, so why do I need to absorb world qi actively to cultivate", asked Jin.

Sprite eye is sense organ that is needed to sense the presence of world Qi. 49% of the population of the doufang planet are born without sprite eye, making them unable to sense world qi thus making them unable to cultivate.

Before Jin came to Thunderfire sect he lived in a village called Bright Sun village. He lived there for 13 years since his birth. He was happy there playing will the village kids, farming. Jin originally planned to become a farmer too. But all that changed when the disciples of the thunder fire sect arrived.

They gathered all the villagers and tested everyone sprite eye. Out nearly 1600 people only 867 people had sprite eye Jin included.

They then asked all the people who had sprite eye to join the thunder fire sect as servant disciples. Well, to be more accurate they forced them to join the thunder fire sect as servant disciples.

A large organization like thunder fire sect always need workers to do the dirty jobs/ mortal jobs, like cleaning, washing clothes etc.

In older time salves were used to so such jobs. But now slavery is illegal by the law.

There is an interesting story about how slavery was abolished.

The Fire prince of the 230th generation of the Lufu empire fell in love with a slave girl, their love was mutual. But when his father the emperor found out about this he had the girl beheaded. After losing of his lover, the Fire prince went mad and left the Lufu empire. 20 years later he returned as Martial Emperor Level 3. He defeated his father who was a peak Martial King but he did not kill him. He requested his father to pass a law banishing slavery and making minimum wages a must which his father reluctantly complied.

This law was called the Rose law. Named after the girl that the fire prince fell for.

Most sects were infuriated with this law as slaves were in a sense part of there foundation and day to day life.

The sects all gathered together and found a loophole in the law creating a new division called servant disciples division and a point system to pay them as minimum wages were a must now.

So in sort, the 867 people who were taken to the thunder fire sect were just a replacement for the slaves.

Jin suddenly remembered the day they this. But what struck odd to him was most people who had sprite eye their parents also had sprite eye or leat their grandparents had sprite eye. But Jin's parents did not have sprite eye nor did his grandparents.

"System is sprite eye hereditary", asked Jin as a feeling of dread took over him.

[Yes it is]

"Can someone who had no sprite eye posses martial sprite".

[It is almost impossible, as the alleles for sprite eye and martial sprite are interlinked. You could even say that Martial sprites are evolved form of sprite eye.]

In a dejected voice, Jin looked at the sky and said, " Does this means I am adopted".

Although Jin transmigrated from earth he still had the memories and feeling of kinship and love that the old Jin had. Now he has evidence that he is adopted.

His mind was in turmoil as he walked into the dense forest. He did not want to stay here too long as who knows who he had attracted with that loud fight had.

Not far away from where Jin was, Samson and Michal were standing on a branch of a tree wearing a black robe and tiger mask.

"Good thing father threw that rock otherwise Jin might have died in this fight", said Michal.

"Come let's follow him and keep him safe", said Samson.

"Eh... aren't we going introduce ourselves to him, wasn't that part of the plan", asked Michal

Their original plan was to meet up with Jin and explain the situation to him, then give him a fake identity and smuggle him out of Xindra Kingdome to the Zena Kingdome, the neighboring kingdom of Xindra. the Qin family has no power in Zena so they won't act violently there unless they want to cause a diplomatic issue.

"Maby if it was before he ran into the Black Squad members, now I don't think he will trust us, he might think that we are also from the black squad trying to trick him into following us", said Samson.

"Why do we just kidnap him", said Michal.

"You are free to try but remember how he enhanced his level temporarily up to Xantian level 1", said Samson with a smile.

"That...", Michals words caught in his throat.

"Oh did you notice how his current level is houtian level 9", said Samson.

"WHAT!?, he was only a mortal body peak yesterday", said Michal

But when he tried to, the wood got incinerated instantly leaving only ash.

Helpless Jin could only conjure up some sunfire in his palm to illuminate his path, but it drained his stamina at a faster rate. On the plus side is not consuming stamina for auto cultivating 3 techniques at once.

Jin looked at his interface.

While <<Metal Pride>> does not need precious material, but it needs an area rich with Metal Qi. Example of an area rich with metal elemental energy will be metal mines. He figured out rocks contain small traces of metal so he started collecting rocks and boulders and started absorbing metal qi from them, as a result, Jin was able to speed up the process of auto cultivation of <<Metal Pride>> at a fast rate. but the Metal Qi form the rocks only took off like a few minutes so. And the boulders only took off an hour at most, impatient Jin decided to absorb some metal qi from the <True steal sword> he got from the system as a reward.

First of all, he did not know how to use a sword, secondly, he might hurt himself if he used a sword. So Jin thought it was better if he used it enhance <<Metal Pride>>

And took his surprise the metal Qi from the sword was enough to take off 3 days worth of cultivation time. After he fully absorbed all the metal qi form the sword it disintegrated.
