Chapter 28

“Tell you what, I’ll have you read me some poems under the sampaguita, if you give me something.”

“It’ll be a little warm tonight.” Jojo cocked his head. “But, I’ll bite.”

Adam faced Jojo and took a step closer. He expected some resistance as he moved within inches of those lips, but facing none he cradled Jojo’s face with his hand, and then brought Jojo’s mouth to meet his, nipping the corner of Jojo’s lip and then darting his tongue inside. Jojo reciprocated and their breathing became heavier, impatient, and desperate.

“I’ve never brought anyone to my bedroom before,” Jojo whispered as he lunged and kissed Adam again.

Adam moaned. Their kissing was the most pleasurable thing he’d experienced in a long time. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt so alive. Jojo’s kissing ignited him, like electricity hitting a lightning rod.

Jojo pulled away, his eyes still closed when Adam opened his. Adam didn’t want the moment to end. But the smell of food wafted.
