A year later.

Greatworld continent

Capital City, Overworld.

At the palace within the inner chambers where the royal family members slept, a young man with hints of silver white hair on its fringes of his raven black hair, was awaken from a nigthmare.

He felt his chest as he was scared by the sensation of being stabbed by a sword. This nightmare of being stabbed was kept repeating every night on his sleep after he woke up from coma, a year ago.

He was shocked at first when he knew about that he was in coma for three years and the most surprising part was he had no memories on his identity, his family and everything. Even walking was taught to him as he was like a baby after waking up.

He couldn't even understand their language, don't know how to talk, read and write. He was like basically, a baby a year ago but he learned it all in one-go as he was a fast learner.

The doctor diagnosed him with an abnormal kind of amnesia that led him of forgetting even the basic way of living.

Like he was a new person, a reborn.

The Xiu Royal Family took care of him and he was grateful to it and planning to repay them, someday.

But there was someone who was pestering him everyday because she was a member of the royal family that he was thankful with, he couldn't get rid of her.

She was Third Princess Xiu Ying and she claimed that they were lovers. That made him thought in disbelief as he looked at Xiu Ying, she was very beautiful that he couldn't believe having a lover like this.

He just accepted it, numbly even though in his mind, he was vigilant about them. He had no memories so it's natural to have no trust at anyone.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Zero! Are you awake?" A soft and mild voice asked from the other side of the door.

It was Xiu Ying.

"Xiu Ying?"

The third princess opened the door and went in. She was wearing her long dress that was obviously her sleeping wear. The third princess' bedroom was located just beside the young man's room so she could easily take care of the amnesiac young man.

"Just call me Ying," she smiled, tenderly, that made Zero flushed and turned away.

"Y-ying."

"That's better."

Xiu Ying patted the man's head and adoringly looked at him.

"Did you have a nightmare, again?"

"Yes. The usual nightmare."

"Hmm."

Xiu Ying responded in a hum as she continued to caress Zero's head.

It made the young man blushed and awkward.

Zero decided to stand up from his bed that made the third princess removed her hand on his head as the young man was a head taller to Xiu Ying and spoke, "I'm hungry."

"Alright. Do you want to eat here or in the garden?"

"Garden and don't forget my rose tea!" Zero stated with a smile on his face as the third princess, lovingly smiled back and closed the door.

He started to change from his sleeping wear to a white long sleeve shirt when he got a glimpsed of a piece white robe in the closet. It was a robe that he used as he attended a traditional tea party with the royal family, last month.

Xiu Ying chose this white robe for him as she said that it suited him.

He touched the fabric of the white robe and suddenly his head ached from pain, it was like splitting his head.

Zero backed away from the closet and seated himself infront of his desk table while he was massaging his forehead. The episodes of headaches would usually occurred if he felt something familiar or he tried to remember regarding about his identity.

He coincidentally looked at the full-length mirror adjacent to where he was sitting. It reflected his scarlet red eyes. A strange eye color.

After he finished on changing, he folded the sleeves on his shirt up to his forearms.

He combed his hair neatly but still it was messy as he had this untamed hair that would sticked out.

Zero let out a sigh for his raven black hair and played with the silver white fringes of it.

Distracted on his thoughts, a pecking sound from the window snapped him back to reality.

Peck! Peck!

It was a small blue bird that was pecking the window frame. Zero smiled at the small bird's adorableness and opened the window.

The small blue bird went in and landed at his left shoulder, jumping up and down on it. The young man chuckled from its antics and let the bird land on his palm as it was so small that it can fit his palm.

As it landed, Zero finally noticed a small piece of folded paper on its leg being tied to it.

"Oh, you have a piece of paper here. Let me remove it."

He removed it and read the paper.

"Are you not going back, Master? -C."

"Huh?---"

The door suddenly opened as the third princess greeted the young man with a smile.

"Let's eat now at the garden. I finished preparing your food and your tea."

Xiu Ying was now wearing a sundress that had designs of sunflowers on it while she had brought a summer hat with her.

The weather on Greatworld continent was sunny and the heat of sun was not that hot but just right.

"I love sunflowers! Does it fits me?" She twirled around and asked the young man.

"Sunflowers?"

'Where did I see those flowers?'

"Oh, right. You aren't familiar with flowers. Then after we ate our breakfast, I'll tour you around the palace garden so you could see many kinds of lovely flowers."

The smile of the third princess was so bright that was affecting Zero and made him smiled back, too. From his back, he slowly crumbled the small paper on his hand and used a fire basic spell to burn it into ashes.

Xiu Ying didn't see anything strange as she embraced Zero's arm and dragged him out to the garden.

The small blue bird was left there on the table and flew through the window after finishing its task.

At the palace garden.

After they ate breakfast, Xiu Ying grabbed Zero's hand and toured him around the palace garden.

There were various colors of flowers, there were pink, red, white, purple and some were strange colors. But the most sight that caught his attention was a field of sunflowers. It felt familiar.

Suddenly, Zero held onto the young woman as she supported him when he was about to fall, the headache came back again.

"Zero, are you okay?" Xiu Ying asked in worried tone.

"Ying, bring me back at my bedroom."

"Alright---"

Suddenly, Zero fell down as he lost consciousness from the severe headache.

In a panic, the third princess called for the servants to help the young man back. She had teary eyes as she didn't know what happened to him.

"Such a spoiled princess," a tender voice stated behind her.

"Xiu Jia!" The gentle young woman was now glaring at the second princess. It's her wicked half sister.

"What are you playing at, my dear sister?" The second princess asked as she used a handkerchief to cover her smile. She was with her fellow of friends as they smiled, knowingly.

"What play?"

"Don't try to be dumber."

The face of the third princess reddened from anger as she wanted to wipe off that mocking smile of her half-sister with her group of friends.

"We know that you are pretending to be a lover to that amnesiac young man! What is your true goal, my dear sister?"

A friend of the second princess spoke out, "Maybe, she wanted to have that handsome young man for herself in order to avoid being engaged with the first prince of Phoenix continent!"

"Hahaha... First Prince Daigo wouldn't be happy to be compared with that unknown handsome young man!"

They laughed at Xiu Ying that made the third princess to puffed in an anger and turned away. She would be ignoring these hypocrites.

"Wait, my dear sister! Don't forget to attend the banquet next month. It would be good to finally meet the first prince."

Xiu Ying ignored the second princess' statement as she hurried to Zero's bedroom.

----

Unknown location.

It was night time as a small blue bird, finally reached its appointed destination.

A charming man with blonde tied long hair, was on the tree, lying in a carefree manner while whistling. He was swinging his legs and as if he detected something, he put up his hands in order to receive a small blue bird.

The bird perches on him as he gripped it and instantly it vanishes on his hand. He smirked after accumulating an information.

He plummeted down the tall tree and landed with grace infront of his two companions, a woman and a child.

"Degris, is Master okay?" An elegant lady asked the charming man.

"Scarlet, Master isn't coming back yet."

"Why?" Instead Scarlet would answer, the blue haired child with curly hair interrupted.

The blue haired boy with doe ocean blue colored eyes was in an appearance of an eight-year old child as he pouted at the charming man.

"He forgot his identity."

"How is that possible?!" Scarlet exclaimed.

"Time will tell. He'll come back to us."

The three of them disappeared from their spot.
