Unbreakable love: Only one I love

Alex had one goal in life to make enough money so she could give her mother a comfortable life. But her efforts always seemed less fruitful even with her adoptive father and step-sister by her side. "Am not crying, just got something in my eye " Alex sniffed. "Am sorry, here is something that might help" the stranger said passing his handkerchief. "Thank you," she said taking it. After wiping the falling tears she turned to look at the stranger. His long brown hair was moving with the breeze around him as his dark orbs stared down at her. He bent down took his hankie and gently wiped the still falling tears from her eyes, "you missed a spot" he smiled. She smiled remembering that night, it was the day she had met him. Nathan Livingston. The man who claimed to only have eyes for her and soon had proved it.

New Family

Alex seemed more and more anxious as they waited in the living room. Nathan got up, "Let me go check on them, stay here"

She nodded and sat back, Nathan seemed to take long too so she got up and headed to where he had gone.

"I think am lost" she murmured, the place was big with different hallways.

She turned around when she heard voices from one hallway, "Excuse me, can you...." she stopped when her eyes landed on two tall handsome men.

"Sister-in-law" they both called.

She blinked, "Ahh," turning back if it was her they were calling.

"It's Anna but not Anna," one said coming closer.

A hand passed through her long blond hair and frowned, "The hair is the same but the eyes remind me of a brother" The other smiled.

"It's her then there is no doubt about it" the one who called her Anna laughed.

"Am Jonathan and his Jonny, we are your uncles"

They moved both hugging her "Welcome home little Ria"

Pulling away Alex looked up at them, it was her supposed two uncles.

She pulled back further, "Am sorry I was looking for my boyfriend but got lost"

"Ohh, you mean that mean cold Livingston," Uncle Jonathan asked

She nodded.

"He this way let's go little Ria" the one called Jonny said.

each holding her hand they lead her away.

"To actually believe that you were alive all along" Jonathan laughed.

She was quiet listening to them, "Last time we saw her she was just eight months old and now she is a full-grown woman" Jonny smiled.

Suddenly they stopped both staring at her, "You really look like both of them, little Ria"

She smiled shyly, "Am sorry but I don't know you and my name is Alex not Ria "

They both laughed, "It's okay you don't need to apologise and Ria is what we called you instead of Alexandria. It was a long name for us" Jonny said.

"And Alex sounds more of a boy than a girl" Jonathan added.

"Oh..." Alex said.

They moved again and soon where back to the living room.

She could hear Nathan and some other voices, "Don't worry someone will find her and bring her here" she heard them say.

"Nathan" she called the moment she saw his worried face.

He was up and next to her, "Alex" he smiled but then frowned his gaze moving to the two men still holding her hands.

"And you two can you please let go of my girlfriend's hands," he said coldly.

Alex turned to them and they smirked, "Look who is jealous" Jonathan said.

"I never knew I could see this day" Jonny laughed.

Nathan sighed pulling their hands away from hers, Alex moved closer to Nathan and smiled back at them.

"Thank you, Uncle Jonathan and Uncle Jonny"

"Oh God she's so pretty when she smiles" Jonathan smiled widely.

"And she called us Uncle, this is so great I can cry" Jonny laughed proudly.

Nathan glared taking Alex away. "Come here," he said.

Her eyes turned to what he was saying and stopped.

An old couple had been watching her, she could see the resembles of her two new uncles in both of them.

"Grandmother and Grandfather .... Am... home," she said.

"Come closer child," the grandfather said. She could see her grandmother tear up. She walked closer getting down to them.

"It's our little Ria, she's finally back home" the grandmother cried.

Alex held her hand, "Am sorry I took too long" Her eyes stung with tears.

"Your father and mother would be so happy to see you, my dear," her grandfather said.

Her grandmother held her face, "You're a wonderful blend of her parents"

Alex smiled, "So I have heard "

They both laughed as tears fell on their faces. She could see the happiness and sadness in them both.

"Can I hug you both?" she cried

They pulled her in holding Alex so warmly she found herself crying even more.
