CHAPTER 5.1: The Seventh Commander

"Astrella! What is the meaning of this? What are you talking about? It's not even funny that you suggested that kind of thing to me. Andrea is my daughter now, and as her mother, I will not expose her to any danger, no matter what." Celeste angrily walked into a room that is filled with many holy artifacts.

The room is located in Central Heaven, where every saint gathers to pay respect to the Blessed Saint who the Five Gods favor. The Central Heaven is like a castle, but only one person is allowed to live in there, and that would be the Blessed Saint, Astrella Astnhrea.

After the war, saints' magic from all over the Five Lands slowly disappears, and the only saint whose magic is still intact is Astrella. The difference between Astrella and the other saints is that she can talk to the Gods directly whenever and wherever she wants. Although Astella still has her powers, she has lost connection with the Gods. She tried numerous times to contact them, but as a result, nobody answered. For Astrella, this is a sign that something terrible has happened in the Abode of Gods.

The only conclusion she can come up with regarding this problem is that the cause of this is what Cedric and Aria did. It made sense for Astrella because after what happened not too long ago, her connection with the Goddess Aster was severed for no reason.

Astrella was frantic about this sudden change, but then she remembered that before her connection was severed, the Goddess Aster left her a scroll. The inside of the scroll is about the Child of Prophecy, Cedric and Aria's daughter. She was told that she could only help the Child of Prophecy when it is really needed, but she thinks the time is now. Andrea is still an infant and knows it is not a good idea to raise a child to fight, but she has no choice. She will do anything for the sake of all the people in the Five Lands and her beloved Gods.

Astrella stared at Celeste for a second and said, "is it dangerous? Yes, it is, but we have no choice, Celeste. It is her destiny to be the Child of Prophecy, one way or another, she will have to fulfill her role in this world. I, the Blessed Saint, will help her fulfill her destiny faster. So please, let me take care of Andrea from here on out."

Blinded by her mission, Astrella showed no hint of care towards Andrea. She only sees the, in fact, as something she can use for the sake of the Five Lands and the Goddess Aster.

"Andrea is not a tool for you to use, Astrella. Don't cross that line with me. I will not allow you to do this to her. I will make sure that you will not lay a hand on my daughter, and if, by some chance, something happens to her because of you, you should know that I will hunt you down. Be it by blood or not, my daughter always comes first." As soon as Celeste said that, she stormed out of the room, and Astrella was left alone, thinking of a way to get close to Andrea without Celeste knowing.

"This is unbelievable. Did she just choose that child over the sake of her people? Since when did she learn to be a mother? I know for sure that she did not learn that from our mother. She was horrible." It did surprise Astrella that her sister acted like that. Growing up, they have always been taught that emotion is something they should not put first and must always think rationally. Astrella is now guessing that lessons have been completely erased from Celeste's mind.

Astrella shook her head in disappointment at her sister. They should be thinking rationally about the situation they are in right now, but it seems that her sister is not thinking straight because of overwhelming emotions towards Andrea.

"Mother would be very disappointed in you, Sister. Nonetheless, this won't let me down. I will find a way to get in touch with Andrea. Just watch and see."
