Chapter - 6 ( Aftermath of shenanigans)

Third P.O.V

The next day all the elders were up when Michelle got a call from Samantha's mother she was asking for Carina as Samantha is getting cold feet before doing all the rituals. Many of her cousins are there for her but she's asking for Carina and not listening to anyone. As the situation looked a little scary, Michelle didn't give it a second thought and told Samantha's mother that Carina would be going there. Though it was weird to Michelle and Carina Lia understood why Samantha asked for Carina as her words of advice could even change a killer's mind. Without any other thoughts, Carina took out the jeep keys from Xavi and told them that she will be back soon. Wearing a sweatpant, a loose t-shirt with an open hoodie, and her hair in a loose low bun. While Carina rushed over there she didn't care if she looked like a beggar or a model for a sweatpant company. During the traffic time, she could only think that Samantha shouldn't give up on her love no matter what!

Adam's P.O.V

As I woke up I heard a commotion downstairs so I saw my other cousins going downstairs I followed them and saw a huge commotion beside the dining table where Samantha was pacing and our parents were sitting at the table and my sisters were pacing and telling her " Don't worry, Nothing will happen ." "He will love you and they will accept you wholeheartedly. Why are you getting scared? " All these questions and reassurances didn't stop her anxiety and pacing when I saw a very rushed figure running towards her and engulfing her in a tight hug when I further inspected it was none other than Carina. I think she came in a hurry but still, she looked so gorgeous that even my cousin's sister said " How does she look so pretty even with no makeup, sweat pant and just a hoodie with a low loose bun? She looks so flawless like a pretty doll. " I couldn't agree more. Then I heard her say to Samantha " Why are you worrying? If he wanted to leave you, he would have done it way before and not before your wedding! You love him and he loves you! Stop worrying about something that's not going to happen. What's the problem? Doesn't his family members love you? His mother thinks of you as her daughter first and a daughter-in-law later! His brother protects you from anything first than his brother! His father brings sweets for you whenever he has to go to a business meeting out of the city because he knows you love sweets! If his family loves you so much if he loves you so much then why are you scared ?" " Because I am scared that this hidden love marriage turned into arranging without anyone's knowledge will backfire and it will leave both the families in a fight never seen or heard! Samantha blurted out in front of her parents. Not only they were shocked but even Carina was a little baffled and Samantha was too as she didn't realize that her parents were in the same room. When uncle and auntie were approaching Samantha Carina raised her hand to stop them and made Samantha look at her. She hugged her and then kept her hands on Samantha's shoulders and told her " YOU LOVE HIM AND HE LOVES YOU. IF HE DIDN'T LOVE YOU HE WOULDN'T SUGGEST FAKING THIS ARRANGED MARRIAGE THING BECAUSE HE KNEW YOUR PARENTS WOULDN'T ALLOW YOU TO MARRY SOMEONE WITH DIFFERENT RELIGION. NOT ONLY HE MADE HIS PARENTS LOVE YOU BUT HE ALSO MADE THEM AGREE TO SEND AN ALLIANCE TO YOUR HOUSE. IF HE DIDN'T LOVE YOU WHY WOULD HE TAKE THIS RISK ?" She said firmly and then she looked towards auntie and uncle and told them " Uncle, auntie don't worry! They love each other and that's why they lied to you even when they knew that they will be caught they still lied to you! The fact that they lied to everyone for their love proves that not only do they love each other too much they also love you guys so much that's why they wanted your blessings before starting a new chapter in their life. How could they forget the people who brought them into this world? They didn't want you guys to feel that the sacrifices you made for them to go to waste! Their whole life consisted of you guys so how could they leave it for the person they have fallen in love with? That's why they lied to you, but their plan was to share it with you right after their wedding. I guarantee you that they will never get tired of each other and nothing of sort like separation will happen. Please trust your child and her love for Akash and her respect for your upbringing.

Carina's P.O.V

As I explained everything and said my last words I saw Samantha's father coming towards Samantha and hugging her tightly. Trusting her and showing his support, her mother was not left behind as well as she joined after a little bit. Then I looked at Samantha and said " Samantha, you should start with all the rituals and everything like the brother tying your kaleri and the other ritual of your elder sister or sister-in-law warding off the evil eye and the other ritual of you tying the thread to the protector of your life! Then take a breather and go to the beauty parlor with a fresh mind and talk with your cousins and have fun in general " Before I could turn back, auntie told me " Why don't you stay for the rituals and then go to get ready dear? I am sure that Samantha wants to ask you this question herself seeing her face like that !" Hearing this I looked toward Samantha and saw her giving me a puppy face and asking me the question through her eyes. I couldn't refuse and then told auntie that I am going to inform my parents of the change of plans.

" Maa, Samantha here was having a panic attack and when I calmed her down to continue all the rituals she and auntie is insisting I attend the rituals and then come home to get ready for the wedding. Is it okay with you and papa ?" I asked and to which maa replied very enthusiastically for no reason. After being on a call with her I saw her cousins coming toward me with smiles and all. One, in particular, had a weird face which I didn't know why! When they came towards me one started talking " I hope you don't mind clicking pictures in sweatpants with us! I mean all of us cousins decided that we won't dress up for the before-wedding rituals as it's with only the family members and no guests ." The weird-looking girl commented with a high nasal voice " Yeah, it was close family members only but now you are here so ........" Though I didn't want to I felt unwanted so I replied " Ohh I am so sorry for intruding on your family rituals but if auntie hadn't invited me I wouldn't have stayed............" The first girl then said glaring at the weird-looking girl " Don't worry, you weren't intruding at all. In fact, we were happy that Samantha could meet her idol and her inspiration and get her support too! Not only that we are also happy to meet such a talented, beautiful, gorgeous, and alluring person. "
