Chapter - 5 ( Wedding Shenanigans - 3 )
Unknown P.O.V
Today was one of my cousin's Holud nights. I wasn't that thrilled to go but was forced by my parents, But god am I glad that I went. When I was in front of the staircase I saw a very beautiful girl in a yellow sari wearing little to no makeup and some jewelry. Even though she was wearing a flat sandal she was tall with long brown hair. She had this aura around her that I couldn't describe. It was love at first sight for me. I didn't believe in love until the cupid hit me and that too so hard. I guess cupid sent an angel for me because she looked nothing less than one. When I asked my friends about her, nobody knew. It's like she crashed the wedding but looking at her I didn't believe it and nor did anyone else. Before I could think about anything else, Sammy or Samantha called me to her room, It was a little bit strange as we had become distant after I opted to start my own business and left her to complete her education alone. When I reached her room she looked fabulous but not more than the unknown angel.
" You look good but there's someone who looks better than you !" I stated. Even though I didn't mean to be mean to her I was baffled to see her reaction ." Yes I know, She is known other than my Idol CC Carina Costa, Xayden uncle's daughter " " Ohh So that's her name ! the others were thinking she gate crashed your Holud night " I blurted out. She looked at me skeptically and commanded me " Please look after her and make sure she's not going through any trouble. I don't want her first wedding experience after coming from Canada to become horrendous " Listening to her and reassuring her I went outside.
So, she came from Canada! When I went in search of her, I saw her fixing some flower arrangements and standing on top of a stool on the stage ......
Third P.O.V
That certain someone was none other than Adam Rodriguez, the eldest son of the biggest Business tycoon Christopher Rodriguez. He was a man of his word and was very friendly toward everyone. At first, his mother had seen Carina come out of the bride's room. His mother's name is Molly Rodriguez. She was a woman who had exquisite taste in everything and she was a mom who cared deeply for her son. Caring would be an understatement. What Mrs. Rodriguez didn't know was that her son was looking at the same girl himself. After seeing Carina wobble on top of the stool he was going towards her when she screamed and was going to fall off the stage when Adam ran and caught her in his arms. Not only he caught her in his arms, but they both also caught the attention of everyone else, and everyone was worried for Carina as she was going to fall off the stage. " Are you okay miss ?" Adam asked Carina, even if he knew her name he didn't blurt it out for god knows which reason. Carina's family members were there with them consulting her if she suffered any injuries and Simmy's parents were questioning her " Dear, why did you go to fix the flower arrangements, you could have asked someone to do it for you. Did you get hurt? Did you get scratched anywhere ?" Adam was so shocked to see his mother inquire about her injuries and ignore him which was a shocker for Adam.
Carina's P.O.V
As I went upstairs to see the decorations of the Holud night I saw that the upper part of the stage was looking a little weird with the wrong flower arrangements. If Samantha clicks pictures on the stage that would destroy the whole picture, so when I didn't see anyone else noticing the problem, I searched for a stool and when I obtained one, I put the stool on top of the stage and started fixing the flower arrangements without noticing how wobbly the stool was! As I was fixing the placement of the carnations, the stool started moving and without paying any heed to the stool I started moving my feet which resulted in my falling off the stage. I got so scared that I screamed bloody hell in fear of fracturing my leg or injuring myself. I couldn't afford to injure myself, it would mean increasing my stay from 2 months to more than 3 months. I didn't fall! I got saved! How did this miracle happen?
When I looked back, I saw a boy wearing a yellow Punjabi with glasses holding me in his arms. I was flabbergasted and amazed at the same time. He could hold me despite my weight! Only a few people can carry me so it surprised me. As I was being questioned by everyone, I was thinking if I ruined the Holud ceremony for Samantha and Akash. I feared, my accident will put the attention on me but Samantha was also concerned and ran towards me asking about my possible injuries. As I reassured her again and again and then she went towards her room to wait for her arrival before Akash. I could notice eyes on me, I am sure everyone must be making fun of me right now! I went over to the guy who save me and told him " Thank you so much for saving me from the fall . My name is Carina Costa " and brought my hand forward to shake his hands and he started looking towards me weirdly and then.....
Adam's P.O.V
As I saw she had people near her, I went away from there and went towards my mom. " This is the first time you have ignored me when I was involved in an accident. This is so unlikely of you " I told my mom or more a whisper yelled. When she looked at me, she had a face which has when scheming and told me something which shocked me " I have been thinking something if you don't mind me saying but what do you think of the girl you saved? "
" You mean Carina ?" I blurted out and I saw her giving me a smirk I don't know why I was suddenly feeling too hot so I just excused myself and took some fresh air . I saw Carina being acquainted with everyone.
Third P.O.V
As the event goes on, the groom enters the terrace and so does the bride and the whole process of putting turmeric on the bride and groom continues and after they are brought back after being half showered , the both families present dance on behalf of each other which they practiced before . After all the dances are done , the bride stands up from the make shift stage and goes towards Carina with a request . She loudly asks " Sis , I know you can dance very good on bollywood songs and I know you didn't prepare anything but can you please for once dance ? please ? " This request many many of her cousins make noise of excitements and their roars of excitement made Michelle push her daughter to dance and then she went upto the dj and chose a fairly old hindi slow song to dance on and it was " Moh moh ke dhage sung by Monali thakur " . What many people didn't know was that it was Molly Rodriguezs
favourite type of song and she was impressed to say the least . The wonderful inpromtu performance amazed many guests . It kept being praised even when everyone was having dinner and became the talk of that evening . During all this the Costa cousins got to know that Rosanne declined the marriage proposal because the boy had asked a very ridiculous question which Rosanne didn't like at all and at once she had complained to her mother about his behavior which resulted in her mother getting angry at the boy too . This did not settle well and let's justr say that one of the boys in the function didn't leave uninjured . This was taken care of by Xavi and Carina and then all of the Costa family members went to thier house at around 2 am after all the function and all the fun .
