Chapter 9 Alexander

" Oh my gosh! , he looks really, he is so cute "Naina exclaimed,

" Alexander, I will name him Alexander," Brian said with a smile.

" That's a cute name, he looks handsome like his father," Naina said with a smile.

The prophet cleaned Melody and changed her clothes.

" Everything is all set, you should go now before midnight arrives," the Prophet.

The smile that was on Brian's face vanished when reality hit him.

" I will make a call first, " Brian said, but before he could take the phone out of his pocket, the door was pushed open, and Samuel and Maq entered the room.

" We heard a noise coming from this room, what happened?," Maq asked.

" Wait! whose baby is this, did you have a newborn baby, and what is the Prophet doing here? " Samuel asked

" Melody just gave birth," Naina said.

Samuel almost choke his saliva{Cough* cough* Cough* }samuel coughed.

" Mom, are you trying to give me a heart attack, even though I don't have a heart," Samuel said with a frown as he coughed.

" Mom what is this?, don't joke around, please," Maq said as he looked at his mother.

" Unfortunately, I'm not joking," Naina said in a serious tone.

Brian made a call, everything was already set for him to take Melody and the baby to the human town.

" Naina we should get going," Brian said, and turn his back and looked at his two brothers

" No one should know about this, not even a single soul," Brian said and gave the baby to Naina and carried Melody.

" Let's go," Naina said

Both Naina and Brian walked out of the room, heading outside the house.

* Back in the room *

The prophet did not stay for another second, she teleported herself back to her coven.

"What just happened here? " Maq asked.

" I don't know what happened but all I know is, whatever happened here is impossible," Samuel said as he looked at the door.

" If we know what is best for us, we should keep quiet and continue to live our lives as if nothing happened," Maq said.

Both Maq and Samuel looked at each other.

" Aren't we dreaming? " Samuel asked.

"No, we are not, this is real," Maq said like a fool he was not.

It was already afternoon when Brian and Naina reached the human town.

Brian prepared for everything before they reached the human town.

When they arrived at his old apartment, they both got out of the house, Brian carrying Melody and Naina carrying the little Alexander.

They went inside the apartment.

Brian puts Melody on the bed.

" Brian I know this is hard, but we have to do it, this is for the better, " Naina said, patting her son's back.

" It's hurt Naina, I can't do this " Brian said with a teary-eyed.

" Brian, we will find a solution to remove the curse, and you will live with them again, we can't put their lives in danger," Naina said.

Brian knelt at the side of the bed and held Melody's hand.

" Melody, everything that you have now, you worked hard for it, and Alexander, he is your son forget, everything that happened in your life and start and new life, don't ever date any men, I will come back for you, wait for me raising our son, forget everything that happened in your life and start a new life," Brian said holding her hands, he was compelling and her mind to forget everything that happened in her life, he did that cause he knew that she did not have any good memories with her current life.

Both Brian and Naina, with heavy hearts, walked out of the apartment leaving the housemaid to look after the baby.

*** 5 YEARS LATER.

"Mommy wakes up, why are you still sleeping? It's my first day at primary school." The little Alexander called his mom, shaking her body.

" I'm going to wake up, Mommy is not well today, go to the bathroom, I will just come now, " Melody said as she yawned.

" Mommy, what is wrong? Should I call uncle Brian and tell him? " the little Alexander asked

" No! " Melody said as she got off the bed, it was 5 am for God's sake and the little guy was making noise about attending a new school.

" I knew, you were lying to me mom, you just said you are not well, where did you get all the energy to jump off the bed, " the little Alexander asked looking at his mother closely.

" Okay, are you tricking your mother now? , it's too early to prepare for school, go to sleep, I will wake you up when im done preparing for breakfast," Melody, trying to make him go to sleep, he was stubborn as hell.

" No! No! I'm not going to sleep, I will wait until it is time for school and I'm going to call uncle Brian now " the little Alexander stomped his feet and folded his hands on his chest.

" You will not call him, go to sleep right now, that uncle Brian of yours, you've known him for a week but you trust him so much, what if he harms you? " Melody asked.

" Mommy, you are jealous of me, I want to go to school now, " the little Alexander said, as he was about to cry.

" Come here, " Melody said as she opened her arms. The little boy hugged his mom.

" Let's go and make breakfast together, and take a bath, then you can call your uncle Brian, but always know that I don't like him, " Melody said, playing with his hair.

" Yey! I'm going to a new school" little Alexander smiled happily.

Melody prepared breakfast for 3 people because her son insisted on calling his uncle Brian.

It's been 5 years since Melody started living in the apartment with her son. When Brian left her 5 years ago, he also left some money for her. Melody used the money and opened her hotel and restaurants, and she was the CEO of the hotel and the restaurant. " Nice to meet you, Uncle Brian," Melody said as she gave him her hand for handshaking.

" Nice to meet you too " Ms. Melody, Brian said as he looked at Melody, his heart ached when he saw the look of dislike in her eyes.

His 5 years apart from his family were like a living hell on earth, he tried to find a way to remove the course, but it was all a dead end, the councillors forced him to get engaged to Patricia, and he had no choice but to agree with them, his life has been hell on earth, he even became colder than he was before.

" I'm sorry but I have to ask, why are you wearing a mask, " Melody asked, looking at him suspiciously.

" I have a burnt mark on my face, so I'm trying to hide it from everyone. " Brian asked, he was so nervous that she would ask him to take it off.

" Mmmh, I understand, you can take a seat, the food is ready," Melody said as she sat down.
