The day after bidding farewell to Mark and Aunt Bailey, who went to the airport to return to NY, I decided to test my transformation to begin my hunt later that night. I know I won't have all the powers at the beginning, but my passive ability of Perfect Adaptability, will allow me to progress quickly, and I have no doubt that my future potential will be quite high.
Why?
Many may not be familiar with the "Perfect Adaptability" that I requested. This power allows its bearer to adapt perfectly to any type of energy or anything conceivable. For example, if I want to become a wizard, it will be effortless because this ability makes me a "perfect vessel" for any kind of energy, and mana is just one of them.
I only know a little about this ability myself, but I know that it makes me a fast learner passively due to its compatibility with all energies, providing me with enhanced regeneration as well. This will make the connection between my new soul as the "Spirit of Vengeance" and my physical body more seamless, and I do not doubt that my body will become stronger in the coming days.
Standing in front of the mirror in my room, I begin to test my transformation.
And veins of fire begin to form across my face, flames slowly emerging from my skin as intense pain begins to fill me. However, as quickly as the pain starts, it also subsides, and the transformation accelerates. Half of my face becomes a skull with a red eye tinted with shades of orange, while the other side of my face is still changing.
Glancing at my hands covered by black gloves, I clench and unclench them, feeling an incredible power surging within me. Abundant energy fills me, and when I return my gaze to the mirror, I am already completely transformed. The previously incredibly handsome face is now replaced by a flaming skull, with powerful fire forming a mane adorning the entire skull, the flames appearing to be the embodiment of hell itself.
I cannot help but notice something as I analyze my body: "I didn't turn into a walking skeleton; only my head becomes like this, while my body still has 'flesh,' but it's not flesh... It seems to be made of something very hard and resilient, as if I have scales instead of skin," I say while admiring myself.
A bark catches my attention, and I look at Sirius, who is giving me a strange look. I swear I saw in his eyes, "What on earth are you doing in front of the mirror?"
I give a smile, which might be quite peculiar since... I am a floating skull? "What? Every man has dreamed of this at some point; an animal like you wouldn't understand, especially one without... you know what," I speak with a voice that doesn't seem to be mine.
Sirius seems offended, and then he barks and lifts one of his legs, and then I see... two balls? Oh!
Sirius looks at me provocatively, and I can sense his thoughts: "I got some toys too, you idiot." Tsk tsk.
I look at him and say, "By the way, show me your new form, I want to see how you turned out."
And then he barks and gets up from the floor where he was lying before, and slowly, my dog transforms. Sirius is now a Hellhound, a powerful and terrifying creature with glossy black fur like midnight. His eyes, once serene and friendly, now shine with intense ruby red, reflecting his supernatural nature.
His pointed ears stand erect, alert, and vigilant, while his broad and powerful snout exhales hot steam from his nostrils. He has sharp fangs that are visible when he opens his mouth in a threatening growl.
Sirius' paws are strong and robust, capable of moving swiftly and with agility. His claws are sharp as blades and can easily tear apart any opponent who dares to face him.
An aura of fire and shadows seems to envelop him, creating a sinister effect that can scare even the bravest. He exudes a sense of power and authority, making it clear that he is a supernatural creature and not just an ordinary dog.
Despite his terrifying appearance, Sirius still holds a strong bond with Damian. His eyes reflect loyalty and trust toward his master, and he is ready to protect him with his life.
I let out an impressed whistle as I see how he turned out. I crouch down to him, running my hand over his fur, and say, "You look amazing, boy. Tonight's hunt is going to be incredible!" I say with a wicked grin on my face, formed by a combination of a skull and flames.
Sirius lets out a powerful growl, agreeing with his master.

After testing my new form for a while and realizing that I can transform at will now, without the delay I experienced during the first transformation, I notice something. In my basic form, I could already sense people's sins, but when transformed, it's even stronger. I had to use my Perfect Adaptability to handle it, as it is an overwhelming force.
Another intriguing ability is my connection to souls. I can feel and see the spirits still trapped in this world. It was quite strange to witness a couple walking hand in hand and chatting on the street, while they were ghosts. I wonder what keeps them bound to this realm?
Putting that aside, after dressing up and realizing that my wardrobe is filled with standard Ghost Rider outfits – or clothes for a motorcycle enthusiast and a powerful Supernatural fan – I can't help but think, "Seems like this is my new style... Not that I'm complaining, I quite like it. Too bad it was too hot where I used to live, so I never dared to wear this kind of clothing before."
Heading downstairs, I see Sirius waiting at the door to the garage. I open the garage door and crouch down to speak to him, running my hands through his thick and soft fur. "It's time, boy. Let's hunt," I say.
Sirius barks in response and then transforms, becoming invisible. I can feel him sniffing the air and seeking out our target. According to my plan, we'll first find one of the five targets, Austin Foster, a 39-year-old negotiator for the Crimson Hawks gang.
Sirius emits a small growl, indicating he's found the target, and then he darts out of the garage at a remarkable speed. I can sense his anticipation for what's about to happen, and I'm sure he's eager to hunt down some trash.
So I turn my attention back to my car, a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, the same model used in Fast and Furious (image in the auxiliary chapter). Running my hand over the car's surface, I can feel the connection we share. This car is directly linked to the Hell Charge; it carries its soul within. Even if I use other vehicles, this is the true form of the Hell Charge.
Entering the car, I speak to it, "Let's go, girl. Time to ride." Starting the engine, I can feel the immense power it holds – an extremely powerful engine that fortunately doesn't require any additional modifications. If I want to transform it into a GTR in the future, I can make it happen. If I want it to become a Quinjet? Yes, that too.
Starting the engine, I leave the garage and begin to accelerate, following Sirius' route, even though he's already far ahead. Thanks to our connection, I can feel him anywhere.
It doesn't take long for him to signal that he's located, Austin Foster. He is responsible for negotiations with the buyers. My grandfather had connections in the police force, old comrades-in-arms, who provided him with some information. Austin is probably the only one who knows the location of the other four and dares to venture out like this.
Because he is the one with the best connections to sell his products. Gripping the steering wheel tightly, I begin to transform, and the Charger follows suit, transforming into the Hell Charge. Powerful flames erupt from the hood, demonic details form on the body, and its wheels become fiery, giving it a highly menacing appearance.
Simultaneously, perhaps due to my intense emotions about what I am about to do, I unlock a new ability. Chains form on both arms. And the Hell Charge, intoxicated with its master's emotions, gains even more speed, accelerating forcefully towards the location. Leaving behind trails of flames on the asphalt.

I wonder what you would think of a fanfic where the MC transmigrates to Sasuke right after he kills Orochimaru? with perfect adaptability? I'm not going to do it now, I just want to know what you think. and of course, sakura would be his wife still, I like her a lot :p
