Serum Galore Chp 4

(This is the place,) I thought while looking at the family that should be adopting Billy sometime soon

I look at them having dinner and I bite down the feeling of jealousy as I look at their smiling faces before I sigh as I let the feeling go

No matter how much I wish I had something similar

I sigh as I think back to the people who adopted me

They were killed during an attack by Starro when they went over to Metropolis

I barely managed to get myself emancipated

Not that I wasn't angry, I definitely was but at this point what can I do

I can't bring them back to life, yet

I look back to the house and walk away from it after I spot a camouflaged drone on top of it to spot anyone who comes in or out

I sigh as I walk over to my home glancing at the house next to the Vasquez family

"Do it soon," I order through my communicator

I ordered the Red Queen to make the family next to them suffer an 'accident' once it is appropriate

Do I feel bad that I just ordered a family to be killed, yes

Will I change my mind no

It is something that I have accepted

If I want to survive long enough I need to do stuff like this

Once I get to my home I go downstairs where I have a small lab set up to finish the NZT-Soldier Serum

The entire basement is surrounded by metal walls and the outer layer of the room of the metal sheets is lead to prevent Kryptonians or beings like them from peeking in on chance

The NZT-Soldier Serum is a massive pain in the ass that is for sure but once I start getting people on my side that need just that little push to be great

It is nearly complete but the sheer fact that it allows someone's mind to reach superhuman levels, combined with the boost from the Super Soldier Serum, makes it all worth it

People have said that humans only use 10% of their brain which is false since everyone throughout the day uses 100% of their brain during their day

In reality, we do use 100% of it, however, we don't always use it at 100% in all situations, some situations only require we use a tiny portion of our brain power

Like breathing, it takes so little that we do it without thinking throughout our day

If we play puzzle games and focus on it we see the difference, as we may use something like at least 40% at most if it is a puzzle that we are seeing for the first time

As we keep focusing on it we gradually begin using more of our brain power until we start using all of it

However, this is just a safety measure, as it is the case of the muscles humans can theoretically lift from 20 to 25 tons if the safety measures on the muscles go away however, this will cause muscles to tear up

If humans use 100% of their brain every second of the day we would start to notice the side effects that are shown in the Limitless movie and the show

The brain can't handle being used to its limit every single day

At least, not the regular, average human brain

The humans from the world of Limitless have been shown to be able to use the NZT pill for much longer without showing any effects compared to the humans from Dawn of the Dead

Yes, I have been experimenting on people from those worlds

Moving on, according to the records that I have of the humans from Subnautica is that they would be able to use the NZT pill for years without showing any side effects

I am able to use it for at least months if I don't up the doses of the pills like Eddie did

I wanted to go to beat the shit out of Eddie Morra when he upped the dosage of the pill

It does absolutely nothing

Just one pill is enough for a day

Sure, it will last longer however, the brain is already at its limit, he is still human which is why the person starts going through seizures

Using NZT in a syringe is actually much more effective as it lasts for at least 2 to 3 days and it is much safer than when it is in a pill

Now the Super Soldier Serum is a whole lot more different than NZT

The Super Soldier Serum affects stuff right down to the DNA

I have no idea why Steve Rogers in some comics was turned back into a walking stick

The Serum essentially upgrades everything on the human body

Liver, kidneys, eyes, ears, and of course the brain, but the effects on the brain take much longer to settle so that the user is not overwhelmed, it does upgrade the brain initially in order to handle everything else going on in the body, once the rest of the body is finished, the brain upgrades is then upgraded

Abraham Erskine was an absolute genius when he made the last version of the serum

I still wonder how he managed to make it without using human subjects until Steve Rogers

He managed to make a serum that not only makes anyone who uses it reach their peak physical condition but also be able to somehow, as was shown in the movies grow even stronger

I have some ideas as to how he was able to make it but something that intrigues me is how it affected a Steve Rogers who became the Sorcerer Supreme in an alternate universe

The Serum affects every single aspect of a being, that Steve Rogers managed to become a 'master' of magic, nowhere near Doctor Strange, not even close, but at least someone who can throw hands using magic

The Serum affects EVERYTHING which is why when compared to the NZT is so different

Not only will it increase my brainpower but also be a permanent thing so that I can use my brain all of the time, hopefully

I sigh in frustration

I am piggybacking far too much on the knowledge of the serums that I have and even then I haven't gone through all of them yet

Some serums are better than the Super Soldier Serum in the beginning however, they lose out on the effect to better someone over time

Some are straight-up garbage

Why the hell would I need a serum that gives someone permanent erectile dysfunction or one that gives someone many types of cancer?

I may be a villain in progress but there are lines that I won't cross

#1 MONTH TIME SKIP IN HQVERSE#

"Ok, this is weird," I say coming out of the Vita-Ray chamber after using the completed NZT-Soldier Serum

"Can't say it doesn't feel nice," I say while moving around a bit feeling much stronger than before

After a few days of testing, I find out that most of the enhancements are noticeable however, my mental enhancements are a bit more subtle but still noticeable

I am thinking a lot faster, and now I can feel the information in my head organizing itself as if my brain was packaging its in a neat box for me to use

I grab a cement block and crush it easily in my hands

#2 MONTHS LATER#

"I can take care of myself," I watch Billy arrive at the Vasquez house and argue with his new foster parents

To be honest, I would have loved to be with him and keep a closer eye on the situation

I don't necessarily need the powers of Shazam however, when a champion is on the Rock Of Eternity, they can teleport themselves to other places around the universe, even other dimensions

There are places on Earth that I want to go for artifacts that will be useful to me

For example, I can probably teleport myself to the place where Hawkman and Hawkgirl keep their stuff so that I can get more Nth Metal

If not I can probably go over to their homeworld or any other planet with a decent amount of Nth Metal on it and take as much as I can

Not only that, but it may also give me a clue as to how to find out more about the universe

For that, I need access to the Rock Of Eternity
