Grandpa Chen
Qin Zhan appeared at her door half an hour after she was ready.
Gu Xin Ye brought along her bag, knowing that they would be checking out of the hotel soon. Noticing her belongings, Qin Zhan grabbed her small bag and helped her to carry it.
"Where are we going?" Gu Xin Ye asked. "Are we going to have breakfast first, or see your grandpa first?"
"Are you hungry?"
Gu Xin Ye shook her head. "Not really. I ate some biscuits that the hotel had provided."
Qin Zhan pulled out his phone and tapped his finger on the screen. "Then, let me check with Sister Chen first. If Grandpa is asleep, we shall go to breakfast first."
Gu Xin Ye naturally did not have any opinion. She watched as Qin Zhan lowered his phone and asked, "How is your grandpa? Is he feeling better?"
"Mhm... Now that he is awake, the doctor has high hopes for his recovery. If everything goes well, he might be able to return to his hometown soon."
