Truck-kun Ran Me Over: Reincarnated in a Magical World!

Jeremy, an unassuming otaku whose mundane existence takes an unexpected turn when he meets an untimely end under the wheels of a truck. To his bewilderment, Jeremy awakens in a parallel world reminiscent of Earth, yet with a fascinating blend of advanced technology, magic, and the intricate discipline of martial arts. Rechristened as Li Tian, he finds himself born into a distinguished Martial Clan in The Land of Hua. Determined to stay off the stereotypical path of anime protagonists, Li Tian resolves to lead a tranquil life as a background character, basking in the protective embrace of his newfound family. Little does he know that his rebirth comes with extraordinary gifts—an SSS tier Intelligence Stat and a mysterious system that adds a layer of complexity to his seemingly ordinary existence. Beyond the grandeur of dominant nations lies an unexplored terrain fraught with peril—the domain of Demonic Beasts. In stark contrast to the structured societies of major countries, these wild expanses harbor creatures driven by instinct, launching indiscriminate attacks on unsuspecting humans. Look forward to Li Tian's quest for serenity, as he grapples not only with the complexities of his newfound abilities but also contends with the ever-present threat posed by these relentless adversaries. "If you let me go, I'll tell you who was the one who made me send the beavers to your team. I promise I won't lie!"

"Ah? Isn't it just Jiu Lian Xiang? Why do I need you to tell me who it is?"

"Ho…How did you know?" This time, Jing Tie Ba knew he was screwed. His life was no longer in his hand. Although he was a Qi Refinement Realm cultivator, facing ten Rank 3 Iron-toothed Beavers at once was too many even for Jiu Lian Xiang, the strongest in the school.

"I'm sure Jiu Lian Xiang is just happily sipping on his tea in his makeshift hammock, while you are slogging your ass around doing things for him." Li Tian slid his butt closer to the hanging student. Li Tian got closer to Jing Tie Ba. He lower his hand to his neck slowly as he flared Origin Energy towards his right fingertips. "Slitting your throat right now is as easy as slicing up tofu. Do you understand the situation you are in now?"

"Wh..What can I d…do for you?" Jing Tie Ba swallowed his saliva. He couldn't help but stutter as he asked the boy who had full control of his life.

"Simple." Li Tian bent down and got closer to Jing Tie Ba's ear. He whispered into it, "As long as you listen to my every command until the end of the "Survival of the Fittest" examination, I will let you go free. Or else, you can say good bye to your puny life."

Jing Tie Ba gulped down on his saliva again.

"Unlike Jiu Lian Xiang, I actually wield real power in the Li Clan. A simple command by me and I could ask for your life to be taken away. Just. Like. That." On 'that', Li Tian snapped his finger which made the scar-faced boy flinch in fear.

"Oh? And even if I do not make use of my family, I could easily kill you myself." He pointed at the Iron-toothed Beavers on the ground. "Take a look below you."

Li Tian made a finger gun with his right hand. With an instantaneous release of converted Origin Energy into Wind Qi, he fired a Wind Bullet. A translucent cone-shaped object blasted forth towards one of the Iron-toothed Beavers head.

Tchi. A clean bullet wound appear on the forehead of one of the Demonic Beasts. It fell to the ground soon after without a noise coming out of it anymore. Li Tian looked at the other nine beavers as he exploded his Origin Energy out of his body. The situation was similar to when he fought his teacher Jun Wang for the first time. The white ghastly aura intimidated the nine Rank 3 Demonic Beasts. With a single word, "Leave", the beavers scurried away in panic.

Jing Tie Ba who had seen the true might of Li Tian wanted to run away just like those beavers. He knew that whatever he did now would determine whether he would live to see another day.

"I…I'm sorry, Young Master Li! I should never have offended you! This lowly me will listen to anything you say! I'll do anything you ask me to do!" Jing Tie Ba begged with his hands together.

"Alright, alright. Don't say that I'm not magnanimous. I'll let you go this time." Li Tian smiled in satisfaction. He easily lifted Jing Tie Ba up to sit on the branch with him.

"Thank you, Young Master Li! Really, thank you!" Jing Tie Ba tried to kiss Li Tian's hand, but what swiftly rejected by Li Tian. "What can I do for you right now?"

"Well, right now, all you have to do is pretend that you did not have such an exchange with me and that those beavers were successfully chased away by a passer-by teacher. Continue to stay close to Jiu Lian Xiang and do not reveal my strength to him. Or else…"

Before Li Tian could threaten Jing Tie Ba again, the scar-faced teen quickly agreed to his ever instruction. "Young Master Li, I swear on my ancestors and my parents that I, Jing Tie Ba, will never betray Young Master Li. I will carry out everything you ask me to do without hesitation! Or else, I will get struck by lightning and you can send me to the depths of hell!"

"Good good." Li Tian was happy with what he saw. This lackey of Jiu Lian Xiang now belonged to him. From now on, it would be easier to keep track of what he had plans of doing. "You may head back now. If there is any news related to me, you can report to me secretly. If not, I'll come looking for you if I need something from you."

"Understood, Young Master Li." Jing Tie Ba nodded obediently.

"Alright, goodbye for now." In a blink of an eye, Li Tian disappeared in front of Jing Tie Ba. It was only then Jing Tie Ba could breathe a sigh of relief. In his heart, he reassured that he would never block the path of the young master from the Li Clan again.

Melding into the darkness, Jing Tie Ba left back to his old bosses' lair.

On the way back to his destroyed base, Li Tian soon bumped into his teammates who seemed to have come looking for him. Behind them looked to be a teacher. The group must've explained what had happened with the beavers.

"Li Tian, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? Where are the Iron-toothed Beavers?" Hong Yao and Kong Huo Yu asked Li Tian as they checked his body for injuries. Lin Xi Xi also had a worried expression on her face.

"I'm fine, really. I'm really fast, so not before long, I had managed to lose the beavers." Everyone finally relaxed when they heard that Li Tian was not injured.

"Since you students are okay, I shall leave now. Take care." The teacher did not wait around any longer and disappeared in thin air.
