The Darkest Hour

Coming out of the portal I was on top of a building overlooking the beauty of Moscow. My Identity in this world is the owner of an Automobile Company. According to the plot the protagonists of this world should have just arrived in Moscow and are on the way to a company building where the person they partnered with will cheat them and throw them out.

I flew down the side of the building where there are no people. Opening the system shop menu I looked through it and found that I was looking for a vehicle that can work on a Tesseract energy cell. I bought this vehicle as when the aliens descend due to their electrical field all electronic devices and engines that are on the surface get short-circuited. Only those that are underground or protected energy sources like nuclear power vehicles are left in working condition.

Summoning the SUV I got in and opened the energy source compartment and installed the Tesseract energy battery cell and closed it. Then I powered on the engine which was smooth even more smoother than an electric vehicle. I drove to the company where I could find the protagonists. By the time I reached the company, there was already a cab waiting for people to come out. I remembered that the driver was the one who picked up the protagonists and waited. Knowing that they are already in the building I parked my car and went inside.

With my vision and hearing I easily found them being observed by security. I went up to them and introduced myself to them and told them that I would like to discuss some business. At first, they doubted me but agreed to listen to my business proposal. We went into a cafeteria in the building and ordered three coffee and some snacks with them. Then I told about my company's expansion into the service sector by providing online booking for transportation and with the addition of their application which would make the development much faster. After half an hour of discussion we made the deal and to sign the contracts I took them with me to my company and signed it. After that, I introduced them to my technical team and made sure that they will stay at the company tonight so they will not be meeting with the female protagonists.

Leaving the company it was already getting dark I went home and had a shower before going to the club where I could find the female leads. The power shutdown in Moscow was strange so people went out to see what was happening and observed the strange phenomena happening in the sky. Some felt it was amazing but they didn't know what they felt amazing was the aliens that are descending. One alien descended in front of the police car as in the movie and shredded the cop into dust who had tried to touch the alien. This caused pain in all the people and everyone rushed wherever they could to find a place to hide. I took all the girls and pulled them with me into the club and closed the door after everyone alive came in. I moved back knowing the alien will blast the door breaking the glass filled with water on both sides of the door to break which will cause an electric shock once the alien touches it. The bartender tried to stop that thing by throwing some molotov cocktail but after a few attacks that thing rotated its current flow in a circular form like it was charging up and released an energy blast at the waiter cutting off his arm and also destroying the wall behind him. This led to the people in the bar to again rile up and tried to escape. Tess wanted to escape through the back door and pulled my hand to go that side. But knowing the plot I pulled her back to me and moved behind the bar and into the storage room and told the girls to get down to the basement after three of them entered I closed the door behind me locked it and stood there for some time to make sure that no one comes in.

After a few minutes the screams outside stopped so I went down the stairs. The girls were terrified and sitting on the floor hugging each other afraid of what would happen to them. I moved forward and hug them tightly and sat with them and assured them that they would be fine. After an hour the girls calmed down. Natalie and were hugging my arms from both sides while Tess was in front of me sitting in my lap leaning her back on my chest with my hands wrapped around her waist. I felt the power was good and from the amount of energy a single blast used each energy cell could fire 100 rounds.

I used my vision to find the aliens and flew out to them and tried out my weapon on one of them. The moment the energy blast connected with their electric shield it ripped it apart like paper and blew up the alien to pieces. I like how easy it was and killed the aliens at that location and flew to the location where the group that helped the male leads set their camp. Seeing me approaching them flying they all pointed their guns at me but I didn't find it offensive and talked with their leader and gave him a set of 10 energy rifles and a box full of energy cells containing about 1000 energy cells. I explained to them how they are used and showed them a demo of killing an alien that was trying to get there. Seeing the power of the guns the leader expressed his thanks and I flew away to the apartment where the electrician was. When I came to the apartment the girl Vika was already there and to my surprise, Sean and Ben were there it seems the plot has corrected itself. So I put on a mask and knocked on the main door. Vika came to open the door with Sean so without wasting time I entered the room and closed the door properly. Then I mentioned their names and explained to them about the aliens and how to deal with them and gave them four guns and four bags filled with energy cells each containing a 50. After that, I left and came to the submarine and told the same and gave them 50 guns and 100 boxes full of energy cells with each box containing 1000 energy cells, and also told them of the survivors and their locations. With that I flew back into the sky disappearing from their view and left the world.
