Falling into his own trap

Meanwhile in Jembu, Lord Johnson was very confident of his new plan to save his kingdom. He met his father and told him taht if they could get the influence any one of the commanders, they can save their kingdom.

He asked his father King Philip to set up a royal dinner and invite all the commanders of Ardania. He wanted to send invitation letter stating that the dinner is for discussion of peace. He also called upon his neighbouring Kingdoms to the dinner.He was sure that he will be able to get a loophole.

At that night, in the dinner table, King Philip explained his wife and daughters that the royal dinner for peace discussion is going to happen. Focussing on his daughters, he demanded everyone to exhibit their best behaviours. Kikiyo's eyes accidentally met her brother's, She saw him grin. Kikiyo moved from the table excusing herself and started to think.

Next day, Ardania received invitation for the royal dinner. He was summoned by his father immediately.

Lord William said,"What are they trying to do? What do they have in mind? Are they expecting a big empire will abide to their foolish request?

Lord Scott told his father," We should go father and see what they have planned for us. It will be fun. Let the war declaration be on hold father. I have a better way now to save her now."

Lord William asked worriedly,"Are you going to kidnap her or is she going to run away with you?"

Lord Scott's lips turned slightly upwards with a grin on his face. He replied," She doesn't know that I love her father. She will not come with me and I won't kidnap her." He thought to himself, " You will fall into your own trap Jembu".
