Forgotten Promise

Lord Scott said calmly, " I know you forgot the promise father. I asked you two things. Number One is that my wife is my choice. You will agree to my marriage irrespective of the one I choose to marry. Number Two. I have all authorities to declare a war to extend the country's northern border since the northern region is in my control."

Lord William remembered his words and became silent. He thought for a while and dismissed the younger prince. Later in the evening he once again called for the young prince. He advised his son to reconsider his decision. Lord Scott smiled and told his father that his decision is very important for this moment of time.

Knowing that his son is stubborn and unable to argue further, he asked him to state the reason for the sudden decision after ten years of peace in the country. Lord Scott replied," Because the woman I love is in trouble and needs my help."

Lord William said," There is always a another way Scott. Declaring a war is a tough decision. We need to sacrifice so many men and resources. I give you tonight to think of a another way. Come back tomorrow with a alternative. If you don't find any , we can plan accordingly"
