Training Pokemon

For a while I have read over all the cut and paste concepts on the Pokemon world trying to make the host strong as well as his Pokemon using the gamer system. I understand it's a dangerous world and you want to give the MC extra plot Armour. I thought about this and realized that the host would rarely fight in matters that needed strength except in situations that dealt with Legendaries. If that becomes par for course though in the story. What's the point of making this a long term novel that deals with the growth of a character. I would've set this as a short novel that deals with an overpowered MC that one shots all situations that need it. Also I wish to point out that Pokémon have sentience. The world also has abundant food with berries being around and the things that happen in Pokedex's in the games, I'm gonna try to stay partially away from as this is rated at a rating lower than 18+. (That's mostly because I find cursing unnecessarily to be just plain bad etiquette. I can understand if it happens when something bad occurs and you can't control your mouth. But flippant use of them just to annoy people is just that. Annoying...) The original story is also about friendship, journeying, and finding a purpose in the world they're in with their friends. Sabrina, Dawn, and May deal with contests. While Ash, and Iris love battling. Brock even finds a purpose on his journey as a breeder fully going into the field instead of just pursuing it as a side hobby like before when he had to take care of his brothers. As such I find it, while not useless for writing. A complete disappointment and withdrawal from the nature of what this world represents. What with hope and friendship being these main parts, and if you're fighting every creature you meet into submission. How is it possible for you to truly bond beyond servant and subject. Another thing is inside this story I will not limit the host to having 6 Pokemon on his being. No this would only apply to gyms or competitions as these kinds of things would require a more formal structure. I have decided on a new idea for this system that instead focuses on the Pokemon themselves. This includes knowledge, buffs, items and so on. The system will be less of a RPG stat layout directly as this still exists. But the stats come from training with the other stuff like others would train in a real world. The exception being Buffs. He can also use the system to build a utopia for his Pokemon. He can even slow down the time inside to gain larger training time later on for specific species which grow slower like Ninetails or various Ghost Pokemon. Enough of this Synopsis and rant though and on to the story. Ps. It's obvious, but I don't own this image. So I take no credit for it. And if someone eventually would like to make an image for this story I will thank you. Sincerely. PPS: Comments help me keep my want to write. When I notice there's not a lot of comments. I second guess my writing, like a lot. Probably for a good reason as I know I like to over analyze things, and I KNOW that's gonna influence my writing. I can see it deeply ingrained. So if you guys like my style please comment.

Chapter 28-Finishing My Shopping

Looking through the store I knew I had 220 points left to use. First I decided to get some medical skill or something. Tapping in the Word Heal on a search bar that was located in the store of my system. I noticed an interesting one. It was called Burning Injuries. What it did was take the Aura of fire based Pokemon and used it to remove injured cells and replace them with new ones. This meant it had the amazing effect of removing physical scars. Checking out its price I bought it for 200 Points.

Smiling I used the last twenty points to buy a wide variety of treats for my Pokemon. Pulling out a few Moomoo Ice creams I handed one to each of my Pokemon except for Emblaze who I pulled out a red pepper for. As we walked through the forest we enjoyed our treats finally making it to Pewter city. This place would be where I officially started my journey.

After a couple of hours of looking around I finally found a place to stay, and I rented a room to relax in. After a couple minutes of just that and getting all my stuff put away inside the place I brought my Pokemon, and left for the Pokemon center. Once more I got lost as I explored the city and it's beautiful, well rockfulness. In fact most of the monuments in the city's were nothing but giant rocks that had different shapes.

As I was starting to have fun trying to figure out how people thought around here I started to wonder something. Was the reason no contest was ever held in Pewter City their rock solid, rock loving nature? Wondering about their interesting culture I finally found the Pokemon center. Funnily enough I had found the Gym first on my journey here, but I didn't want to risk my Pokemon's well being.

Frankly it seemed almost impossible for me to find where I needed to go without already knowing the general direction. I guess I didn't gain any hidden abilities of direction from my reincarnation. I had assumed originally I had, what with finding my old clearing in the woods as well as the city easily. In fact I happened to have just found an abandoned dojo one day before which I later claimed thanks to the system.

Going inside I found once more an identical nurse waiting for my every medical need. Handing her my Pokeballs I smiled as I realized I was trusting more than I had ever used to. Getting a seat I decided to take a call with the Professor. I wanted to talk with him to see if I could learn anything new that I could use to help train my Pokemon. After my call got through I smiled as I explained that I wasn't here for Hexnya unless it was ready itself. Obviously it wasn't ready, and that's why I had said such a thing even if it was mean on my part.

Sitting down I explained how I wished to know if their was any information on how to take care of Charmanders. Then I asked if he knew how to take care of Charmeleons. That however seemed to cause him to stop and ask me if I had seen the new evolution of Charmander going around. That obviously stopped me in my tracks. Started to sweat I asked him all about this "new" species of Pokemon. Taking his time he told me everything he knew. Afterwards he asked me an important question "Hey Lazaro, I need you to help me with something. Would you be willing to?" Replying with the obvious I said "Depends if it's something I can help you with."

"That would be great. Well in reality its part of two different things. First I need to be on the look out for a good possible starter Pokemon we could use. Now that Chamander is no longer a basic three evolution Pokemon it is no longer suitable as a starter. This means I need to find a new one to replace the future choice of getting a Charmander into something else as soon as possible so everyone's helping me with this task. The second one is easier. If your Charmander evolves into it's new side species could I ask that you bring it back so we could run some basic tests on it. We of course won't go trough any tests that require the Pokemon to experience pain."

Hearing the block of information I took a second to process the sheer magnitude of what he was asking me. After taking it all in I nodded my head in accent. " Yeah Professor that's completely alright as long as you let me come back with my partner. He was the first one I could call close to me, so I would appreciate being there with him." Understanding where I was coming from the Old man smiled, seeing me in better mental health than I had been previously. Deciding that whatever was going on was working he allowed the request. As such that was how I made a future promise that would guide my future into one that would change the world.
