Seven Deadly Sins

Kang-Joon's eyes widened, he tilted his head as confusion washed over him.

"About what?"

Out of nowhere, a green glow blossomed from Mammon's body. Kang-Joon's eyes widened, he looked down and saw that his whole body began to tremble.

"What are you doing?"

Mammon took a deep breath as he calmed himself down. He stared deep into Kang-Joon's eyes as the green glow started to disappear.

"I need your help."

Kang-Joon took a few quick breaths, his eyes narrowed as the feeling of fear escaped his body.

"With what?"

Mammon looked down at the table and sighed a deep breath.

"It has to do with the incarnations of the seven deadly sins. They are one of the most powerful beings in this world, some are even stronger than the outer gods that rule the tower."

Kang-Joon's mouth fell open. His eyes narrowed as he began to get lost in thought.

"The incarnation of the seven deadly sins? What are you talking about?"

"The seven deadly sins are envy, greed, gluttony, sloth, pride, lust, and wrath. As you know, I, Mammon, am the incarnation of greed. Meaning that there are others like me that have their own different type of power."

Kang-Joon slightly tilted his head as confusion washed over him. His lips straightened as he raised his hands and let it rest on the chair's rails.

"Okay, so? What do you need my help with?"

Mammon pushed his chair and rose to his feet. He looked deep into Kang-Joon's eyes as he stood upright.

"There's a dimension where all of the sins, including me, was our home. I had a little bit of a conflict with the incarnation of gluttony, Beelzebub, and I killed him as my patience got the best of me. The rest of the sins found out that I killed him and they forced me off the dimension and promised that one day they'll get revenge."

Kang-Joon pushed his chair away and stood up. He looked at the bright sky that surrounded Mammon's domain as he took a deep breath.

"What's the problem now, then? Are they here?"

Mammon nodded, he looked away and walked out of the shade. He stared at the vast field of grass that seemed as if it extended infinitely.

"Yes, they are. For some reason, this place has some strange forcefield that won't allow us to enter in our own form, that's the reason why I had to find a medium for my power and it just so happened to be you."

Kang-Joon's eyes widened, a sense of disbelief washed over him as he nodded at Mammon.

"Wait, so that mean's there's 5 other people that have gotten powers from any one of the five sins out there?"

Mammon nodded. He stared at Kang-Joon deeply into his eyes as the sunlight casts a shadow upon them.

"Yes, and I believe that at this moment in time, they are using these people as a way to find me and get that revenge that they so want. That's why I need your help. Get stronger. The stronger you are, the more I can give you my powers and the powers of gluttony that I received when I killed Beelzebub."

Kang-Joon slowly nodded although his eyes narrowed as he looked towards Mammon.

"What would happen if I'm not strong enough?"

Mammon took a deep breath and sighed.

"Well, there's a high chance that your home, Earth, will turn into ruins and with my powers, I would most likely die after I kill a few of the sins.."

"Alright, I understand."

Kang-Joon continuously moved his head up and down as he took a large breath, calming himself down. Mammon raised his hands and put it on Kang-Joon's shoulder as a smile appeared on his lips.

"Alright then, let's not waste anymore time."

Snap!

Mammon suddenly vanished into thin air. Kang-Joon turned his head around relentlessly as he stared at his surroundings. Out of nowhere, the grass field started to break apart and the darkness that Kang-Joon saw appeared once again.

*Shit! What's going on.*

A dim light emerged from the darkness as Kang-Joon slowly opened his eyes. 

"These are... goblins?"

Kang-Joon looked around and found himself beside gobins that lay lifeless with daggers on their hand.

"Ah, I guess Mammon did save me."

Kang-Joon looked down and saw that his wounds disappeared.

"How did I-"

All of the sudden, Kang-Joon's eyes widened. He put his hands beside him and pushed himself upwards as he rose on his feet. 

"The mission, did I fail? System Window, missions."

The system window materialized infront of him, it's dark glow shone upon Kang-Joon's body, revealing the massive amount of green blood that stained his clothes.

Kang-Joon's eyes widened as he glanced through the panel infront of him that soon disappeared.

"23 minutes? How has it already been 23 hours already."

Kang-Joon took a deep breath as he contemplated about the remaining time shown in the panel. He started to walk back and forth, stepping on the deceased goblins, as he pondered the discussion he had with Mammon.

"If what Mammon said was true, then I can't waste anymore time."

All of the sudden, the system window appeared once again, casting it's dark glow.

"Huh?"

Kang-Joon's eyes narrowed, his mouth fell open as disbelief washed over him.

"Mammon... this is your doing isn't it."

Kang-Joon raised his finger and closed the system panel infront of him. He crouched and got on his knees as he reached for his daggers on the floor.

"Hah, I've been given such a golden opportunity, I can't waste it."

Kang-Joon stood up and held the daggers on his hand. He stared at the dark hallway infront of him as a smile appeared on his lips.

KKEEEEEEK

A loud screech echoed throughout the hallway, getting louder as moments went on.

"Alright, let's do this."

All of the sudden, a horde of goblins appeared from the hallway and charged towards Kang-Joon.

Kang-Joon swiftly dashed through the horde of goblins. Adrenaline rushed through every part of Kang-Joon's body as he started to laugh.

"Haha... this is so exhilarating."

Green blood splattered all over Kang-Joon's face as he slashed through the goblin's throat.

Kang-Joon looked around him as he gasped for air. He crouched with his knees and sat down on the body of a deceased goblin.

"That was fun."

All of the sudden, the system window appeared infront of him, illuminating the room with it's dark glow.
