Lucia

The woman was stunning. That was just the simplest way to say it. But there were some problems that I quickly encountered about the woman. 

"Ahh!"

Yelled the woman as I just got my hands closed to her hands to remove it.

"What did you do?!"

"I just wanted to remove her hand close to me."

"Ah! Sorry."

The woman backed off and sat on her own legs and laid her head low.

"What's wrong young lady?"

"HMMM."

"What did you do again!"

"I was just trying to talk to her!"

I punched Yuri on the face to shut him up for a second.

As the young lady was sitting on the ground in a position that I was trying to remember. Then I realized that her position was the position of a woman being abused, I know it, I don't know why though.

Then I looked behind her and I heard the laughter of three men.

"Hahahaha!"

Yuri stood up and looked at those three dead in the eyes. 

"Bastards."

"Do you know them?"

"No, but their eyes are definitely just the eyes of evil."

I looked at them, when they realized we finally saw them they just continued laughing like they did nothing wrong. But as I looked more into their eyes there was only one thing I could think of.

'Everyone is like that... eyes filled with so much sadness and emptiness.'

Yuri tapped me on my back and told me.

"Can I kill them?"

"Well..."

Once again my heart was starting to raise and burn once more. And so I couldn't help but smile. When the three saw me, I just thought they got scared that's why they stopped laughing.

Yuri and I started to walk towards the three as I dragged the woman with us.

"Ahhh!"

"Is that really..."

Yuri said before he just stopped as he looked at me.

"What are you two going to do? We're not scared of you!"

Said by one of the men.

I didn't listen to him and let go of the woman. I didn't hesitate at all and ripped my skin apart and pulled my bone out once more.

'I didn't think I'll be using a bone as a weapon once again this soon'

I ran to the three and smashed the head of one of the three as I caught them off guard. The two then started running as I chased the other one and kicked him I stabbed my bone that was not even sharpened to his heart.

I immediately started to look for the other one, but it seems like I didn't have to worry about that guy.

"You're a monster Alfred."

"Shut up."

As Yuri grabbed the last and I grabbed the one I just stabbed in the heart, the one I smacked in the head was still down. Only a couple seconds passed and so we grabbed all three and tied them.

"How do we even tie them together?"

Asked by Yuri.

"How else?"

I grabbed one of the arms of one of the guys and ripped a hole from his skin and took out his forearm bones and gave it to Yuri. I did it once more to the other guy and gave it again to Yuri, then I tied the hands of the two, as long as the existing piece of body part was still not destroyed it wouldn't heal from the inside, but instead try to take the existing one back.

"AGHHHHH!!"

But as Yuri had the bones they could do nothing about it. And so I tied all their arms together and completed a loop of tying them all together to form a circle.

"What the fuck."

Said by Yuri.

"You're a psychopath!"

Said by one of the three guys.

The one sleeping then woke up and felt pain as his hands were tightly tied together.

"AHHHHH!"

"Nice to meet you three, I am just a wandering man and this is my partner."

"Hello I'm Yuri, his name-"

I used the bone of one of the three and striked Yuri with it. I then brought the woman in front of them and made them admit what they had done.

But before I could even ask, there were already so many people inside the crater and we were making a lot of ruckus which made people watch us.

"Well i'll hurry this up, did you rape her?"

"What!"

"We didn't do that!"

"She was just really scared of people so we forced her to talk to strangers to see how she would react."

The young lady was in a state of fear not from the three guys but from me.

"Look at her, she's so scared of you now hahahaha!"

Said by Yuri.

"Ummm, hello, my name is Yuri, what's yours?"

The young lady was sitting on the floor and at her adventure to look at Yuri in the eyes, there was a slight blockage of a wall that made her more scared of Yuri than me which made her attach herself to me like a lich on my legs.

"I told you, get that thing down."

"Ahhh!"

Yuri ran wherever he wanted and I looked at the young lady.

"You've been abused before haven't you. What's your name?"

"L- L- Luc- ia."

"Lucia, what an innocent name, don't worry now that my friend likes you, I'll protect you from now on."

Yuri came running back and yelled at me.

"I heard that! That's not true!"

I ignored him and sat awkwardly as she was holding onto me, but then she let go when she saw I was going to sit down.

"How old are you?"

"18."

"Make sense now, well Lucia, you're in another world now, and now, I'll protect you, no one will ever hurt you again."

"I'll protect you too!"

"But do keep in mind, you're an immortal you know, if you want to live a life in this hell, you have to be able to endure the pain. Can you do that?"

"Yep!"

She smiled and blushed. I then stood up and made her stand up too. Now that we were done with that little of a detour, we could finally begin what we were really supposed to do here.

"Let's go up for now."

Said by Yuri.

"What? I thought you wanted to see what that was."

It wasn't really hidden at all. Just a couple seconds of walking was in the middle of the crater. It was a box with 4 doors at each side. It was eye catching as it was perfectly placed in the middle.

Many people had already gone inside and so did I when I saw people go in.

"Well, we can't really bring Lucia with us can we?"

"What?"

Yuri then ripped his arm and ate it.

"She's still not ready."

I then realized what he was trying to say. I got out of hand and just promised this young lady that I would protect her in a world where you are immortal. But at the same time she was nowhere near our level of well sanity. We were not insane, but based on the current scenario, she definitely has yet to truly fully adapt to what has already happened.

"And it doesn't matter what's inside that door, we can just go there another time. I know we're the only ones who can do it."

"What?"

"You're too old, I read a lot of manwha's I know what a tower is old man."

"I'm not old!"

"You're 43!"

"I'm 87 days old!"

As I argued with Yuri I held the hands of Lucia which made Yuri hold her hands too and so we walked to the edge of the crater and started to climb it.

After climbing for a while we saw how hard Lucia was struggling.

I never really climbed before myself, but the crater wasn't that steep to make it that hard.

"I'll help her."

"You just told me she wasn't ready."

"Fine!"

It took much longer than actually goin down and so a day passed as indicated by the sun at the sky and the moon. There was finally a way to tell how much time has passed.

We reached the top and we waited for Lucia to climb up to. As we waited I told Yuri something.

"Let's start."

"Really?"

"It's boring what else do you want."

It was about something Yuri once told me as we dug our way out of the stomach of the beast.

***61st day.

"Do you know what a tower is?"

Asked by Yuri.

"No."

"Well did you know as an Immortal we have so much opportunity to get stronger."

"..."

I listened to his stories as there was not really anything to do at the stomach.

Yuri told stories on how he dreamed of being able to be an immortal to give a piece of his tissue to his sister when she was at her deathbed. He so didn't want to lose her last real family member that he just started thinking so stupidly on what if they were just immortal. He didn't care about living forever as long as it was with his sister.

But that was just where that started, after he read some fictional stories, it made him think of ways on how if you could infinitely heal you could train your body to the extreme with no problem at all. To gain the ability to not feel pain, to have indestructible body, to be absurdly strong.

And to just put it simply, to exercise for so long you don't even stop at all.

I believed all what he said as it was just all normal basic common sense. A human gains muscles and strength due to the stress a muscle gains and so to prevent it, it makes its form much stronger to prevent these stresses and damages. That means the more you injure yourself, when you heal you get stronger. 

The only human downside of body building is that protein is needed to heal the body faster and efficiently, but an immortal can heal instantly.

"Hello Lucia! Take these!"

I threw her some clothes which were just two pieces of leaves for her chest and lower part.

"Umm what are you guys doing?"

When Lucia saw us we were doing multiple exercises at once, it was a more extreme version of what Yuri called a Burpee.

"This is what we were doing."

Yuri stopped and flexed his 6 pack. I too was surprised that it didn't even take that long to get a six pack nor any muscles at all. But what he called a burpee was not really helpful. In reality we weren't even doing burpee's to get those muscles.

A couple minutes ago.

"She's almost here! Do what I do!"

"What?"

"Well, breaking our bones and bodies doesn't look cool!"

And so Yuri told me to just follow what he was doing called an extreme version of a burpee.

When in reality we were just breaking our body to infinitely make us stronger.

"Oh... well ok."

Said by Lucia.

"Well then Lucia, do you want to do what we were doing?"

"A burpee?"

"Oh you know that!?"

Yelled by Yuri.

"No, this."

I picked up my bone that I dug to the ground so I could have it be immobilized so that I can regenerate my bone from the inside.

I then batted Yuri in the stomach.

"That's how you get a six pack."
