Chapter 7: Max hands out the invitations

Max wakes up today like every other day had his bath and dressed up and remembered the invitations and asked his mother " Mum, is the invitations ready because it's today am sharing them to my classmates."

She replied "Yes."

Max asked "Where are the invitations."

She replied "They are inside my room."

Max asked "Mum, did you get any presents for me for my birthday."

She replied "Maybe."

Max said "Please tell me."

She replied "It can be a yes or a no it's just a matter of time so you have to wait."

After what Max's mother told him Max was angry because he wanted to know if his parents got him a present then he went to her room to get the invitations and saw the invitations on her bed and he picked it up and put it inside his school bag and he carried his food for school from his mother after that Max went to the driver then the driver carried Max to school and when Max got to school his friends asked him

Moses asked "Max are the invitations ready?"

Max replied "Yes."

Elliot asked "Where are they."

Max replied "They are in my bag."

Moses said "What are you waiting for, Are you not going to give me and Elliot now."

Max replied "I am waiting for everybody to come so I can share it all at once."

Elliot pleaded "Please give it to us now."

Max answered "No."

Moses asked "At least can we see it."

Max replied angrily "Why must you guys see it now!"

Elliot asked "Max, why are you getting angry."

Max calms him self and replied

"My birthday is very close and my mother and father said that they did not buy a present for me so they only decorated the house."

Moses asked "Even if your parents are not going to give you any presents other people will."

Max replied "I know other people will give me but from everybody it's supposed to be my parents."

Elliot said "I'm sure they are going to give you presents you just have to wait."

Max replied "That is what my mother said but your still right."

Moses asked "So Max can we see the invitations."

Max replied "Sure, let me bring it out of my bag."

Max brings out the invitations and gave one to Elliot and gave another to Moses then they started looking at it and when they were done Moses asked Max "Can we please take it now."

Max replied "Okay."

Before Max friends could put the Invitations in their bag they rang the bell for assembly so Elliot and Moses put the Invitations in their pockets and went to assembly with Max in the assembly they told them about the competition that they are not doing it in the school.

So the principal told everybody the place where they were doing it and that they should come by 8'o clock if they don't want to miss the race.

The principal also told them that the preparation for the competition is finished after he was done telling the students they marched to their class and when Max got to his class he waited for everybody to come then class started and they copied a lot of notes then when it got to break time Max stopped everybody from going outside and he gave everybody the invitations and said that their parents were invited.

After that Max allowed the people in his class to go outside and have their break

Then Max ate his own food and when he was done he invited some of the teachers and he also invited the principal and the vice principal.

But when he gave the vice principal he said "Max I will not be able to come for your birthday."

Max asked "Why."

The vice principal replied "I will be busy that day."

Max asked "Is it the whole day that you will be busy."

Vice principal replied "Yes, The whole day."

Max said "Okay, I understand."

Max carried the invitation card from him and goes to his class and was talking to his friends before they rang the bell for break over the teacher came and taught them then after that subject the next teacher taught Max class they later rang the bell for closing and Max went out and saw the limo then Max entered the limo and when the driver took him home he told the mother everything that he did in school then Max had his dinner and watch tv and read for twenty minutes and he went to his bed but Max was thinking about the race then later he started sleeping.
