Chapter 6: Max signs up for the competition

When Max woke up in the morning he dressed up and got ready for school and he entered the limo but his mother did not cook food so he asked her and she told him "That she did not wake up early."

He replied "Okay."

But the thing that Max didn't know is that the mother stayed up all night printing the invitations so she couldn't sleep well.So his father gave him some money and he entered inside the limo and the car drove off.

Few minutes later he arrived at school and he came so early that assembly has not even started then he remembered that he came early to hear what they will say in the assembly about the competition.

Then he went to class and dropped his bag and he did not see his friends so he went to buy snacks as he was walking he thought about the competition.

Later when he came back to his class he said "I have made up my mind I am signing up for the competition."

His friends came and said "Good morning Max

He replied "Good morning guys."

Elliot asked "Are you guys joining the competition."

Moses replied "No."

Max asked "Why."

Moses replied "I am not a fast runner so if I join I will lose."

Max said "Okay, I'm joining the competition how about you Elliot."

Elliot replied "No."

"But why are both of you not joining." Max asked

Elliot replied "I want to join but you can run faster than me so it will be a waste of time."

Max said "Okay."

Max went to the assembly and stayed in his line and waited till they rang the bell then the principal came and said that the people for the competition will come to the school during break time so stay in class for a little while if you want to sign up and I hope a lot of you are ready to sign. Some of the students replied yes and the principal said that's great and left then they went to their different classes and in Max class they started copying notes they had Basic technology then french and the last subject before break was biology then the bell rang and everybody that were going to sign for the competition stayed in class while the rest went out and the competition hired enough people to go from class to class then one man came to the class and asked them if they wanted to sign and they replied yes and he from sit to sit and gave them to sign and Max did the same so after all of them were done signing the man went out of the class and submitted the paper were they all signed and the people in the class started eating and when Max was done eating he went to go and meet his friends outside and told them that he signed.

And they said okay. Minutes later they rang the bell for break over so Max and his friends did first to enter the class so they ran and Max gaped them and reached the class first followed by Elliot then Moses then they continued the subject they have after break till they closed then Max told his mother what he did about the competition then he got home.
