The deerwolf instantly jumped up, dodging the attack right as it was about to get hit.

After dodging and landing on the ground, the deerwolf looked directly towards the attacked and spotted a giant centipede monster that was big as deerwolf and was long as a snake.

The unknown centipede monster possess a greyish shell while also posses numerous number of jet black colored legs as well as a pair of blade like scythe fangs sticking out from its mouth.

(There is no mistaking it. Those weird scythe like fangs are the things that left that mark here and on that tree.)

(THIS IS THE FUCKER THAT ALMOST KILLED ME AFTER I REINCARNATED!)

The deerwolf unleashed a barrage of powerful sharp leaves at the centipede that were enchanted with many skills.

However, the centipede didn't tried dodging the attack and took the attack head on.

The leaves barrage hit the centipede, however there as right next to no damage. Only scratches appeared on the centipede shell.

(Fuck me! That shell is a straight up an armor!)

(Fuck! I guess I have no choice but to use claws and fangs.)

The centipede monster suddenly made move after the leaves barrage had stopped.

It quickly rushed at the deerwolf and tried slashing it with its scythe fangs, but the deerwolf quickly dodged the attack and retaliated with a stomp in the head.

The deerwolf quickly got away from the centipede monster after successfully landing a counter.

(Fuck! I felt the impact and I can tell it did damage, but it did not do much!)

(Damn. I can deal some damage to it, but the question is: What kind of tricks this thing has?)

(It isn't stupid, so I have to watch out for any weird movement.)

The deerwolf tried creating a distance between the two, but suddenly the centipede monster began spitting something at the deerwolf.

The deerwolf quickly dodged the attack, not letting unknown substance to touch him.

The weird greenish yellow substance hit the grass nearby and immediately the grass began getting destroyed upon a hit.

(This fucker can spit acid!?)

However, the attack just now was distraction.

The centipede monster used this chance to quickly close the distance, but the deerwolf sensed the monster mana and dodged the attack, making the centipede miss the deerwolf and accidently hit the tree instead.

(Fuck me! He almost got me!)

(Its just like before, its mana reappear after its first attack. But I don't know when its mana would disappear again.)

The deerwolf looked behind at the tree that was hit by accidently by centipede monster fangs.

(Fuck me. That accidental hit left a nasty mark on the tree.)

(The only way I can see killing it, would be to either: Hit its head over and over again until cracks or try to make an opening between its body parts. I saw some small holes on its shell between parts of its body.)

(Honestly, either approaches are dangerousness.)

(Since if I chose A, then I will have to be wary of those fangs scythes and acid. And I chose B, then I don't know how much damage it can take until it dies, meaning the fight may end up prolonging for long.)

(This thing is also a freaking monster, so there is a lot of "IFS" that may happened or not. But I don't have time to worry about every god dammed one until I see one.)

The centipede monster once again rushed at the deerwolf and tried to slash it with its scythe fangs, but once again the deerwolf dodged the attack and retaliated with bite attack to the side, that ended up piercing the centipede armor.

The centipede monster tried shaking off the deerwolf, but suddenly the deerwolf willingly let go of the monster.

(Oh no you fuking don't! You wanted to slam me against the ground and pin me down!)

(I don't know how much damage I can endure from that guy direct attack, so its better to not getting hit, AT ALL!)

(Still, I was able to deal damage to that bastard. Not a fatal wound, but it did damage.)

(But fuck me!)

(Even one mistake and I'm dead!)

(I'm only slightly faster than this thing, so if I don't react in time: DEAD.)

(I'm fuking drenched in sweat just from stress alone!)

This time the one who made the move first was the deerwolf.

The deerwolf unleashed a storm of leaves at the centipede.

However, the centipede wasn't bothered by the attack once again and tried charging through it, but then it realized that the amount of leaves was so big that it ended up losing the sight of the deerwolf the moment it moved.

"?!"

Before the centipede monster realized, the deerwolf stomped its head with full power from above, piddling the monster head against the ground.

(DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!)

The deerwolf began hitting over and over the centipede monster in the head, not letting it get up, but suddenly the deerwolf was hit by the centipede monster lower half, pushing the deerwolf away on impact and letting the monster escape.

(Fuck me! Its head seem to have been harder than I thought! That should have crushed goblin head long ago!)

(Does it have some sort of skills or its shell is thicker on the head?)

(But still, I did manage to land a solid blow on it, however it's still not dying! For fuck's sake.)

(I did ended up getting hit, but it wasn't that bad.)

(Still, it has enough strength to push me back with that one hit. This thing strength is no joke.)

(Strength that can crush me if he catches me, scythe blades that can easily cut me to shred and a freaking acid that can melt me.)

The centipede monster suddenly began spitting acid once again, but it didn't shot at the deerwolf but instead covered its scythe blades in acid.
