Chapter 12

Looking at the closed door, Reinan's two dark colored eyes flashed a series of symbols. After a while, he lowered his head.

"Any other things?" Reinan whispered to himself.

Lily, 23 years old, gender: female, is an ordinary person. She was a supporter of the theory of evolution, especially since her father was one of the Survivors, who joined a special organization after his examination. Lily was filled with curiosity about the Survivors.

She had asked her father several times about the boundless stream of the world, but her father would not tell her at all, until that afternoon, when she helped her mother deliver some documents to her father, and ended up overhearing a conversation by accident.

"Steve? To let him come here to work? Are you all overthinking that? He's just an ordinary person and doesn't meet our requirements to come in here." Said one of the people in the room.

"But this fellow has a relationship with three S Rank Survivors. If he were here, he might be able to meet the demands of the three S Rank Survivors." said someone else.

"No. I don't agree." The middle-aged man shook his head, "He has no obligation to do that. Don't ever mention this matter again!"

Lily blinked her eyes. Why did she feel that this name sounded familiar?

When she returned home, Lily frantically started looking through her search history on her phone and finally got the name Steve from the website she had just visited.

The website was a tourist promoted by the Survivors who came back to this world by hitting the road into a pothole, but before that happened, this tourism was promoted because it had the most handsome guide, and the guide's name was... Steve!

"He has a relationship with all three S-Rank Survivors?!" Lily swallowed a mouthful of saliva that had already filled her mouth, "Okay, it's decided!"

She clicked to sign up directly.

"Let's check it in person!" Lily said excitedly.

Even if it was someone else, it would feel very good to go and see a handsome man.

The next day, the weather was colder than yesterday's weather. If yesterday was just cold because of the chilly autumn wind, today, the second Steve stepped out of his apartment, he realized that he himself was exhaling with white mist as he breathed. The temperature was already completely below zero degrees, and people walking around were wearing layers of clothing to keep themselves warm. Steve rubbed his hands together, his fingers now felt frozen and a little sore because of the extreme weather.

"Here, put this on." Rino handed Steve a pair of white gloves, "Today the temperature is very cold."

Steve took a pair of gloves from Rino and quickly put them on his hands. They were also very cold and frosty inside, and would probably take a while to warm up.

"Gosh, put on another pair of gloves, your whole body looks even whiter than usual." Rino teases Steve.

Steve looked at him helplessly, "I'll dye my hair again when I have time."

"You've said that many times, but the time may never come either." Rino leaned against the car, "Days are getting busier with more tourists every day, it is expected that we will have to guide them for the next few days."

Steve stuffed his glove-covered hands into his trouser pockets, "The atmosphere is very chaotic right now. Who knows if there might be another accident that will happen and we might all get another leave." said Steve lightly.

With a slight sigh, Rino shook his head. The matter of being granted leave was tantamount to losing their job, but no one would know about it since the return of the Survivors. The atmosphere is very chaotic everywhere, some people even believe that this is the coming doomsday and immediately hide in their respective homes, not daring to leave the house. Until the situation stabilized completely, no one knew what would happen.

"It's time to go. Can we get ready?" Teddy called Steve and the others to get on the bus.

"Wait a moment!" Rino answered, waved his hand at Teddy after checking the number, then turned to Steve, "Steve, that friend of yours, is he not coming today?" Rino asked Steve.

Steve looked at him lazily, "That doesn't mean he doesn't have other activities, he doesn't have time to hike every day."

Since his first visit, Ricky would occasionally hike with the group, but some people with a keen sense of taste knew that he was there because of Steve. Rino knows that Steve is a little apart, but everyone else wants to make up with him. As he watched, he realized that Steve really didn't care about that, so he didn't want to interfere in the matter any more than that.

"By the way, that friend of yours, and the S-Rank Survivor that was announced yesterday, have the same name, the one who was rumored to be the scariest person." Rino said while scratching his head. Ricky arrived late yesterday, but Rino still remembers his name, which makes him double check when he sees Ricky's name. After thinking about it deeply, he finally decided that his name might be a coincidence.

Maybe just the same name.

"Coincidence, isn't it?" Rino smiled and patted Steve's shoulder, "Let's go, there is another group this afternoon. We have a lot of activities today, so we will probably be very busy until midnight tonight."

Rino got on the bus and announced that everyone was here and they could start climbing up the mountain. Many people were holding cameras on the bus. Most of them came here to record the hole. Today, the internet is so hot the topic of Survivors is and, no matter what the case, the mere mention of the word 'Survivor' will cause the topic to become famous.

In the crowd, Lily quietly sat on her bench while looking at Steve who was sitting in the front row.
