Iris pov

After taking a deep relaxing breath I finally pour out the truth have been battling with, finally, I pour out my feelings, and not to avoid any regrets I leaned forward to Lexar placing my gentle palms on his shoulder.

Lexar, I love you too, I do love you and I always will continue to love you none stop, the only thing that has been stopping me from realizing my feeling is that.

Am afraid of becoming weak on a battlefield, I grew up a warrior and a warrior's blood flows in my vain and I have witnessed so many men and heard stories of people who left their loved ones for a battle and never made it back.

That is been my most fear, leaving someone I love the most and with the lost hope of ever seeing each other again.

That was what I experienced when the war between your kingdom and mine started, I lost my family in that battle, there was love and your father just arrived unannounced and took it all away.

I know known of it is your fault and it all had been taken care of but I still can't bear the thought of having a relationship, with the son of my enemy.

Lexar's pov

I know you are hurt but when there is love surely all can be conquered, do you remember when we were in the woods you cared for me and I also did the same despite the fact we never knew each other's identity and together we could lead our kingdoms to greater heights, you don't have to worry as long as am right by your side.

Thank you for making me feel better Lexar I needed it, I love you so much "Iris murmured as she hugged Lexar and gave him a kiss" and Lexar also did the same.

The kiss was overpowering as both never had their lips touched before, it felt magical to them both as they went with their hands wrapped around each other continuously, they loosed balance and they both fell to the ground.

Lexar fell head down with Iris over him they froze in place as they both into each other's eyes retracting the connection.

Soon later iris stood up covering up her robe as she folded her arms and finally spoke, thanks a lot for your help I had never had this discussion with anyone else, it felt really good to let it off my chest.

It has been quite an honor, good night "Lexar said as he was about to leave.

Hold on Lexar, I just thought since it is my last night here why not make it special, why not have some drink and let's see where the night takes us, "Lexar smirked by iris statement and gave a node as he ordered a maid to get them some liquor.

They began drinking and gisting through the night that they lost track of time, Iris stood up looking dazed and insanely drunk, Lexar get up now "iris blabbed".

Lexar got up looking confused as he was barely drunk, he held onto her as she was about to fall, from losing her balance.

She pulled him even closer as she got under the sheets with him trapped beneath her and tossed her robe to the ground lustfully.
