The Wandering of the Dragon God

I had one wish to God: "To be Reincarnated in one of my Favorite Anime Worlds, Mushoku Tensei." What I did not expect is that I did not reincarnate as Rudeus, nor Paul, or even Eris's brother or even a sister. Not even Laplace. But a certain Dragon God by the name of Orsted. Or an even younger Orsted....? But, you know I COULD'VE just wished for something else other than that stupid waste of a wish so I started to try earning power in the best way possible also known as "simple" training. ..... Man, my curses suck ass too. Damnit father. Well, at least I can probably use them to their fullest potential with the right time and effort..... not! I currently don't have the weak mana regenenration that might last for 100 years, so I have most of the boons before they are wasted. Now, Hitogami..... let me take over your place! [ Rewritten ] Notice: Emotional Rollercoaster ahead.... probably Proceed with caution and don't make excuses that you didn't get warned. ( Caution: slow updates) Update: No Harem

Chapter 2: {Isolationist Period (K330 - K343), Part Two; Discovery}

~] Chapter - START [~

~] Two Years After The MC's Reincarnation [~

Orsted sat inside a cave that he found three days after he was reincarnated. In front of him was a few pieces of meat, fruits, and vegetables of this world that were turned into skewers before being smoked above the flames that gave slight warmth to him.

Why was he staying here? He may have.... certain reasons why. He was continuously experimenting over things that may help him. He was theorizing, researching, and adapting to this cave and forest.

He felt like a coward and was regretful to it, but this was the only way for him to prepare for the outside world, never considering other options in fear that one of his curses would do something to the people nearby him.

Even if he did save some people from some of the beasts that he had known here due to common sense and/or simple coincidence, he proceeded to immediately move away and isolated himself inside the same cave he thought of as his home, even when it was a little crude to his tastes due to requiring mastery with his self-made [Transmutation Magic], which was quite convenient, really.

Now, about the theories that he had put together years before, those had given him a few answers.

Why does his mana regenerate unlike the original Orsted? Because his curse of looping had not sent him to an similar or alternate timeline in K330 yet, that's probably why.

Before he had finished one of the seven skewers he made by himself, he noticed something, and felt a little scared, and even more paranoid.

"Someone's entering...?" He muttered, slowly looking at the shadow of an individual approaching the cave.

Even if he hides, someday, he'll just be found out, huh....

What a drag.....

Orsted observed as the figure had ventured far enough in his carefully remade base, the torches lighting up the path, and the figure, who revealed herself to be a young girl around the age of 13. She looked scared, but tried her best to hide it very well, she also carried a shortsword, ready to cut down anyone.

He barely recognized the girl as one of the people he saved probably a week ago, his senses of time were barely right inside this cave. But, was she brave, or just curious? Orsted didn't know.

".....N-nok... baka? (Who are you?)" The girl spoke out with an unfamiliar language, and it took Orsted a few seconds to know that, this girl was using the Human God Language, which was based on Basque, and.... it felt strange to hear. (*1)

But, based on her tone, she was scared, as expected of his curse. Damn it. But, maybe he can react to gestures? He's not completely familiar, and he forgot to know how to talk using the Human God Language! But at least he knows that he can probably decipher what she said.

The girl was shaking in fear, but she gripped her sword tightly and gulped. She took a few more steps forward and gathered her courage.

"Buke ibena vaqxehben dizut, akkohba!" She shouted with a little more courage tinged with annoyance, this time, Orsted knew what to say. He wasn't really that familiar with speaking the Human God language, and due to that, his responses may be delayed.

".... Hans, Hans Orsted." He told the girl his own name, making her calm down a little bit. So, what was in her mind right now?

He didn't know, and many things were still going in his head.

The girl hesitated for a moment, then sheathed her shortsword and tried to calm herself down from the dreadful aura that was inside the cave. When Hans observed her figure carefully, he noticed that the girl's hair was vaguely red, like a certain redheaded tsundere.

The girl was wearing a dress that had reached to her knees, and she looked like she had a coat that covered most of her torso, her breasts had noticable signs of development, also, she's an inch shorter than him.

She approached Hans, and when a tasty scent "touched" her nose, her mouth started to drool, and her stomach had growled. Then she noticed that Hans had to eat the last of his skewers.

Then, she gestured at the remaining four skewers that were being smoked above the flames, and to her mouth. To be honest, Hans was just having his snack, so why not share only three to her?

So, he tried to demonstrate how to use the skewer, but ended up almost scaring her to the point of probably unsheathing her sword. Hm, it's natural for her, probably. Hans also stopped her from hurting her own mouth from the pointed tip of the skewers, and letting her know how to eat the skewered ingredients properly.

However, that doesn't mean that Hans had already gained her full trust. She was still doubtful about him.

How can a mere stranger just give her some of his food? Admittedly, the food that he cooked in a strange, unfamiliar way was really good, so good that she already finished all of them after a few.... seconds. Not even half a minute had passed, and she already devoured a single skewer.

Even when the skewers were as long as his arm, Orsted was a little amazed at the rate that the redhead was devouring the skewers. Therefore, he continued eating his own skewers.

In the end, the girl did not want to leave the cave because while it was at afternoon even if Orsted tried to, he couldn't even force her to do so because he still has his morality and common sense. So, because there's a possibility that she was being searched for by either good people or bad people, he let her stay here.

There are still a few years to spend before he stops isolating himself inside this crude place he can still call home.

Did he mention that the girl's name was Elfrieda Boreas Greyrat?

~] CHAPTER - END [~

(A/n: Look, I tried, okay?)

Notes:

*1: I tried integrating the Human God Language based on what information I dug on Reddit. Now, don't look at me like that! I really tried!
