Chapter 1: {Isolationist Period (Winter, K330 - Spring, K343), Part One}

~ Chapter - START ~

While the recently reincarnated Orsted had looked at his reflection, he reflected at what he should do.

Kill/Seal Hitogami?

..... Eh, no.

Not yet.

Maybe at his 10th loop, where he knew that he's 2000 years old and is able to defeat the reincarnated Demon God Laplace, one of the original Laplace's half. Because in that time, he'd have learned the Sword God, Water God, and North God styles, and maybe had magic?

But, before that, he wanted to explore the world, maybe familiarize himself with the world. Maybe he needed to create an artifact that would suppress his [Curse of Intimidation]?

One problem, he doesn't know how to use magic. But at least he can use the knowledge he has on the original sources, on Reddit, and the fandom wiki.

Apparently, the time he is now is at Winter of K330, 70 years before the birth of Rudeus. He's in the northern part of the Central Continent, of course.

Right, he had to finish collecting much of his thoughts, and then proceeded to think about what he should do before he takes his journey to familiarize himself with this world, and even if it was quite ridiculous, this world is actually shaped like a cube, if anyone asked.

He's just here to find a way to access his magic, and then proceed to train his magic by manipulating his own mana. Maybe he could try to make his own original magic?

Yes, even the ones that are cost efficient in mana. It may take a while, but he really had to prepare to fight Laplace or at the future loops.

This day had marked the start of first loop, and his adventure in this world will start maybe after spending 15 years making stuff up.

You wanna know why I taught myself magic in the first place? There are a few reasons: One, I will gain a better chance at survival. Two, I get to comprehend and understand this world's magic a little more. And three, I wanted to learn how manipulate my mana for future purposes, like making my own, original, and definitely not plagiarized magic from the anime, movies, comics, manhwa, manhua, and et cetera. Use my knowledge, and invent bullshit because magic in this world is nigh-omnipotent. Have enough magic, and have enough creativity, and you can do something really good.

Because this is probably my very first loop and the way to truly end the loops is by ending Hitogami by any means. And by that, I am going to use the curse of looping to it's complete fullest. Yeah, I might as well say that it is a blessing.

Hey, I'm not going to try and waste time, I have a lot of it! Like seriously, a lot! Dying will only restart a loop, and I'm actually really scared of dying as this world turns the souls from those who had died into particles of mana. And there is no reviving a person unless he/she is revived before a certain time.

So, let us start the tests.

The first test included me chanting something about a prayer to the "Father of All Flames (Self Made)", and then said "Fireball" at the end of the chant. The result was.....

.... A part of the forest got turned into flames.

Although I wanted to mention that I felt something being drained inside of me, and I presumed that it was mana, and that the feeling that I felt needs to be familiarized if I wanted to learn mana manipulation and chantless magic.

About hunting and survival, hm? Well, due to my childish appearance, I might need to find a way to meet some humans. But, with my other curse, that's probably impossible.

Realistically, the aura I am emitting due to the curse makes everyone hate or fear me.

And that is the most worrisome curse ever.

I'd be forever alone, in isolation, and I'd probably be very bored.

So, what would I do?

I'd survive. Whatever it takes to survive and get stronger.

I'd do anything.
