The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 32 - Video

"Amira, would you like to explain?" A smile appeared on the host's face.

"Sure" Amira replied without hesitation.

"Lara and I were having a private conversation in that store when we noticed someone eavesdropping, so we changed our conversation. We had wanted to see what the person was up to and so we didn't call her out." She replied without even blinking.

The host looked at her and thought that it was either she was too good at lying or she was telling the truth.

"Then that means you've been misunderstood" she asked and decided to conclude their interview.

Amira walked out of the tv station with the same elegance that she used to, but within she was boiling with rage.

"Make sure you tell Lara, so that your statements will match" her manager told her as soon as she entered her car.

"I wi…" Amira was cut off by her assistant's gasp in the front seat.

"What now.." the already stressed out manager snapped.
