A Meeting

After they got to the cafeteria and started to eat, there was a knock in the door of the private room.

"Come in," Sophia said.

A young man around the same age as Dan came inside.

He looked around the room and saw Dan eating his food without caring about anything else in the world.

The young man looked at Dan and asked, "My name is William. May I ask who you are?"

Dan simply replied with one word, "Dan."

There was a small silence before William asked another question.

"What do you do?"

Dan pointing at Sofia while continuing to eat replied, "I am her bodyguard."

William's turned 180 degrees and asked in a condensing tone, "What are you doing here?"

Turning to Sophia, Dan says, "You should hire better employees. I just told him I am your bodyguard, what else am I suppose to be doing here beside guarding you and eating?"

William hearing what Dan studders, "You, you..."

"Me what?"

As William is about to say something, Sophia interrupts.

"What do you need, William?"

"The CEO of the Overseek corporation wants to have a meeting with you to discuss the upcoming collaboration."

"When and where is the meeting?"

"The meeting is tonight at the Law restraunt. He said that he could reschedule the meeting if you aren't free."

"It's fine, I can make it there."

While they were talking Dan was continuing to eat and think.

'Overseek corporation is another one of the biggest corporations in the state. It's CEO is also around the same age as me but unlike Sofia, he became the CEO because of his family.'

Time passed until it was time to go to the meeting. Sofia drove her supercar while Dan had to drive his old car.

When they got to the restraunt, there was a huge fence checking if the cars were allowed to pass, all of the cars in there were supercars.

'With my car, I probably won't be able to get in. More trouble coming my way.'

Sofia's car went first and then when Dan's car came in front of the gate, they just let him in. They didn't argue with him being able to not afford anything inside like he thought he would have to get through.

'Sofia probably said something to the guards but I wonder why. I mean she even lied that I didn't live in the villa to the guards at the villa.'
