What did you mean?

{This chapter will be a POV for Silos }

'Ahhhh Who's speaking so loudly' I slowly open my eyes and my annoying little sister comes into View

" Why were you screaming my name?" she looked down at me with a confused face.

" Are you deaf?" I was taken aback by her bluntness but that is how we royals were taught to express our concerns and feelings. To be very blunt and exact. Lying is best used on commoners who should not be privy to our secrets as royals.

" Hello?" I snap out of my reverence to hear Belle call to me a second time. I finally acknowledged her presence and respond.

" What do you want?"

She quickly responded " To play tag....were you not listening?"

I shook my head in pain as this conversation irked me. It felt so real yet so strained. Like there was a little gash between us.

"I'll be It as an apology my dear sister" I rise to my feet and take a formal bow. By the time I raised my head she was already gone.

I guess it was time to play....

I leisurely walk around the castle. Servants whenever they'd pass me would bow with great reverence.

'This is how it should be. This is how it should always be. The Riman Royal family is second only to the SEY Royals.' I thought to myself.

I was now wandering around the gardens. Mom was holding our youngest sister Planchett. I still wonder what possessed her to chose that name. She said it came to her while she was giving birth to her. She supposedly had to make very big a choice.

*Snap* I turn my head. A broken stick lay on the trail towards the gazebo. I began my chase..

*huff* *huff* I never...I never knew she was that fast. I'm catching up but she definitely knows this place better than me. Every-time i gain some distance she makes a turn or a loop that adds an extra couple meters.

Were almost at the gazebo and I can see someone sitting there with one of my older brothers. On closer inspection it was his soon to be wife of a smaller island kingdom in the Riman Archipelago.

I was running at full speed unfocused and hadn't noticed that Belle had stopped in her tracks. I crashed into her causing the both of us to tumble to the floor entangled in a strange position .

Catching the attention of the two , they looked down the steps of the gazebo to see me and Belle ontop of eachother.

I looked at Belle who hadn't taken her eyes off the couple. More specifically my older brother's soon to be wife. She looked on with a pitiful gaze in her eyes. I couldn't see why she was so sad.

I climbed off of her and she sat up.

My older brother was a handsome man and was around 6'3 in height , had ginger hair and a full manly beard. He wore a black and red military uniform with our family crest attached to it. For some reason he had sparkling silver eyes which glistened whenever you spoke to him. He always seemed extremely interested in others interests.

He was a favorite among the common folk. They said " he made their problems his problems ". It didn't seem appropriate for him as royalty to take on their issues but he seemed to find peace in it.

Next to him was his fiancé. Our family had graciously annexed her family out of power to lessen their burden of having to run a small country by themselves. It was gracious act my father did about a year ago.

She was 5'10 and had flowing honey brown hair that was silky and wavy. She looked sad but just my brother's presence seemed to mask this sadness in her eyes.

" Hey Silos , Belle , this is my fiancé Ms Rockwell. Shes frome the Rockwell family who used to be an independent state in Rima. Isn't she gorgeous "

She began to blush at a complement from such a kind and handsome young man.

She looked down at me and looked away with distain. Then she looked towards Belle and they both stared at eachother for a really long time before they both gave a smile towards eachother. This seemingly livened her mood as she turned back to her fiancé.

" Harry...thank you. Im glad I get to be your wife. You've shown me something very interesting."

I had lost interest and all of a sudden belle tapped my shoulders and teased.

" Your it again!"

She ran fast but I wasn't gonna lose to her. As I was gaining distance away from the gazebo I turned back to see them in a slight embrace.

As i turned around my vision came back to the present.

Before me was a group of unhappy individuals. How am I to be blamed for this? I had nothing to do with their children's death.

Im always the pun of the joke. Or the clown of the act. I was born to win. I was born to be KING! right?

So why have I failed so badly? Why am I still failing? I knew this would be hard but..Its in my blood to win! Im the heir to the throne Silos Sola.

I looked at them and shook my head.

" They royal family shall pay all of your families your respective dues in land and monetary compensation"

The few greedy ones smiled in delight while the two who remained seated remain unperturbed. They sat and the silence spoke volume to their stance at the moment. They stared deeply into the eyes of the boy sitting on the throne. The dreaded man stood up gracefully before walking out. He was soon followed by the rest of the crowd.

Silos was once again left alone in the darkness. His body then statically phased in and out of his shadowy form. He was too enthralled in his own thoughts to see what was happening to himself.

'Father....what did you mean?'
