Monster

" Hmmm Young man. You disappoint me" Apathy who had turned to look at Belle was soon realized that she had turned her back away from her opponent.

Chop! A swift blow landed on her nape cutting circulation off from her brain for a split second. The light in her eyes visibly dimmed and her body accelerated to the soft grass infront of her.

She reached out and tried to mutter a few words but were unable to get them out...

She lay still on the grass. Although motionless her long black hair swayed in the wind. She looked extremely peaceful . She was tired. She had been overworking herself to find Will and neglected her own mind and body.

Rafael picked Apathy up and brought her too the water. He cupped some of it in his hands and tilted her head back so her throat would open. He trickled the water into her mouth. If you looked closely her pristine lips were dry and chapped.

Will looked down at Belle who was now shivering in her sleep and wondered what he was doing. He wasn't fit to lead. He knew nothing about leadership. He thought this would have been easy. He thought that everything would have just gone his way.

He looked up towards the man giving Apathy water to drink. It was his fault. Everyone wanted to take what he had away. He could have just explained that he wasn't dangerous. Why did he have to attack? He knew he was stronger so why hurt them?

All these questions ran through Will's mind and the more he got angry.

Rafael looked up at Will sensing his anger and after a long time he spoke.

" You blame me?.. I thought you better than that friend." He slowly got up and rested Apathy's body against a tree. He looked around and ripped a few large fan leaves and rested them over her body before again turning to face Will.

While Rafael did this Will had gently placed Belle's body down and broke a small stick off a nearby branch and got into an attacking stance.

" You hurt my friends! You hurt my crew! You shall pay you monster!!!"

Will charged at Rafael. Rafael stood still and watched will charge at him. He did not give him the respect of a proper stance. He stood languidly.

When Will finally reached within his attacking range in an instant Will's small body flew through the air making an audible whistle. A second later he collided with a tree causing fruit to fall down onto the ground. His hand drooped and the stick fell from his grasp. His face carried a imprint of a fist making the skin bright bright red.

Will let out a terrible grunt of pain. He gripped his abdomen and screamed in pain. He moaned a few times before shakily standing back up. The frown that was plastered on Rafaels face loosened a tiny bit as he respected the willpower of the young man in front of him.

Will picked up the stick that fell from his hands and used it to prop himself up.

" Your too weak my young friend. Lay down your weapon.Your anger is misplaced." Rafael said this calmly.

Will looked at him with a dazed gaze and said

"No. I have to avenge them!"

He then charged again. A few seconds later a loud whistle and crash was heard.

This time Will's body had crashed so hard that he had broken through the tough outer bark of the jungle wood and reached the lighter inner bark. His cheek and jaw were now visibly swollen but the imprint of the fist was now on his abdomen.

His body reeled back from shock and his little throat couldn't even muster a sound to explain the amount of pain he was in. His body limply fell face first onto the ground and he curled up and coughed for a few seconds. Each cough leaving a small splatter of red on the green grass.

He struggled to open his eyes and even when he did his vision was shaky and blurry and he couldn't even orientate himself. He looked in front of him. Belle's body laid still in the sunlight but she looked pale and cold. He realized that something might be wrong.

Will looked at Rafael who looked as if he was waiting for another attack. Will conflicted , shifted his gaze between the two. He made a decision.

He forgot about his fight with the man before him and crawled towards Belle. Rafael looked at this casually and didn't stop him. He looked at will with extreme interest.

Will crawled. He was winded and couldn't catch a good breath. Everything seemed so grainy and unfocused but he reeled in every ounce of strength he had within him. He used blades of grass as leverage to pull him closer to her.

When he finally got to her. He rested his head on her cold wet bosom. Her heartbeat was growing fainter and less frequent. He then hovered his cheek just above her mouth. Blood from Will's lips dripped onto her cheek and ran down her pale face. Her breath was there but it was very faint.

Will shakily began to undress her. He slid the strap of the dress from on her shoulders pulling it down below her feet.

Belle wore bloomers but they were soaked aswell. Will could barely see straight but he knew he wasn't going to do this so he sat there and racked his brain. He thought about what he could do and then his eyes glowed.

The noon sunshine in the area seemed to become magnified it was almost as if the suns glow was being concentrated on this area. Belle's clothing visibly dried and her body was now reaching back to an optimal temperature.

Rafael watched this and his gaze remained fixed on the sun that hung in the sky. He had a look of awe on his face.

He turned to Will who was on his knees with a swollen face and blood dripping down his golden hair. The noon sunlight reflected through the dust particles in the air making the whole scene before him extremely ethereal and mysterious. He the. Cast his gaze towards Belle who was now visibly recovering. He could see the cherry like red return to her cheeks. It looked like she was having a much better rest.

Will then directed his golden eyes which looked to be extremely bright towards Rafael.

He was about to say something but then he felt the skin on his back raise and he instantly retreated a few meters backwards. Sweat trickled on his forehead and he turned animalistic in his posture. It was as if he had turned to his basic instincts of survival. He was slightly hunched and his body was covered in sweat. Every muscle in his body was visibly tensed waiting to let out an attack or more importantly defend but it never came.

Will's eyes dimmed completely and he fell face first into Belle's bosom.

Somewhere on the A man with a bird latched onto his shoulder sneezed.

Rafael immediately relaxed his body shook his head. He looked at the spot where he stood which was now completely devoid of life. The grass had withered and even the smallest of insects were dead. It was terrifying. He was already impressed but now he was just plain shocked.

" Who is this boy?"
