Man Down

2 Weeks after Will's Disappearance....

It was a sunny day on this island. The winds that blew across the ocean brought a cool winter breeze. The temperature of air was a bit chillier than normal making people feel the need to wear something a bit more appropriate for the weather...

Two people were walking on the streets of a medium sized island on the outskirts the Riman Archipelago. It was a sunny day but the temperature said otherwise. So they both wore an unfamiliar set of clothing.

The man's wavy blue hair was blowing in the wind along with his earring .He wore a long sleeved white shirt covered in some exotic animal's white fur. Seemingly defeating the purpose of the shirt he kept it unbuttoned exposing his tight abdomen to the elements. His black trousers matched well with his black boots complementing his look.

Next to him was a young girl with long silky black hair. Her hair was braided neatly into a halo with the rest flowing down her back. She wore long dress that went down to the floor. The collar and arm holes were covered in fur. And above all this she wore a small coat that was trailing on the floor behind her. Her expression was solemn but she still managed to smile towards her nearby companion

" Davie...I wonder where Will is?"

Davie looked down at her rosy cheeks. He smiled and his face went a little red.

" I don't know...but we cant stay here forever. Virgil told us to leave as soon as possible. "

His smile faded as he spoke but he still tried his best to maintain his smile but it faded seeing the down expression on her face

"Im sorry...."

" Its ok." She responded blandly.

" Our ships been ready for a few days now. We should probably go before any of our troubles arrive. I don't think whoever that gazelle person is has noticed that something is wrong yet. And I have a feeling they're no weaker than that folklore that was killed. "

They continued to step in silence for a little while.

" Where do you think she took him?" She looked up again yearning for an answer that satisfied her.

Davie was not looking at her though. He was staring at at unique building in the middle of the clothing district. If one looked close enough you could see that the door did not have any view of the inside but the window opposite it did but a sign was hanged above it saying closed until further notice.

Not realizing he was speaking out loud Davie said.

" Virgil left as soon as we came back with the good news. Well...it was kinda bad new but still. He said that they would kill him or something. He left us with these clothes saying it was going to get a bit colder on this island. "

Davie quietly tugged at a tuff of fur on his shirt before looking over to the bewildered expression of Apathy.

Apathy chose not to repeat her question because just from what she just heard she knew that he would have very little useful information or advice right now.

She looked up to the sky and thought back to right after ' SHE ' took him.

Two weeks earlier....

Two people appeared wearing the same clothes as the folklore that was killed by her. They were Archbishop's aswell but they had a weird feeling to the as if they were not the conventional ones we'd seen in the church. Apathy could tell they were more powerful in their respective crafts and well versed in combat just from the way they carried themselves.

One had short brown hair while the other had darker skin and long curly dark hair. Both of their skins were pale and they shared the same full moon eyes. Their auras gushed out of them although they gave the a similar feeling it wasn't hard to tell they were different. They wore less cumbersome robes and had on neat skirt with black stockings.

The one with short brown hair looked around the area before speaking.

" Her Excellency told us to clean up 'her' and his presence from this spot , extract some materials for spells and potions and destroy the rest of the hotspot. Got that Rox"

The curly hair girl did not speak instead she pointed to the three people staring at an empty spot on the floor. Their eyes were quiet almost as silent as a night.

" Hmmm Prim what about these hatchlings?"

Their gaze remained still and steady like the moon the sky. As if deciding the fate of creatures smaller than ants.

" You feel bad for them? I guess we can spare their lives. The war in the golden world needs new fresh faces to spread their wings and rise above the clouds. Also id rather not have that one's blood on my hands her fate reeks of ' Him '. "

Rox gave a snide comment. " I'd rather not find out my best friend that I've known my whole life is really just one of his faces"

Prim silently floated floated upwards and destroyed the pedestal that contained the blood of the object using rays of moonlight. That fell down from the sky like a hail of arrows

Rox followed suit but her attacks were a concentrated beam of light that shot from her fingertip. After 20 minutes of purification and doing other things they both settled on the ground.

Still motionless the trio remaind. After a while of staring at them a lightbulb seemed to flash within Rox's mind.

She placed her hands of each of their shoulders. They began to float and its only now that they begun to show some life. Apathy looked wide awake and whispered some words as her eyes bled.

"Fall asleep." Rox lost consciousness for a split second before regaining control. She seemed to have lost whatever emotional capacity she had for them as she threw their weightless bodies off into the distance.

Prim looked at Rox and sighed.

" This is why you don't be nice to ants. You let them roam in your home and they'll only come to bit you in your sleep "

" Strange ant.." Rox whispered before drawing an archway in the air using her fingernails. Prim was the first to enter but Rox stayed behind and stared off into the distance for a little while before disappearing into the arc.
