chapter 8

Izuku wasn't understanding this day. It was a complete normal day, he walked from his new home to school, stopped to see a villain attack, entered school, got shoved in the hallways, tripped on the stairs, cursed in the class, ignored by most teachers, but this is what he didn't understand. To try and understand it he will try to recount the things that happened.

Toga was not happy, a week passed since the hero work that Izuku did, but nothing changed in his school life, Toga decided to do something about it. Grabbing her phone a dialing Nezu's number, she put a smile on her face. "Hello! Nezu." She hums after the voice came to reply her. "How is it? I'm on my way to Izu. I will take him out of there." She hums as if a plan is being told to her. Toga laughs, a not mental kind of laugh, "Yes! I will love to be part of it!" And after this statement she turned off the call and skipped her way to Izuku's school.

Arriving at the school, she wasn't surprised as she saw, Aizawa, Midnight and Present Mic, that she learned were called Kayama Nemuri and Yamada Hizashi respectively. She waves at them as they respond with a smile and a wave back. "So Kitty how will we do this?" Nemuri asks, Kitty being the nickname she came out with for Toga, while gaving her a mask to cover her face, a small black mask with some small lines in white in either side to make a blush, and a mouth that resembled one of a cat, '(/// ω ///)'.

She became ecstatic with the cute mask, it only covered her mouth and nose, but it was perfect for what they would be doing. "So the plan Nezu came with was for me to rush there and just kill Izu!" Toga said, making Nemuri and Hizashi to gasp. "Don't worry I will make it quick~. He won't even feel the knife~." She adds, showing one of her knifes and swinging it around.

"Wait..." Hizashi says in whispers, trying to make out what the plan was. "Shota, we will not kill the little listener, right?" Aizawa nods, making Hizashi visibly much calmer. "What if you tell them the right plan?" Aizawa comments directing his gaze to Toga.

Toga sighs, "Well, I tried... It would be the best way to traumatize those kids, and I would have fun doing it~." She says growing a blush that became visible even with the mask on. "Nezu just said to go in there and take him out, then retrieve security footage of the bullying and going back home. My role is to point out who Izu is, even though you guys already know who he is. And is to get the limelight heroes entertain the student body, even though I doubt it will happen." She finishes only getting confused looks.

"Girl you scare me sometim-" "Thank you! I also love you!" Nemuri was cut by Toga, getting a compliment where there wasn't any. "We should have fun one of this days. How about going shopping with me Kitty?" Toga starting bouncing around happy. "Yeah! Let's go!"

The bell for the lunch break sounded, and that was the signal that the operation would start. Toga was happy that she would take Izuku out of this prison, and had permission to threaten students, this is if she caught them bullying that is. Aizawa was relieved that he would take his coffee maker out of a bad situation and would deal with bad students.

What they weren't expecting was, getting to class and right above the desk that was believed to be Izuku's, a vase with red-spider lilies, the teacher was still present in the class as Izuku was being kicked in the ground. Bakugo was not present in class though. Toga didn't spare a second to take a picture of the act.

As Toga began to dash and kick the students out of Izuku, Aizawa was speechless, only activating his quirk in a rage, Hizashi was ghost pale, completely petrified by the vision of what was happening to his little listener, and Nemuri was terrified, what was the kid holding in to take all this like it was a completely normal thing to happen.

Not taking another second Aizawa turns to the teacher that was cackling in his desk while watching, grabbing him by the collar, the teacher was terrified by the man's gaze, Aizawa's glare was effective to intimidate his targets most of the times after all. "What the hell is this?!" Aizawa asks. The teachers lip trembling answers. "W-W-What?" The teacher didn't even know what was wrong with what was happening.

Toga successfully took the students out of Izuku and was currently pointing knifes at them, while on that Izuku was trying to calm her down, so that she wouldn't kill anyone. Many students were gathering around because of Nemuri and Hizashi, but any of the students spared a glance at Izuku's treatment. Everyone's attention was taken by Aizawa as he screamed. "What?! Is this kind of things normal?! What the hell is wrong with this school?!"

"Little listener, are you okay?" Hizashi asks as he weaves through the crowd of students that was on his way. Izuku nods, "What are you guys doing here though?" Hizashi sighs, his gaze turns cold as he turns to the students that were behind him, "Came to get you, while on it, we were going to make a appearance and show at the school, we even had the permission. Now it doesn't even is passing through my mind."

Nemuri passes the crowd of disappointed students and ruffles Izuku's hair. "Sup, Izu. You okay?" Izuku nods. "Okay, then let's go, go get your things." Izuku does as he is told and soon gets his Yellow extra-big backpack.

Somehow Aizawa already left with the teacher, so the four of them just left the school messaging Aizawa that they would be going on ahead. Somehow that day a bit of Hizashi, Nemuri and Aizawa's heart broke.

As they get to the cafe, they notice the small creature that was Nezu and a man, with formal wear, black short hair and a face that screamed average, but that wasn't important for Izuku, what was important was what the hell was happening that day. The first to speak was the man that was accompanying Nezu, "Tsukauchi Naomasa, detective, important noting that my quirk is similar to a lie detector." Izuku nods. What is happening? Izuku thought for the nth time that day.

Izuku was asked a lot of questions, all with the same objective of knowing what Izuku's school life was, for some reason that Izuku couldn't understand, Nezu was trembling in rage, Nemuri was holding a Toga that was almost making her way back to the school, as Nemuri was just shocked at Izuku's words and Hizashi muttering things while being seated on the sofa of the cafe.

Important aspects that Tsukauchi noted were, The kid is not aware of what is correct behavior, has for what can be noticed two friends close to his age, and one of them acted to reduce the amount of bullying he suffered, but suicide baiting, starving, locking him up, beating him, cursing at him and straight of neglect by teachers, the schools' crimes continue pilling... Naomasa thought as he sighted for what seemed the longest of his life. "I will be taking my leave here. Thank you for your cooperation."

"Ah, wait! Want a coffee to leave?" Izuku asks the now confused detective. Nezu signals him to sit besides him. Looking around Izuku asks. "Anyone want something too?" Getting some orders in, he starts preparing them.

Placing the orders on their seats, they start drinking and eating, Toga getting her second blood bag for the week, since she was showing symptoms of Blood Frenzy. Tsukauchi also noted that even though, Izuku is too young to work, he makes a nice coffee, but since he has backing from Nezu he has permission.

He makes his exit as Aizawa gets in. Getting Aizawa a coffee, Izuku sits with him, a smile in his face as he talks with the tired man, Tsukauchi learned to be on the good side of the kid, since it seems he can benefit from that and get good coffee.

At the final of the day, U.A. had a emergency meeting, there were most teacher and some of the staff. "Good afternoon everyone." Nezu starts. "First of all, I want to present a new staff member, that will start teaching at the start of next year, he will be learning the ropes of the job during this year." He adds as he makes his way to the door. Out of the door comes a bulky man, blond and a smile on his face. "It's All Might!" Nezu announces.

Aizawa pinching the bridge of his nose, sighs, "Why are we painting a target on the school? Can he even teach?" Aizawa comes with reasonable questions. The bulky man replies with a big smile. "But of course! Also I will be teaching heroics, focusing on fights and battle senses."

"But there is something every member of the staff must be aware." Nezu adds. Then All Might deflates, making a Small Might appear. Gasp were heard. "I would appreciate that this matter would not be made public." Small Might adds. "Also call me Yagi Toshinori, that is my name."

"Now take a seat Toshinori." Nezu says as he goes to his seat. "Now we will pass to other matters. Aizawa how was it?" Nezu asks, making Hizashi and Nemuri flinch.

Aizawa sighs. "It was awful, the security feed showed that he receives those kinds of treatments everyday. It got much worse some weeks ago though." Aizawa rubs his temples. "From the 3 weeks I saw, he was pushed down the stairs 20 times, 5 of those with teachers seeing, got his homework stolen on a daily basis, teachers punish him even though they know it was not his fault for it, he gets beaten in his class while Bakugo Katsuki is not present in class, and it makes it seem that the kid is not aware that Izuku is being treated like that. And I will not state the treatment more cruel."

"What is this about?" Ectoplasm asks, another teacher from U.A., Some teacher had cold sweat going through their bodies as they heard the treatment of a student in a school. Hizashi and Nemuri were gasping, on verge of tears.

"Midoriya Izuku, a 14 year old boy, a student in Aldera Middle School. A school that we are investigating for quirk discrimination. His quirk is immortality, but he only discovered it early this school year, and can't show it, so he is treated as quirkless, he also lived and his marked as quirkless, and from documents there are requests to change his quirkless status but he is not being allowed to." Aizawa informs.

"How do you know he does indeed have the quirk?" Snipe asks. "I saw him die." Aizawa simply states. "Also there are other witnesses to this, Ingenium being one of them."

"How does such quirk work?" All Might asks. "He regenerates fully after dying, only regenerating when he dies." Is the reply from Aizawa.

"Kayama, Yamada, anything to add?" Nezu asks. The duo still processing how the green ball of sunshine can have been through such things. Hizashi decides to speak after a bit. "We arrived to him being beaten to the ground by four different students, his teacher laughing at the act." Nemuri then adds. "At his desk there was different ways of saying for him to kill himself, a vase of red-spider lilies and trash on his desk."

"And that is all of the things we can add from what we saw." Aizawa finishes. Nezu sights as he looks at his paws, clenching them and looking determined he says. "I will be recommending him for the general studies next year, he already showed more then necessary knowledge and intellect to enter, as of now, we will force him out of school and make him be home schooled for the rest of the year."

"Why not the hero course?" Hizashi asks, remembering the incident a week ago, where he accurately analysed a complex mission as well as set pointers for 750 different heroes. Nezu sighs once again. "He does not wish to be a hero, he completely refuses to be one, and if you call him one he will become aggressive until you stop calling him that."

"I remember Tensei calling him a hero though, and he didn't react like that." Nemuri says. Aizawa only sighs and shows his phone, with a chat of him and Tensei, where Tensei states that Izuku blocked him with only two lines explaining why. 'Do not call me a hero again. Will unblock you next week.' "He just didn't want to kick a fuss while others were there." Aizawa finishes.

"Why though? Isn't being a hero every kid's dream?" Toshinori asks. Nezu sighs again remembering the questioning that happened early that day. "He was refused by everyone, that his dream was not accepted by anyone. He also said that someone important for him also didn't believe he could be a hero. He didn't say who though."

After some more information being given they decide to stop there for the day. Hizashi got a good idea after that. "Hey! Do you guys want to see the kid? We can use it and have dinner out!" Many accepted, only teachers were going in their civilian clothing. The only exception the the teachers was Thirteen and Snipe.

Izuku was cleaning cups as the teachers arrived. He smiled and said, "Welcome! What will y-" He stopped as he saw Toshinori, getting visible angrier he turned around and screamed. "Toga! Come take my shift in the front please!" With that he left with a scowl in his face. Toga entered smiling not understanding what happened.

Toga smile remaining on her face, but her gaze and voice turning cold contradicting her expression as she saw Toshinori, Toga was the only who knew what All Might looked like in his deflated mode. "So. What did you guys do to Izu?"

Aizawa was the first to notice the change in behavior of the two and decides to ask. "What happened with the problem child?" Toga sighs, and in a heartbeat she is behind Small Might with a knife to his throat. "This is the problem." Everyone except for the three who already know her got alarmed and entered in a combat stance.

"What did he do?" Nemuri asks. "He is the reason Izu discovered his quirk to begin with." Toshinori flinches. "Don't worry, only I know this secret from Izu, he doesn't have anyone else to tell either way."

At that moment Toshinori clicks everything, A kid that was quirkless until about 6 weeks ago, knowing his condition, being refused by someone important for him. "It's all my fault..." Toshinori mumbles. Toga laughs at his attitude. "Don't come with that, 'all my fault' shit. Even I that was known as a psychopath and left people bleeding out in alleyways know that breaking dreams of kids come with crazy guilt." Nemuri and Hizashi swallow dry at her statement, Aizawa already knew about this, since Izuku asked him and Nezu to help with that.

Toga let go of him and started walking to the balcony. "I stopped doing that after meeting Izu though. I'm right now paying my fine with work in the cafe, after all." Going back to her smiley attitude she continues. "I can take orders now. And after today, he is completely banned from here until Izu says otherwise." She says pointing her knife to Toshinori.

Out of nowhere, from the back a yell was heard. "TOGA! DON'T THREATEN OUR CLIENTS!" Quickly answering a 'OK' she continued to smile to the costumers. Aizawa didn't want more of this, asked for his coffee and sat down at the sofa of the store. Nemuri and Hizashi soon followed suit, and others reluctantly did the same.

Today was really not Izuku's day. Thinking positively, he got more costumers.
