Chapter 8 The Right and The Left Side

Devin had shown them to the closest hospital and they made it in time and Heather was resting in the bed.

Wendi was in the next room and she was doing better and her mother by her bedside.

"I glad they okay," Roki said

"Yeah, but they can't go anywhere for at least three weeks."

"Three weeks. You know war is about to start between the north and the west region."

"I know."

Devin was worried but he wanted to show Roki the process so far on his masterpiece.

"This what I got so far."

It was half done and the blade was made out of the weirdest thing to make it.

A cat hair

A dog hair

Mud

A baby tear

Roki didn't believe that the blade would hold up and then he had lifted it and he found it quite light and it had made some swings and he felt like he can break and it will repair itself.

"When I have done with it will break but you can repair it and you can call it back to you like you wanted and it never misses its mark."

Roki was smiling and he had never seen anybody use the four-item to make a sword.

"Wait, the only race that can make a sword like that for you is a dwarf."

Limir was looking at him with his curious face.

"What?"

Devin was sweating and he wanted to change the subject but he couldn't change the subject just like that.

"Are you a dwarf?" Roki ask

"Yes, okay."

"Why do you look more human than a dwarf?"

"I half-dwarf and I normally don't tell anybody that but I don't want to work for anybody but a pure heart person and so far I haven't seen that in nobody but you Roki."

"Why me?"

"Because you pure and due to other worlds being at war and chaos when it comes to the end of their era."

"What do you mean by that?"

"It what I am saying about that."

"He means, lad. That there are other worlds that have more powerful forces than this world and you having trouble in this world."

"Yeah, but I didn't know that there were other worlds until I came here and how did I even come here anyway."

"Because you are half-human and half-demon."

"You like a coin. One side good and another side evil but there are also forces that counter the demons within it."

"The Gods and angels."

"What are you two talking about?"

"You is a demon and not just a normal demon with normal blood."

"Asmodeus," Limir said

"Who that?"

"Your father Roki."

"The demon of lust."

Roki knew but he never knew that the world was so against him and he had to fight through that before he had to break through his peaceful world.

"Devin, please finish it and make sure that it is complete. I want to be the one to bring peace to this world and then other worlds."

"I will be done with it in three days."

"Thank you."

Roki went out and he looks at Heather's room. He remembered what happens when he enters her room the last time and he couldn't go in to see her but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

"You alright, Roki."

"Limir, do you know what a dove do?"

"Send messages to people."

"Yeah, but they white as snow and they collect the letters and they also represented Aphrodite."

"How you know that?"

"My mom told me that when I was just three years old."

"I see."

Roki had sat down and he had close his eyes until she is alright and there he was having the dream of the day.

"Run, baby."

Roki's mother said to him and he was holding her hand tight and also holding his brother's hand too.

"Yoki, don't let go."

Roki turns back in front of him and he sees a burnt woman and it was his mother and he soon looks back at his brother.

He was burnt too.

"Nooo."

He stops and he got on his knees and he was looking up toward the sky and he sees that there a winged figure.

"Who are you?"

He looked at the figure with such evil.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Michael."

"Are you going to save us?"

"I'm sorry but I can't save devils."

"What makes us so different from you?"

"We are angels and you are just an evil being."

Roki was in tears and he couldn't accept that and he rejected that he being evil base on his race is just cruel and unfair.

"You isn't a pure being Michael, you are the one that looks at us as evil but if you want evil then I will be evil toward you and anyone that doesn't bring peace."

"You do as you must."

Roki had been woken up by Apple and he lends back for a second from just having that dream.

"Don't scare me Apple."

"I'm sorry but Heather starting to wake up."

Roki looks at the room and he asks, "Is she okay?"

"Go see her."

Roki got up and he holds his fist together and Apple wanted him to feel comfortable about seeing Heather.

"Thanks."

Roki opens the door and Heather looks at him and she smiles.

"Roki, I wanted to thank you."

"I thought you probably mad at me."

"I wasn't mad at you. It was just me."

"No, I should have considered all your feelings."

"It's okay. You didn't know us. So we can't be mad at you for not knowing how we feel about the situation."

"Yeah," Annie said

"We was just all scare and we didn't know what to do by having all that pressure on us before but we were all kids and now we can move forward and you can get to know us little by little."

Roki heard Ruby's words and he will take them to heart and he will walk out to the chair.

"Roki, what you thinking?"

"Limir, I thinking that we should get to know about the top of this place and make it our base."

"Wait, do you know what you are saying right now?"

"Yes, and we can't leave from here without trying to fight and I tired of running but this is to know that there are no more running away from."

Roki had moved to the outside and he wanted to bring people together and he calls them to listen.

"Listen to me good people of the seven seas. Are you tired of the outside world?"

"Get off you devil."

A group of people threw a rock at him.

"Please, listen to me."

Roki was pledging with them.

"Stop it!" Devin said

"No, Devin."

"You all should look at yourself instead of throwing rocks at the person who did nothing wrong to you."

"Why should we believe him? He could be lying to us."

"Yeah, you haven't been lying to by a human before."

It got quiet.

"You all are just using fear to blind your judgment and not using it on the real problem that is up there right now. Planning to kill us all."

"How do you know that?"

"I was up there and I got ran out by them up there and you all seen it. Are you people tired of living on eggshells?"

"He right. I was running down here by those fake people that claim they are seven seas."

"Yeah, and they take your hard earn money and use it on themselves. Having a private property with your money. Are you angry as I am?"

"Yeah!!"

Devin picks up Roki.

"It true he a devil but he not evil and he, not a person who lies and kills for fun. If he was then he would already be done it with his powers."

"He's right."

"So please listen to him."

"Thank you."

"Don't waste it."

"I came here from another world. Didn't know anything about this world but when I got here I thought I would live peacefully but I was wrong. I was shown to violence between each other and I thought I had have to kill anyone, but I was wrong and the people in the west thought we were dangerous, but we didn't kill nobody and due to that we couldn't live in peace no more and we were forced to leave and kill people that we didn't want to kill and we were angry and some of us was just trying to find a place called home."

"Was it other wars in the world that you came from?" A little girl asks

"Yes, it was and I lost my mother, the nicest person in the world and she never shows any anger or tells anybody no, but she has a tragic fate and she was. She was burnt alive by a dragon and she was so nice but due to having demon sons she wasn't able to go up to heaven and it was just unfair to see a woman like my mother be treated as an evil being even though she wasn't."

He shed a tear.

"Stop lying to us. You damn demon. How come you here if you were in the west living in the most powerful region in the world."

"Yeah!!"

"Dammit, these people," Devin said underneath his breath.

"Stop it," Wendi said

It got quiet again.

"You people are the real monster. For believing in the people that trick you and make your life hell. I thought they were going to rape my mother, but he came and save us but you wouldn't know that."

"Yeah! Right."

"We look at Roki as an individual and not as our race but if you want to look at all demons like that then you are blinded by the people above that make the poor people suffer and kill those for saying any words to them."

Wendi was looking strong and she would not cry and if she can look at it in a clear picture then they can too.

"What do you want us to do?" A strong man ask

"We need to go up there and teach them what our poor folks really made of and we will take the surface and we will show them that we don't need their leadership."

"Yeah!!"

"In three days, we will go up there and attack them and we will show them what we can do if they mess with us."

Roki had warmup the people and they were ready to take back the surface but Roki need his weapon before he goes up there with the people and the next three days. His sword was ready.
