Raffen Shiv Hideout

They were driving towards the nearest Raffen Shiv hideout while John and Nesiara were eating some Lembas since they hadn't eaten yet.

Panam could see everything on the rear mirror and she asks, "So are you two a thing?"

"Pretty much, I and John are married now for almost seventy years," says Nesiara as they couldn't count the time she was trapped to awaken the soul fragments of Lorena and the others.

"You don't look that old to me?" says Panam not believing one word of what Nesiara said since they didn't look a year older than thirty.

"Trust me they are old. How about Nesiara shows you a picture of their family," says V as they entered a cave.

"Maybe later when this is over," says Nesiara as she pulled out her guns while John just pulled Mjølnir from his belt.

"Wait, is that the moving hammer of the Afterlife?" asks Panam seeing John holding it.

"It is, I left it there to annoy Rogue," says John as they arrived at a well-light place that screamed hideout before you.

"Let's keep talking later," says V as she was holding the Ace of Spades ready to use it when they arrived and the Raffens begin to shoot at the Warhorse.

Panam makes a sharp right turn while braking making the car stop before they jump out of the car and John throws his hammer at the nearest enemy.

V and Nesiara were shooting at the enemy as V got to feel the recoil on her new gun which was sending her backward with every pull of the trigger.

"My beautiful car! Those bastards will pay for it!" shouts Panam as she was sniping the enemy from behind her car.

John and Nesiara were in the middle of the fight not caring about the bullets coming their way as Panam stopped everything she was doing when she saw that.

"What are they made of?" asks Panam as she looked at V who tried to reload her gun only to find a red bar on her gun which slowly went down.

"Don't worry about them," says V as she pointed at Panam before pulling the trigger.

The bullet bypassed Panam and hit one of the Raffens before saying, "Worry more about the ones that aren't bullet-proof."

Panam began to shoot again as they took care of the Raffen hideout when Panam began to interrogate her former business partner.

John and Nesiara went a bit deeper into the cave with V in the meantime when V asks, "What are we doing over here?"

"I heard a rumor that someone hid something valuable in a cave near NC and this is the only cave that is big enough to hide it," says John as V was now curious.

They soon arrive at a container when V looked at it curiously when she says, "How comes this isn't looted yet?"

"It is quite hard to open," says John as he punches two holes into it before ripping the doors of the container off.

John puts them to the side revealing a car inside while some equipment was hanging from the walls as a laptop was on the other end. They enter it and V touches the car.

"Do you like it?" asks Nesiara as V was beaming in excitement since she would need years to be able to buy such a car.

"Pretty much, I would need years to scratch the eddies together just to buy such a car," says V as John smiles at her.

"That isn't like the regular model. This one was made to carry its weight in your coming battles," says John as he finds the keys beside the laptop and throws them at V.

V catches the keys and looks at them as they had a bat symbol hanging from them before asking, "What about the equipment inside this container?"

"Let us put the valuable things away while destroying the rest," says John not wanting those things ending up in the wrong hands.

After storing everything in the car and V synchronized with the car did they leave to meet with Panam again since she was waiting for them in the Raffen Hideout.

"There you are, I already thought those caves got you good," says Panam with a smile.

"We were just inspecting something interesting," says V as they walked to the Warhorse and entered it.

"What now?" asks Nesiara as Panam started the engine again before driving out of the cave.

"I still have a package to deliver," says Panam as she was driving to the meeting place.

"The buyer can be trusted?" asks V seriously as she wasn't sure that it is a great idea.

"I have been dealing with this client for weeks. They can be trusted," says Panam with confidence when she looks at the rear mirror before saying, "If not we still have those two monsters to take care of the situation."

"If they know what is good for them everything will go like normally," says V as they arrived at a parking lot in the Badlands.

A car was already waiting for them there as Panam stops the car across from the car and someone stepped out of the car. He is a member of the 6th Street Gang going by his outfit that literally screamed army.

Panam stepped out of the Warhorse with the others when the man across from them seemed to recognize John and Nesiara.

The atmosphere became calmer than before as he stepped towards them and says, "I didn't know that you two would work with some Solos that try to make a name for themselves."

"This Solo is a friend of mine which reminds me a lot of my daughter," says Nesiara as she puts her hand on V's shoulder.

"I heard you retired from dirty work like this since you don't get paid a lot from this," says the man as Panam was carrying a box with whatever 6th Street wanted at the moment.

"We wouldn't be here if they hadn't asked of our help just an hour ago. You know that our price is quite high," says John as the man smiles at him.

"I know and all of your missions sound like suicide missions but you still complete them without a scratch on your body," says the man as he looked into the said box and nods to his men in the car who all stepped out to receive the package and pay Panam.

"I have a big job if you are interested in. I will leave the detail with Reyes if you want the job," says the man as the couple smiled back.

"Maybe our friends here will take care of said business for you one of those days," says Nesiara recommending V and Panam for the job as the man looked at V closely since he knew Panam already.

"She seems passable compared to the other mercs that tried to take the job," says the man as he walks to his car while Panam walked towards the Warhorse.

"Who is that?" asks V seriously as they entered the car.

"He is a nobody from the 6th Street Gang," says Panam calmly almost joking not interested in who she was supplying.

"Far from right, Panam," says John seriously as V looked at the couple.

"He is Wallace one of the higher member in 6th Street and he is known for killing all of his superiors before ascending to their position. There are rumors that he is trying to get to the top and he gathering resources," says Nesiara making both V and Panam turn pale for a moment.

"Don't tell me I am supplying a crazy bastard," says Panam as the couple smiles.

"Everyone in 6th Street is crazy don't let this information drag you down the mud," says Nesiara as she looked out of the window.

"And you recommend us to that Maniac," says V as she turns around to look at the couple while John pulled his phone out.

"Who are you calling at this hour?" asks V seeing that.

"I am calling Vik. We are beginning right away with your operation," says John as Viktor took the call.

John and Viktor talked for a moment as Panam arrived at the place she was staying at the moment when she says, "I would have invited you to a drink but it seems you have an urgent appointment to keep."

"We can drink another day but something really good," says Nesiara suggesting to drink something more exotic.

"V, I will see you later to help you get the person you are trying to find," says Panam as she entered the garage.

They all stepped out when Nesiara grabs V's shoulder before they disappear from the garage leaving only Panam behind who sees them disappear and she says, "Right, Monsters, I shouldn't get surprised any longer."

The couple and V appeared in Viktor's Clinic when V looks around surprised for a moment since it was the first time for her to travel like that.

"Alright, another thing that you can do?" asks V sarcastically the couple as this was a new power they showed her.

"Many more but let us begin with your new implants," says John before he turns to Viktor and says, "Vik."

"Everything is working as it should," says Viktor throwing the second heart towards John who catches it when V gets a good look at it.

"This will be going into your body. I worked extra hard to make you into a Super Woman," says John to V as V was taking some steps back before Nesiara grabs her.

"There is no turning back now V," says Nesiara as V thought her normal life was over after she got the implants into her body.

She lifts V up as she was fighting against Nesiara without success when she hears Johnny say, "Just get it over with so we can all go to sleep tonight."

"Shut it, Johnny. This is my body," says V angry as Nesiara smiles hearing that before putting her on the table so Viktor and John could start the implanting.
