So I just kept running.

I shoved all the papers in my green folder. My best art- prints were all inside, cause today was a big day. I was invited for an interview by the cat&co company, I wasn't entirely sure why they picked me, but such a big company was a big deal. My art in one of their magazines would be great publicity for my work.

Being an artist can be hard at times. I didn't do much 'criminal' stuff anymore ever since supergirl came here. She kinda ruined my ... Job as I would like to call it.

Don't get me wrong, I thought she was great, protecting innocent people. But without her knowing my real intentions, she'd just mistake me for a common criminal.

Nowadays I spent my time making art, where I mostly focused on activism. Though it wasn't really the only thing I did. Recently I made an art show about poverty in National city, and how big corporations didn't care about their employees working minimum wage jobs.

Years ago I was in a small organization with a few others. We brought secrets to light about all the corrupt businessmen that were plentiful here. Or we played modern day Robin Hood. Giving their cash away to those who actually needed it.

Sadly we all drifted apart after the whole kidnapping thing. We all needed a break from the constant stress.

I would still have old members come up to me, but just like me, they knew everything became riskier. I also didn't have the best technology anymore to hack into the newer types of surveillance. Every year, our job became more difficult, as our targets increased their security measures. 

Back to Cat&co though. I was pretty nervous. I was about to meet up with some lady called Danvers. She had to interview me for an art publication of some magazine or something like that. It was all pretty vague, but I would never let a chance like that slide.

We were going to meet up in a café pretty close to the company. At least a café sounded a bit better than those dead empty offices. Where the only colorful things were the small plants they had on their desks.

Hopefully Kara wouldn't be one of those cold people.

Just when that thought went trough my head an overly exited blonde came walking up to me at a very fast pace.
