Hunting Party
Rainn and Vyra were standing not far from the narrow alley where they found the corpse. The cars of the Bureau's officers were parked along with ambulances and forensics. Red and blue lights illuminate this usually dark corner of the city.
"How did you know there was a murder here?" Vyra asked with a face that was still a little pale. Even though Vyra was able to control herself better than before.
Rainn had a hard time finding an answer he could give to Vyra. Because he couldn't possibly say anything about Systema.
"I have a hunch. Let's just say that this ability comes with my magical talent," Rainn finally answered. Even to his ears, such an answer sounded less convincing.
"Is that so?" asked Vyra, looking at Rainn with skeptical eyes.
Rainn shrugged, "I don't know either. Sometimes I can feel that way."
"Is it detection magic?"
"I don't know. Anyway, for now, it's not important," said Rainn. "We have to get out of here so as not to arouse suspicion."
