Chapter 21: Legendary Smith
"Then, Explain now why you come here?"
"Well, My name is Bell"
Bell start to explain that he got chased by the elf bandit, He ran away from the elf bandit camp and now the bandit is hunting him. He just lost in the forest and end up in the elf bandit camp, Due to the rules of the bandit.
An intruder must be kill on the spot to avoid their base got reveal. But Bell is also an elf so he also know how to avoid getting capture by the bandit. That's all Bell told but for Zed it doesn't make any sense.
"I can't trust him Ray, He might be one of them"
"No please trust me, How can I lie in this situation?"
Ray now in deep thinking, Should he let Bell stay or should he tell him to leave. After taking some time thinking about it, Ray finaly reach a conclusion.
"I will allow you to stay with us but with one condition"
"What is it?"
"You must follow us on our adventure, But it's up to you whether you want to follow or not"
"Give me some time"
Bell thinking, Should he join or not but what choice did he have, He has no way to run.
"May I ask some question?"
"This is nonsense Ray let me shut him for good"
"No zed wait, Sure go on"
Bell question is are they going to the elf kingdom, Ray tell him that he will visit all the kingdom to find his mom whereabouts. So Bell come to the conclusion, That he will join Ray and his friends on their adventure.
"Welcome to our party Bell, So let's rest for now"
"Alright"
But still Zed doesn't trust him at all he will keep watching Bell and never let is guard down. Bell on the other side feel annoy his instinct keep telling him that someone is watching you.
"Man look I don't know what is your problem, But can you let me sleep in peace"
"No worry I can also make you die at peace"
"That's now what I mean idiot!"
They start to argue each other like a normal husband and wife, But on the other side Ryo looks like he will soon explode. The arguement getting intense and intense, Ryo can't hold it anymore.
He release a mass bloodlust towards them, The two of them who are arguing immediately stop.
"Good, But if you start another arguement I will take you both down, Remember that"
The two of swallow their own saliva, The bloodlust that their feel is not some kind of child play its really warning to stop them, They both know what will happen when they still want to argue. So the decide to let it pass tonight and go to sleep.
It's morning, Ray and Ryo hs wake up menawhile Zed and Bell is still sleeping. Ray decide to stay for a while until the two of them wake up, Ryo finally realise Bell and start to ask Ray who is the person beside Zed.
"It's our new party member"
"Wait what? When did you recruit him"
"Last night"
Ryo got no idea at all, Well he's asleep last night, So Ray start to explain everything to Ryo. Everything including Bell situation, Ryo disagree with Ray's recruiting Bell, But Ray didn't want to miss the chance to recruit a new member.
"Don't worry I will take all the responsibility if something happen to us"
"Ah forget it, Fine I agree with you but don't take the responsibilityto yourself, Remember we are the one who want to follow you on your journey"
"Hahaha, Ah okay okay"
Zed and Bell has wake up, Ray and Ryo greet them and give them some tea. They enjoy the tea that Ray made, Before they take off, Ray give them some briefing about the journey that they will have in the future.
"So our journey will get dangerous and dangerous, I won't force you guys after that so if you don't want to continue it's okay I understand"
"We'll keep that in mind"
So they have decided, To follow Ray for now. It left an uneasiness feeling to them after Ray says he won't force them to join him, He's serious it's not about pitty but he really didn't want to force them to join him.
Just a few miles before they reach the Dwarf kingdom, After they left their camping site a mysterious figure appear to check their camping site. The figure inspect the camping site for a long time. After finish inspecting he immediately left.
"So he's heading there, I will this to leader"
Ray and his friends finally reach the Dwarf Kingdom, A guard approach them and ask what are they doing on this kingdom. Ray start to explain and told the guard that they're adventurer from Claude Kingdom.
"Hm I see so this is your party?"
"Yes they're"
"Alright then make sure you guys didn't do anything stupid or we will use force to kick you out"
"We will keep that in mind"
After a few question they finally enter Dwarf kingdom, They look around and Ray suggest them to visit the blacksmith first because he wanted a dagger so bad. So they agree with Ray and start to find a nearby smith.
"Ah there's one"
Bell saw one and they immediately rush there, But they're a bit disappointed because the smith look old and worn. Ray try to cheer them up and he start to find the owner of the smith. While he try to find the owner, He found an old dagger, Without hesitation he pick the dagger and start swinging the dagger.
"Oh not bad for a kid"
Ray who is busy swinging the dagger scream, Zed and the other immediately rush towards Ray location, After they arrive Ray already collapse and an old man greet them. Seeing Ray already collapse they immediately entering the batlle stance.
"Woah kids nowadays had no manner"
The old man start to explain what actually happen to Ray, Zed and the other finally calm down a bit. They never know Ray is the type who is collapse when he surprise.
"I see so that is the reason"
"Yes"
Ray finally come back to his sense, Everyone ask him if he is ok. But Ray seems ok he only shocked because an old man suddenly appear out of nowhere.
"So who are you old man?"
"Em let's say people once call me The Legendary Smith"
All of their expression change, It's a rare chance to meet the Legendary Smith. Full of curiosity, Ray ask him why would he stay here he could be rich by selling some of his creation.
"Kids nowdays are so innocent"
The old man started to explain why he would stay low and not exposing himself to the public.
Long time ago, There was a werewolf that know him, So the werewolf ask him to craft a weapon and a strong one. Of course the Legendary Smith accept it but he didn't know why the werewolf want to have a weapon like that.
After paying with some gold, The werewolf left, The legendary Smith enjoyed his night by drinking some booze. The werewolf? Nah he just don't care about that.
But at the same night, A lot of people were murdered. But the legendary smith didn't know what is happening until the murderer was caught. He was caught by the special unit of Michael to suppress the criminal.
He told the unit that the weapon was craft by the legendary smith, The special unit immediately suppress the legendary smith. When asked, The legendary smith didn't deny anything about crafting a weapon for murderer.
In the end, The murderer was executed and the legendary smith has one wish. He wish that the unit told everyone that he's dead. The special unit accepted his proposal and announced the dead of the legendary smith.
"I see so that's what happen"
"You're skilled enough to wield a dagger, Do you want me to craft it for you?"
"Eh I don't mind actually, Don't force yourself old man"
"Nah if it's for you-"
The old man seeing all of Ray's friend expression changed in a split second.
"Alright² you and your friends"
Their expression change again, But before that the old man need some material a strong one. He told Ray and his friends to find a diamond ore. The diamond is the hardest material in Claude Kingdom.
So Ray decide to talk to his friends first, But it seems there is no point talking to them because they're really looking forward for a new weapon.
"So where we can find this ore?"
"Oh it's in a cave deep inside the forest"
"I see, Well we are ready"
But before they depart, The Smith advice them to stay for one night in his blacksmith although it's broken and feel uncomfortable.
"Alright we'll depart tomorrow morning for now let's rest in here"
Ray decide to listen to the old man advice and stay for a night.
"Let me tell you guys something that cave is dangerous, There are many people who enters the cave but not returning"
