i can smell a fire and I hear the crackle of the flame. I still can't believe my sister got a rabbit. I'm excited to have some meat it's been two weeks since I've had any and I'm starving just thinking about it. "almost ready. make sure to kiss the cook." Maria seems just as happy as me. she would say that every time she cooks. only once was she kissed on the cheek and the guy who did it was found bloody an hour later. "are you still saying that. I'm the only one here and couldn't find your cheek if I tried." I say to my sister as she passed me a skewer of meat. I start eating as Maria burst out laughing. "good point." after dinner Maria lead me close to the fire to keep warm over night. and while she lead me close I took my chance to steal a kiss from her. Maria froze from this action. "are you ok? why did you stop?" Maria started laughing. and once she finally stopped. "I can't believe you actually did it. you kissed the cook." and then the laughing continued but this time from the both of us. after calming down we finally found sleep.
