"Daphne"

I heard someone calling my name and slowly opened my eyes. I needed a moment to fully wake and saw a man standing in front of me and locking down at me. He is really handsome, but something was strange. Yes, his eyes didn't look normal, more like eyes of a beast? How would I know, I only saw animals in zoo's in my previous life, but I couldn't tell which animal his eyes resembled. My Instinct is telling me that he's dangerous.

After a few Seconds of silence he said: "I really wanted to meet my next master, you truly are an interesting one. Frankly, I was hoping you would start crying at my sight."

'I guess every normal child would have started crying, but of course he couldn't know that I am different.'

"What's that supposed to mean, you are different?"

'Huh? Can you read my mind?'

"If I couldn't, it would have been difficult to understand you, wouldn't it?"

'Ah, yes, right. So who are you and what brings you here?'

"My name is Yurahara and I want to make a contact with you. You know, I am a Dragon and want you as my master."

'Dragon? Like the dragon from the fairy tail? Didn't he die?'

"You say this as if there is only one dragon existing. So I guess I need to prove to you that I'm a dragon."

In the Blink of an eye there was standing a real dragon before me. He looks gorgeous. I can't take my eyes of him, that's such a new view for me, i never saw something like that. He's so pretty but looks dangerous at the same time.

After a few seconds he was again in his human form and explained to me: "Dragons are waiting for the perfect master for them. They would wait thousands of years to serve this one person. And you are happen to be this person for me. The moment you were born I felt an urge to protect you and not to leave your side", after this he sighed deeply. "I am the black dragon, yurahara, the Villain under the Dragons. And actually So far, I've killed every human destined for myself, before they were even born. But I can't harm you. It's different this time."

"So please let me stay by your side and protect you."

To be honest, I haven't recovered from the shock of having a real dragon standing in front of me and I don't understand exactly what he's talking about, but I want him by my side. I've never had such a feeling that everything in me screams to accept him. I think he will do everything in his might to protect me.

'I allow you to stay by my side. Please prove to me that my trust is not in vain.'

"Thank you my master"

Suddenly the room shone brightly as if the sun were in here. After the light had disappeared, I saw something like a tattoo on my left hand and realized that Yurahara was also having the same one at the same position.

"That seems to be the sign for our contract"

Suddenly I was really exhausted and as soon as I closed my eyes, I fell asleep

In the morning I remembered what happened and was really surprised when Lillian said nothing to the tattoo, but when I looked down on my hand there was nothing. It seems like it vanished.

Every time I was alone, Yurahara appeared out of thin air and drove my boredom away by telling me stories from his past or playing with me. I have a feeling he's purposely only telling me nice and happy stories instead of everything he went through. Nonetheless it's really nice to have him by my side.

It's been a year since I opened my eyes here. Till now nothing special happened, except I took my first steps. Somehow I have a feeling that today's going to be different than my everyday life. I have a bad feeling about this.

'yurahara'

"yes" a deep voice said and a man appeared before me

'What day is it today?'

"It's the year 245x 16 may, my lady"

'So it's a normal day, right?'

"Yes"

'But i have a horrible feeling, like i'm missing something'

"..."

'You know something, tell me'

"I heard the maids talk, it seems Lillian needs to work at the fourth prince's palace from now on and no one knows why."

'Eh?'

What? No... Nooo... Why? Why Lillian? Can't he have anyone else? Lillian is the only one really caring for me. Without her with me, my life will be much harder. She's like my mom, why does he want to take my mom away from me?

"You still have me by your side, don't forget that"

'I'm not forgetting you, it's just that she's my mother'

"She's not really your mother"

'You don't have to remind me it's not like I don't know that she is not the woman who gave birth to me, but she's the one raising me'

"Should I kill this prince, so she can stay by your side?"

*BANG*

The door was opened with a loud bang and a kid came in. Thank goodness that Yurahara managed to vanish before the person that entered saw him.

"You should've died. Maybe I should kill you. BECAUSE OF YOU LILLIAN WON'T STAY BY MY SIDE! DIE!"

Looks like this one is the fourth prince. He's way too loud. But thanks to him i know now that Lillian is going to stay by my side and not by his. He is also really handsome. He has silver hair and blue eyes like the ocean and I can't help but wonder if I look anything like him. He should be 5 years old now.

"Prince. She's a baby and you are too loud. It's not her fault that the maid won't stay with you, the king assigned her to stay here." A voice said from a point in the room where I don't see who talked.

"You should shut your mouth! As my personal knight, you should be on my side. Well, whatever, it's the first time i see this thing here and hopefully the last."

And he just went away like that. Why did he even come here to begin with?

Soon after this annoying little prince went away Lilian came back. She's looking really tired so I think I should try to cheer her up. I trained secretly for this so let's not blow it.

"Mama"

Everything went still, as if she even stopped breathing. After a Long Pause she started crying, but I hope these are happy tears.

"I'm so happy I can stay by your side forever, my princess."

So we both kinda started crying and hugging till I was so exhausted that I fell asleep.

A strange feeling woke me up. „Yura"

No answer. This never happened. I'm starting to panic cause yurahara was like always by my side and would look over me but where is my dragon now?

„I don't know who you try to call but no one will be able to help you." A low voice said.

"Wh-", something sharp touched my cheek. I think I'm bleeding.

"Don't cry now child, you were supposed to die with ivanna that time. He couldn't have a child from this women, no, he shouldn't have children at all, so I'm planning on killing all six of you, like I killed both his empresses."

I guess I'm still a one year old cause I couldn't stop the tears from coming even though I didn't wanted to.

Why isn't my dragon with me when my life's in danger?

Am i going to die without really starting my life?

BANG!

The door was thrown open with so much power she cracked.

"His Majesty was right, you really dared to come back."

Who is this person talking?

Everything happened in the blink of an eye there were red and green lights blinking and I couldn't keep up with the situation till everything was over.

But I'm kind of excited to see who won even though I probably should be scared and ask myself if my life was in danger.

Suddenly there was light and a young man was standing in front of me.

"It's our first time meeting little princess and I'm here to escort you to his Majesty. His plan really worked. Though I can't belief he used the 'abandoned' princess as bait. But who is Yura and why did you cry out for him ?'

Let's act like the baby I am.

"Dada"

The face of the man in front of me turned crimson pretty fast.

"Wha- Wh- Wait, No. I'm not your Father but you will meet him soon. But you really are a cute little girl, really how can anyone make you life in a castle were lots of bad deeds happened."

Suddenly he flew away from me and collided with the wall.

"Master, I'm so sorry I'm late but there was something important I needed To take care of first. But I won't leave your side from now on so lean on me."

How can a living being act so rashly?

"Wh- What do you mean with master? There is no one here except-"

‚I would've died already if it wasn't for the guy you threw just now.

Can't you see the guy lying in the floor?'

"What guy laying on the floor? here is nothing."

‚But there must be something he killed the guy that tried to kill me just now.'

"Of course there is nothing on the floor I teleported the guy to the dungeons but you just tried to kill the Duke of the East so you'll be severely punished."

‚Duke of the East? That's not important right now you need to beg for forgiveness Yurahara or else we will be separated!'

"I would never bag a human being to forgive me, who do you take me for, master?"

"And who are you talking to right now?" This duke asked Yuray

"None of your concerns."

"You should step away from her Highness if you want to get out of here alive, dude."

‚Yurahara go away for now. If you can't apologise, you'll make it worse.'

"Alright."

So he vanished.

"This whole situation doesn't make any, so I'll just take you to the main palace."

He picked me up carefully and we made our way out of this place..
