Epilogue: This is just the beggining...

Hecate had never known such happiness, except on the days she had given birth to her daughters, to see the happiness written in Aura's face was a priceless gift, as was her grandson Gabriel, the Fates had even lost some of their usual gloominess, they were playing with the toddler laughing with him and teaching him their antics, you could not expect anything else from them, after all they were… the Fates.

She watched Morgan sitting quietly next to Aura watching her closely so she would not overdue, baby Diana was due in two months, and it was obvious he could hardly wait to hold his daughter in his arms, the love they shared was unique, the bond they had created inspiring.

Hecate saw Asia come to her and smiled as her youngest daughter asked, 'Aren't you happy you let Aura do as she pleased?' 'Yes, but the Fates had already ruled on Aura, there was nothing I could do, she was meant for far greater things than I had ever imagined…as are you…' she said mysteriously.

'Now, mama, you know that I do not want a man in my life, I'm Queen until I can pass down the title, you know that, unfortunately your daughters and my dear sisters have no wish to become Queens, it is somewhat like a prison…don't you think?' Asia said trying not to get angry again at her mother's lack of discretion on what concerned her single status.

'No, not really, but look where it got your sister…wanting to escape it brought her unending happiness, so if trying to escape being Queen brings my daughters happiness…you can try all you want… the last word is always Fate.'

From the other side Morgan and Aura were observing the exchange, 'Your mum is at it again, do you think she'll ever give up?' Morgan asked Aura, 'Na, she likes making us suffer…' she answered pensively massaging her huge belly; Diana was having a party inside her, for a girl she really knew how to kick.

'You know, I think we should go inside and have a lay down, you look tired.' Morgan said looking sideways at his gorgeous sorceress, 'Tired! I'm not tired and you Morgan Wolfhound are too clever for my taste…' Aura said laughing knowing only too well that what Morgan wanted was to get her into bed, Morgan laughed 'You know me by heart!' he said kissing her full on the lips making her sigh with contentment.

Her life was complete, she was happy, her world was safe, her sisters were living their lives, her mother was making trouble as always and the Fates loved Gabe so much he could do whatever he wanted with them.

She had always rebelled at the thought of Fate governing life, but Fate made life interesting, you could fight it, you could accept it, or you could change it, no matter the choice…it would always be Fate and it would always be your choice.
