Nightmare

Suzuki's field of vision was blank then he saw a familiar scene in front of him that was played like a movie. Suzuki saw a younger version of himself sitting in a living room sofa while watching television. In the living room he could see his father, mother who is pregnant and his big sister sitting besides him. They were watching a cartoon show that Suzuki loved and they looked like a very happy family together 'Where did the original Suzuki goes wrong?' Suzuki thought since most of the memory of original Suzuki are like broken fragments with only some that is intact then he saw the scene unfold then he saw his mother combs the young Suzuki's hair

"Suzuki soon you will be 7 years old, are you ready for school?" his mother asked

"Yes!" young Suzuki replied

His mother smiled warmly at his reply "I'm glad I thought you wouldn't want to go to school since you were bullied" his mother said relieved "So you wanted to go to school with your friend?" his mother asked

"Yes! I want to go to school with him!" young Suzuki said happily

when the young Suzuki was younger he was once bullied when he plays in the park and goes home crying with bruised knee since he fell down a lot while running towards home and this made Suzuki a some what shut in child since he is still okay to go out within the vicinity of his house. Suzuki's family are well off and they lived in a three story high house with a pretty big garden in the front and a wide backyard. Suzuki usually plays in the backyard alone and that made his parents worried but one day a boy next door hopped over the fence and greeted Suzuki

"Hey! the girl over there do you want to play?" the boy said to Suzuki as he approach him, yes he said girl because Suzuki usually wear girls clothing when he is at home and this is the catalyst that made Suzuki the target of bullying because Suzuki carelessly goes outside wearing girls clothing that one time

'Ugh why did I wear that again?' Suzuki grimaced

The reason why he is wearing that is because his sister asked him too since she wanted a little sister for so long and Suzuki looks very girlish when he is young so she asked him to wear girls clothing. When young Suzuki wears a dress for the first time his big sister smiled widely and hugged him saying that he is so cute and that made Suzuki happy since his sister don't smile like that normally so he decided to wears girls clothes when he is at home to make his big sister happy

"Wh-what do you want?" young Suzuki said warily

"What I want? of course to play!" the boy said cheerfully

"Wh-why me? can't you play with other children at the park" young Suzuki said

"I don't like those kids since they would bully a cute girl like you" the boy said with a bored face

"So it was you that throw that ball?" young Suzuki said, while he was bullied before someone had thrown a ball at the leader looking kid making him angry and shouting order to find the one who had thrown the ball so they stopped their assault on Suzuki leaving him with only light bruises. Young Suzuki felt very grateful towards the boy in front of him. The boy who was looking at Suzuki's expression smiled

"So do you want to play together?" the boy said

"Okay!" young Suzuki said and they happily played together until late in the afternoon

Suzuki who return to the house covered in dirt made his parents worried and they rushed towards him

"A-are you alright Suzuki?" his mother said while panicking she was worried that he might be bullied by that boy from before

"No I was just playing with my new friend!" young Suzuki said while smiling brightly like a child of his age suppose to and this made his parents relieved

'Right I used have a friend like him' Suzuki thought but the memory was unclear so he couldn't see the boy's face or remember his name

Suzuki's vision changed into a different scene. It was at the time he entered school young Suzuki was sitting at the front of the class looking excited he was waiting for the his friend and looking left and right for his sign but the bell rung and no other student comes into the class and soon after that the teacher arrived while there is no sign of his friend

"All right students I will be your home room teacher an-" the teacher said but Suzuki ignored most of what he said because he is more concerned with his friend coming

After a few minutes the teacher finished home room then the teacher asked all of the students to go to the gym for orientation. The students went to the gym in great numbers. There was around 100 students in this school and for some reason all of the students are required to attend the orientation regardless of their grade so there was a lot of students that filled the gym. After all of the students assembled in the gym the principal gave a few speeches then the students was allow to go home afterwards. With no sign of his friend in the school young Suzuki hurriedly goes home and changed his clothes then went to the backyard. Young Suzuki could see that his friend is there sitting under the tree that they usually rest under after playing. Young Suzuki was really happy when he saw his friend and rushed towards him as quickly as possible but he saw that his friend was making a sorrowful face. Young Suzuki was quite surprise to the the usually cheerful boy looking this sad. Young Suzuki carefully approached him

"H-hey! what's wrong?" young Suzuki said trying to sound like his usual self

"Oh it's you Suzuki-kun" the boy said weakly

"C-can I sit besides you?" young Suzuki asked and he saw that the boy was patting the ground besides him then young Suzuki sits at that spot besides him

After young Suzuki sits down the boy leaned his head towards young Suzuki's shoulder

"Wh-what's wrong with you?!" young Suzuki said surprised at the sudden action but then he heard him crying softly besides him and young Suzuki man up and let him cry while petting his head "There there" young Suzuki comforted him

After a few minutes later the boy's crying subsided then he looks at young Suzuki with swelling red eyes while smiling

"Thanks Suzuki, you are so manly even though you are a girl" the boy said, he still mistaken young Suzuki for a girl

"I don't know about that but what is wrong? why were you crying just now?" young Suzuki asked with concern

The boy looks like he was having a hard time saying the words but when he saw Suzuki's resolute eyes he blushed as he looks down and mustered up his words "We-well the truth is that I'm going to move to a different country" the boy said with an expression close to crying suddenly young Suzuki hugged the boy "Wha-what's wrong Suzuki-kun?!" the boy asked in surprised but he did not resist

"Thank god I thought that you hated me" young Suzuki said with relieve while smiling widely and still hugging the boy

"Hate you? I would never" the boy said hugging him back

After a few minutes of silence both of them released each other from the hug and sitting there with awkward silence then young Suzuki looked at the boy

"So where are you going to go?" young Suzuki asked

"My father got a new job so we are moving to a different country to accompany him" the boy said with a sad tone then look up towards the sky

"So it's like that huh" young Suzuki said following the boy's gaze

Suzuki could see the nice bright blue sky turning more orange as the sun setting down making him feel relaxed then the boy tugged young Suzuki's clothes

"Suzuki-kun wh-what am I suppose to do? my mother looked very happy with my father's new job and they also looked very troubled to tell me the news since I over heard them when I was going to the bathroom at night" the boy said as he put more strength to his grip looking very miserable

young Suzuki then puts his hand over the boy's head and that made the boy looked at him with glassy eyes "It's ok, just follow what your parents because my mother always said that parents never wanted their children to suffer" young Suzuki said with a smile

"Bu-but how about you Suzuki-kun? if I go you will be alone and I don't want you to get bullied again" the boy said with a sorrowful tone

"It will be fine" young Suzuki said

"No! it won't be fine because last time you cried when you fall! how am I suppose to not worry towards my cute friend!" the boy said resolutely

"I-I was just surprise that is all but I promise that I won't cry over again" young Suzuki said

"How are you going to back that up?" the boy said with suspicion

"I will tell you a secret of mine" young Suzuki said playfully

"Eh? is that so tell me then" the boy said in an uninterested manner

Suzuki then closed in towards his ears "The truth is I'm a boy" young Suzuki whispered

"Hah? you are a boy?! isn't that a big fat lie how can some one as cute as you be a boy!" the boy protested

"Yes look at me I'm wearing clothes for boy and my hair is short" young Suzuki said

"But still those are not strong evidence are they?" the boy said still not believing young Suzuki

"Alright then how about this" young Suzuki said then he pulled his pants down and his thing jiggles at the sudden movement

The boy then blushed and covered his face "Wh-what are you doing you idiot!!" the boy shouted

"I'm showing you the proof that I'm a boy" young Suzuki said as he titled his head innocently

"But show some shame will you!!" the boy shouted while still covering his face

"Not until you believe me" young Suzuki said

"I believe you!!" the boy said

"Really?" young Suzuki said

"Yes! I believe you so stop showing you th-thing in front of me!!!" the boy shouted

Young Suzuki then pulled his pants back and told the boy it was okay. The boy removed his hands from his face showing a cute blushing face of him

*throb*

'Did my heart just beat faster?!' Suzuki thought feeling a little concern about his young self

"So you are a boy" the boy said while not making eye contact

"Yes so I will be fine" young Suzuki said nonchalantly

"Yes I guess so" the boy said

"Well it's almost night I think we should return to our home now" young Suzuki said as he looked at the darken sky

"Yes bu- no never mind" the boy said

"Okay see you later" young Suzuki said

"Y-yes see you later Suzuki-kun" the boy said then young Suzuki turn around and walks towards his home suddenly young felt an impact from his back then he looked back to see it was the boy hugging him strongly behind him

"Wh-what's wrong?" young Suzuki asked

"The truth is I'm not a boy!!" the boy said

"Wh-what?" Suzuki said confused

"Yes I'm actually a girl and when I saw you were dressed like a girl I was hoping that we could be friends but the other kids was giving you trouble so I hid my face under my cap and throw the ball at that kid. When they chased me I was so scared that I cried when I reached my room then I looked out the window saw you playing alone. I was surprise that you lived next door so after a few days I mustered up my courage to talk to you but you mistaken me as a boy while I mistaken you for a girl but I was happy that we could be friends in the end. After playing with you for all this time I had so much fun and I was looking forward to what are going to do at school tomorrow but when I heard my father got a new job I became worried and skipped school but I couldn't stand not looking at you for one day so I sit down at the tree and waited for you. Not only that you tried to cheer me up but comforted me with kind word and I realized now that I'm in love with you Suzuki-kun. Wha-what am I suppose to do? I'm scared that you would forget me if I leave so what am I suppose to do?" the bo- no the girl said while she cried

Young Suzuki who received her heartfelt confession was confused but then he turned around and hugged the girl surprising her

"Eh? Suzuki-kun?" the girl asked

"It will be fine. Even if we can't see each I will not forget my first and best friend. So please don't cry" young Suzuki said while still hugging her

Feeling the warmth from Suzuki's hug the girl stop crying and nuzzled her face to Suzuki's chest. After a period that seems like it was a long time the girl removed her grip and young Suzuki followed her. The girl who was blushing and fidgeting while looking at young Suzuki and young Suzuki who was scratching the back of his head awkwardly while blushing

"Ne~ Suzuki-kun could you pat me again before I leave" the girl said shyly

"Of course" young Suzuki said then he patted her head

The girl who looked delighted with young Suzuki's patting relaxed her posture and smiled

"Suzuki-kun could you promise me something?" the girl asked shyly

"Yes what is it?" young Suzuki said while patting her head

"Can we get married when we are older?" the girl asked while blushing

'Married? what is that?' young Suzuki thought but when young Suzuki saw his best friend's expression he said "Okay!" happily

The girl smiled widely "Hehe I will be your bride" the girl said happily while blushing "And one more thing" the girl said

"Okay" young Suzuki said

"Can you make other friends besides me?" the girl asked worriedly

"Well I don't know but I will try my best to make more friends" young Suzuki said

"Then make it a pinky promise" the girl said as she present her pinky finger towards young Suzuki

"Okay!" young Suzuki then young Suzuki intertwined his pinky with the girls pinky and the smiled happily making the promise

After a while the girl left and young Suzuki went to bed after eating dinner

'Such a sweet scene!' Suzuki thought as an imaginary tear fell from his eye but that was the last memory of Suzuki's childhood friend

Then the scene changed once more. Suzuki saw that the young Suzuki was doing pretty well though the memory was fast forwarded but he could see that he got good score and achieved the first rank a couple of time. Sadly young Suzuki was isolated from his classmate even though he tried his best to approach them but they scurry away from him because of his intelligence

'Sigh it is sad to see that kids dislike people who are different from them' Suzuki thought as he sighed

Then the scene slowed down into normal speed. Suzuki could see that the young Suzuki was outside dashing in the field for the PE lesson. It looks like young Suzuki has aged around 3 years and he had skipped a few grade because of his intelligence so he is now at the third year of junior high

'Wow that is ridiculous, a kid who is not even mentally prepared was going to junior high just because he was smart' Suzuki complained in his head

This happens because the school recommended his parents that young Suzuki should receive a higher education and since this before with his big sister his parents of course happily accepted this

Young Suzuki was not that fast and he got the last place because of it. The kids around him ridicule him behind his back. Though young Suzuki heard this but he still persevere until the end and took their mocking head on

"Making fun of people is not good!" young Suzuki shouted

This made all of the students who was laughing become quiet. Though some wanted to complain they can't refute what young Suzuki had said but suddenly a baseball flew in the his direction and all of the students gasped in surprise and the teacher rushed to young Suzuki

"Hey! watch out!" the teacher warned

But by the time Suzuki noticed the ball it hits him right in his forehead causing him to fell down head first to the ground. Young Suzuki was bleeding from his head and unconscious. Young Suzuki was immediately rushed to the hospital. His family rushed to the hospital when they heard the news and was to wait for the doctor to dress his wounds. After stopping the bleeding from his head the doctor said that young Suzuki is fine but he might have a bit of head trauma and the doctor recommend that he should stay in the hospital just in case and his mother cried on the spot relieved that his son is not dead while his big sister was sniffling besides her and his father looked relieved while holding his little sister in his hands. Young Suzuki woke after a few hour and he had a blank look on his face

"Where am I?" young Suzuki asked

"You are at the hospital" a nurse said as she pressed a button besides young Suzuki's bed

"Is that so?" young Suzuki said

Then young Suzuki went back to sleep perhaps thinking that this was all just a dream. Young Suzuki returned to his home the next day he looks like he was fine so his parents asked him to go to school once again but he refused in a way that made him like a convict refusing going to jail. In the end his parents agreed with young Suzuki's selfish request. And young Suzuki lived his childhood depraved form outside contact though he still cared about his sisters and his mother and treat them gently but his attitude towards his father was the worst for some reason. And the scene fast forwarded again until young Suzuki was kicked out from his house

'This is painful to watch' Suzuki thought as he turned his sight away from the scene while closing his eyes then suddenly he was seating on the floor eating alone

'Guess I'm eating alone again today' Suzuki thought, this is the usual scene that Suzuki saw every time he eats after being kicked out of his house 'Well after what I did to my dad of course I will be kicked out' Suzuki thought feeling a little bit sad 'The food taste bland' Suzuki thought as he stuffed a mouthful of rice into his face. After he finished eating he closed his eyes and clap his hands "Thanks for the food" Suzuki said then he opened his eyes to find the scene changed again. This time Suzuki is seated in a dining table looking at a familiar scene

"My! I'm glad that you like it Ryo-kun" Sako said looking delighted

"Aww! But you haven't tried this yet Ryo-senpai!" Chitose said while holding a shrimp with chopsticks as she bring it close to Suzuki's mouth

"Chi-chan! stop that! can't you see that Suzuki-kun had enough" Alicia scolded

"But but it's ok right Senpai?" Chitose said as she tilted her head cutesily while still trying to feed Suzuki

"Well I don't mind eating a little bit more" Suzuki said then a beautiful smile blooms from Chitose's face as she feed Suzuki with the shrimp

"You don't have to follow her antics all the time Suzuki-kun, you're spoiling her" Alicia said as she sighed

"How was it Senpai?" Chitose said while smiling

"Yeah it's good Chi-chan, did you make this?" Suzuki said

"Yes I made it with a bit of help from mom" Chitose said

"Oh is that so~ I remembered that you burnt a few of them when I leave you alone no?" Sako said while grinning

"Mom! do-don't say that!" Chitose said while puffing her cheeks then Sako chuckled at her daughters reaction

"Now now, the important part is that you help make this delicious food, isn't that right Kizuna-san" Suzuki said with a wry smile while patting Chitose's head to console her

"Yeah it's quite delicious you know" Alicia added

"And the one that found this recipe was you wasn't Chi-chan, so be a little bit confident" Sako said with a warm smile then Chitose starts grinning

"Hehe is that so?" Chitose said happily

"Yes" Suzuki said as he stop patting Chitose

"Ah! c-can you pet m-me more S-Senpai?" Chitose said shyly then Suzuki smiled as he pats her again

Suzuki could hear purring sound coming from Chitose as he pats her then Suzuki looks at the other direction to see Alicia smiled happily and Sako smiling warmly at the scene. Suzuki felt very relaxed with this happy atmosphere lingering around that would make anyone smile warmly he felt very happy 'I hope this feeling would last forever' Suzuki thought as he relaxed his posture while closing his eyes then he breath in a mouthful of air before releasing it slowly 'Man this feels so goods' Suzuki thought then he heard a loud piercing scream of a woman. Suzuki immediately opened his eyes to see that the Kizuna's apartment was on fire 'What's going on!!' Suzuki thought stunned by the sudden change then he saw Sako who was wailing sorrowfully on the ground while crying

"NOOOOOO!!!!!!!" the Sako screamed

Suzuki immediately runs towards Sako

"Wh-what wrong?! what's going on!!!" Suzuki shouted as he puts his hand on Sako's shoulder but his hand just passed through her just like air "Kizuna-san!! why is the apartment is on fire!!" Suzuki shouted agitatedly but Sako just cried like she didn't hear Suzuki's loud shout 'Huh?! why?! why can't she hear me?!' Suzuki thought feeling confused but then a thug like man come from behind and tugged Sako's hair forcefully

Looking at this Suzuki punched the thug in anger but his fist just went through him just like before 'Why! why is this happening!!' Suzuki thought

"Come here!" the thug said

"NOO!!!" Sako

The thug ignored her and just forcefully pulled her

"Stop it!!!" Suzuki shouted in anger while punching the thug but it has no effect

Then the thug punched Sako on her stomach making faint

"This is why you should listen to me bitch!" the thug said as he laughed

Suzuki who has passed his boiling point fired liquid ball at the thug 'Please hit' Suzuki thought but his liquid ball just passed through the thug who is carrying Sako away. Suzuki chased after the thug but for some reason the distance between them is getting further and further until he can't see the thug. Suzuki punched the ground in anger "Why!! why can't I hit him!!! why can't I stop him from taking Kizuna-san" Suzuki shouted the fist that he hit the ground with was bleeding, even though it was painful but Suzuki didn't care he was still confused why can't he saved Sako then he heard another scream and this time it was Chitose in the alleyway

"Kyaa!!! wh-wh-what are you doing!!!" Chitose shouted

"Hehehe, bocchan said that we can do anything to you" yankee boss said while grinning pervertedly

"You bastard!!!" Suzuki shouted and ran towards the yankee boss and punched him in the head but like before Suzuki just passed the yankee boss like he was made of air "Why!!!" Suzuki shouted as he is on the ground after stumbling from the punch before

"Alright boys let's bring her to our base!" the yankee boss said and the yankees laughed disgustingly and carried Chitose away

"No!! some one save me!!!" Chitose shouted

"Hehe no one is going to save you little girl" the yankee boss said while grinning as they walk away from the alleyway

"Noo!!!" Suzuki shouted as he chase after Chitose but the distance keep on growing apart until Suzuki can't see them anymore "Kizuna-san and Chi-chan, why!! WHY!!!!" Suzuki shouted as he clutched his face in sadness then he heard a gun shot behind him and he saw that Alicia was shot by Kirito

"YOU DESERVE THAT BITCH!!!" Kirito shouted as he laughed like a madman and walks away from the location

Suzuki rushed to Alicia quickly as possible. Suzuki could see a puddle had formed from Alicia's blood and her body was limp with lifeless eyes "Alicia-san!!!" Suzuki shouted as he grabbed her hand and surprisingly he could touch her hand but it was cold

"Is tha-that you Su-Suzuki-kun" Alicia said weakly with cloudy eyes

"Yes it's me Alicia-san, I could still save you hold on" Suzuki said feeling a mixture of relieve that Alicia can hear him and sadness looking at her state while trying to carry her

"I'm so-sorry Suzuki-kun" Alicia said as tears fell from her eyes

"Why?! why are you apologizing?!" Suzuki said feeling worried

"I do-don't think I c-can last any lo-longer" Alicia said

"No don't say that please, the hospital is right around the corner I'm sure I can carry you there" Suzuki said with a perplex tone

"Th-this good by-bye Suzuki-kun, I'm s-sad that I c-can't be wi-with you any mo-more" Alicia said weakly with a smile then she stopped moving

"Hey! Alicia-san! no way! you are still alive right?!" Suzuki shouted as he shook Alicia's body but there was no response

"ALICIA!!!!!!!!!!!" Suzuki shouted at the top of his lungs to the sky then the scene changed again this time into dark emptiness with only Suzuki in it

Suzuki was on his knee crying "Why! why can't I save them!!!" Suzuki shouted as he slammed the ground then after a few hours in the seemingly dark void Suzuki felt like his life was meaningless "I'm so useless. I can't even save them, the people who I cared. I should just rot here" Suzuki said as he gave up on living but then a bright warm light appeared in front of him beckoning him towards it then his whole vision turn white

Suzuki woke up from his nightmare

"What was that?!" Suzuki said as he clutched his head 'It felt so real, like I was the one there but not at the same time' Suzuki thought feeling confused then he heard a knock coming from his door. Suzuki quickly opened the door to see Alicia and Chitose standing in front of it looking surprise at Suzuki who is not wearing his school clothes

"Did you over slept Suzuki-kun?" Alicia asked

"Yeah Ryu-senpai why are you wearing that?" Chitose asked

Suzuki suddenly hugged both of them at the same time

"Wh-what's wrong Suzuki-kun?!" Alicia said flustered while blushing

"Kyaa!! Is it finally that?! bu-but I'm no-not ready yet Senpai!" Chitose said excitedly while blushing

"I had a horrible nightmare where I was powerless and couldn't save you" Suzuki said weakly

When Alicia and Chitose heard Suzuki like this both of them became quiet and listen to Suzuki

"I saw the apartment was on fire and I can't stopped them from abducting your mother. I also saw Chi-chan was taken away by those yankee and I saw Alicia-san getting shot by Kirito and all I can do was looking with out being able to do anything" Suzuki said as he put more strength to his hug "Please tell me that was all a nightmare" Suzuki said while his body trembled in fear

"Yes it's fine Suzuki-kun it was all just a bad dream" Alicia said gently as she hug Suzuki back

"Yeah Senpai don't worry, the fact that we are here was because you saved us after all" Chitose said gently as hug Suzuki back

Suzuki felt their warmth, softness and nice scent. That made him relieved that all of that was just a nightmare and the three of them stayed like that for a while
