The Dark Vines Lurk...(Joey)

We walk for sometime, searching through shops. Something that I could find useful. Something I could keep when I leave. Maybe a weapon? or...a memory? Of this place, its sky and its land. The people. The warmth.

"Hey," The shaggy haired boy, Dustin, nudges my shoulder, holding a diary in his hands, "What about this?"

I frown, questioningly, "Why would I buy that?"

Dustin shrugs in thought. "I don't know. To record daily events or-"

"I think I'm good." I say, with a small smile. "Thank though."

Dustin sighs, dramatically. "And I thought shopping with girls is hard."

"Shut up." Charlotte rolls her eyes. "You're acting like you hate shopping with Sara and me."

"I do." Dustin replies bluntly, looking at me he says, "I'm just a very nice person."

I scoff, trying to hold in a laugh, Dustin on the other hands, starts laughing. Charlotte glares at us, disapprovingly,

"Let's go to another store?" She says, confused.
